Today in our 2016 Buick Lacrosse, we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector. Part number is 118497. Now, this wiring harness for your Lacrosse is going to give you your turn signals, it's going to give you your brake signals, it's going to give you running lights, it's going to be very effective for small utility trailers or for cargo carriers that you might want to hook up. The thing I like about this Tekonsha system is that you're getting a standard module box which is powered on its own, so you're not drawing any power through the vehicle's system. And it also gives you isolation, so it's going to isolate whatever you're plugging in from your vehicles wiring system.Essentially that means if you have shorts in the trailer, which tends to be pretty common, that's not going to be transferred into your vehicle, so we're not going to have to worry about that.
