Curt Powered Tail Light Converter Kit Installation - 2015 BMW X5- Video
Hey, everyone, Shane here with etrailer.com. Today, I have a 2015 BMW X5. I'm gonna walk you through how to install the Curt powered taillight converter kit. This is gonna give you your four-pole connection so that if you're pulling a small trailer that doesn't have brakes on it, it's gonna give you all your proper lighting functions so you're legal and safe, brake signals, turn signals, and running lights. It's gonna have a nice dust cap, so when you're not using it, you can put the dust cap on over the connections and it keeps them from getting clogged up or corroded. Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2015 BMW X5- Video
Narrator: Today our 2015 BMW X5 will be having a look at and installing the Tekonsha ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness, part number 119250KIT. Now, what I really like about this wiring harness compared to others on the market, is the fact that when we install it, we don't have to worry about cutting or splicing into any of the wiring on our vehicle at all. Plus, another thing I really like about this wiring harness, if I we're to get another vehicle further on down the road, I don't have to worry about buying another wiring harness. I could easily remove this from my vehicle and install it into a new one because there is no cutting or splicing, and it's not vehicle specific. It works with any vehicle out there. This is a zero contact interface. All you have to do is fold these connectors here over the wires that has your signal that you're using. In this case, this is a tail light wire that we're using. more
