Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2011 Buick LaCrosse

Speaker 1: Today on our 2011 Buick Lacrosse, we'll be having a look at and installing the Tekonsha T-1 vehicle wiring harness with a four pole flat trailer connector, part number 118497. Here's what our wiring looks like installed. When it's not in use, we can simply store it out of the way beneath our spare tire cover here. That way, when we load any cargo in and out of our trunk, it won't get damaged. When we want to tow our trailer, we'll pull up on our spare tire cover here, pull our wiring harness out, drape it to the side here of our trunk latch so it doesn't get pinched. As you can see, we have an adequate length wire, which ends up right by our trailer hitch receiver. This gives us plenty of length to hook up to our trailer. more
