Best 2010 Chevrolet Express Van Trailer Wiring Options

Today on our 2010 Chevrolet Express we'll be looking at our best trailer wiring options. We have two wiring options here today for the Chevrolet Express Van. Now both of these options are for vehicles that don't have the factory tow package installed. Off to the right we have the CURT T-Connector, part number 55540. Over here to the left we have the Hopkins Plug-N-Tow, part number 31345. Now both of our wiring harnesses will attach in the same manner. They both will go into the factory taillight connectors in-line, no cutting, no splicing required. more

Today on our 2010 Chevrolet Express van we will be installing the tow-ready T1 vehicle wiring harness with four pole flat trailer connector, part number 118392. We will begin here at the rear of the vehicle and we'll need to open up the two rear cargo doors. Now, let's go ahead and point out the two connection points we'll be tying our T1 wiring harness in with. Now, to disconnect the factory wiring harness, we'll simply push in on the locking tab and gently pull the connection point apart. Now, we'll go ahead and take our T fitting for over here on the driver's side. We'll be using the one that has three wires. The white wire with the ring terminal for the ground and the brown and yellow wires that are tied in with the T connection. more
