Trailer Connector Socket Installation - 2005 Chevrolet Silverado

Today, on this 2005 Chevrolet Silverado Extended Cab, we're going to install Part Number HM40975. This is the Pollak 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector with Mounting Bracket. Today, on this 2005 Chevrolet Silverado Crew Cab, this is a Hopkins Endurance 5th Wheel Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness. Were going to install part number 41157. This is actually relatively easy to install. First off, lets find a location where were going to install our 7-pole connector. In this case, it will be closer to the tailgate. Once we find our location, well go ahead and drill out a 1/4 pilot hole. After we drill out our pilot hole, well go ahead and enlarge it with a hole saw to a diameter of 2-1/8. Once we have our hole drilled out, well go ahead and install our wire harness. more
