Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at installing the Lippert Ground Control TT powered leveling jacks on a 2022 Grand Design Imagine. Now this is gonna be a huge benefit for any of you at campsites that are tired of having to level out your trailer. It cuts into not only setting up the campsite to where your camper's perfectly level, but also having to raise all those jacks up. This can all be done at a touch of a button, and that's where this comes into play. And once you get to your campsite, you unhook your vehicle, you can hit auto level, and it's gonna start doing all the adjustments by itself. So it does take about three minutes or so. more

They're going to adjust from five inches collapsed and this one that I have here on the front is almost collapsed, so when it's fully collapsed it's gonna be about five inches, all the way up to 23 and three quarters inches when fully extended. Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Ultra-Fab 3,500 pound electric A-frame jack with an 18 inch lift. Now this is a easy to use jack, has a nice, fast 12 volt motor here for quick, simple lifting. This 12 volt motor of power jack eliminates the need for any hand cranking. Now when this is hooked up, it'll extend six inches into about 25.3 seconds with a thousand pounds of tongue weight. Total lift on this jack is 18 inches and I do wanna demonstrate the jack, how it lifts. more

Now to alleviate this problem, Lippert's got a great product out. This is the Strong Arm Jack Stabilizer Kit that we installed on our 2021 Grand Design Transcend Xplor. Now this kit is gonna attach to the existing stabilizer jacks on your camper. Lippert JTs Strong Arm 5th Wheel RV Jack Stabilizer Kit Review- Video
Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at the JT's Strong Arm Jack Stabilizer Kit for fifth wheel trailers with more than 58 inches between the landing gear. Now, these are a great way to stabilize jacks because once you're at your campsite and everything's leveled out, you do have a fairly solid landing normally, but as you're walking around in the RV, sometimes you feel that side-to-side movement. And if you guys are having maybe a rowdy time, it is gonna wobble side to side, and this is a great way to really minimize that because it creates a nice triangulation on your front jack arms. You also have the rear ones as well, so this is a total of six bars that's going to attach to a nice solid point on the frame. And they're gonna be telescopic, so as you raise your jacks up, as long as you have your T-handles loosened up, they're gonna draw up with it with no problem. Super easy setup. more

Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2022 Forest River Flagstaff Micro Lite and we're gonna be showing you how to install the Lippert Ground Control TT Automatic Leveling System. Adding this system to your travel trailer is going to make camping so much easier. When you get to the campsite, all you have to do is unhook from your vehicle, chocking your wheels, and push auto level and it will level your camper from front to back and side to side. Now the one thing I will add is that if your tires are to come off the ground with the levelers you really need to put it back down, put a couple of blocks underneath, and then push auto level again and then it can level it out. You're never supposed to have your tires off the ground with any leveling system. more

Review of Bulldog Camper Jacks - Sidewind Jack - BD24FR- Video
Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Bulldog Round Sidewind Tubular Mount Swivel Jack, has a 10 inch lift and a 2,000 pound lift capacity. Now, this is a nice dependable jack, it's an industry standard used for agricultural and commercial applications, this one is ASABE compliant. Does come with the weld-on tubular mounting bracket, comes all assembled you can see. Basically, it uses this convenient spring loaded plunger pin swivel feature, and just to show you what we're talking about, I take out the plunger pin, you can see it's tethered, so you don't lose it, and it is a 1/2 inch diameter plunger pin. But basically, this mount here will be welded onto your trailer, and you can see your jack will go right in here and line up, there's four different holes. more

Hi there, Flagstaff owners. Today in your 2018 Forest River Flagstaff V-Lite, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install Lippert's Ground Control system. All right, so now that we've got everything plugged in, the first thing you probably did was probably hit that auto level button and you probably got a bunch of error messages and that's normal. The system needs to be honed so it knows it's positioning on the jacks before it's gonna operate. So, to hone it, which is a little strange in the instructions. They don't tell you to the kind of in the troubleshooting section. more

So this tripod is going to hold your parked 5th wheel trailer steady at the king pin here, it's gonna help eliminate your front to back and side to side motion of your unhitched trailer or RV. This is going to have a nice, heavy-duty steel construction, so it is going to be capable of supporting up to 5,000 pounds. Your king pin cup here is gonna measure 4 1/2 inches deep by 3 1/4 of an inch across, so it will fit king pins up to 3 1/4 inches in diameter. The expandable base is going to allow us to accommodate different heights, so very easy to spread out those legs if you need this to be shorter. more

FAQ Self Leveling Short- Video
Hey guys today, we're here to talk about the hard truth of self-leveling systems on RVs and campers. Now you may have noticed, or you may have heard from others that your self-leveling system does not work in the way that you would like it to. That's most likely because you're asking it to do more than what it was designed to do. What we have seen is that if your camper is more than an inch or inch and a half off level from side to side, the self-leveling system will throw out a couple of errors saying that it's either out of stroke or that it will just give you a blank error and stop leveling. Well that's because the self-leveling system is not designed to lift your RV off the ground. And that's usually within a three inch from side to side off-level. more

Today, in your 2011 Forest River Flagstaff Travel Trailer, we're going to show you how to replace your tongue jack with the etrailer Electric Tongue Jack, and this is what our jack looks like when it's installed. You can see it's gonna bolt to the same location that the previous jack was in. It's got the standard A-frame attachment. You get new hardware as far as the star washes and washers. So that way ,you can ensure you get good ground contact when you secure your jack. It comes with the wiring that's necessary, and it is fused-protected here on the jack, but it's not a bad idea to have fuse protection back at the battery, 'cause if we get a short between the battery and at this point somewhere, it is possible that you could damage the wiring 'cause the protection's way over here. more

Ultra-Fab 5th Wheel King Pin Tripod Stabilizer Review- Video
Hi, everyone, Adam, with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Ultra Fab fifth-wheel kingpin tripod stabilizer. We do have a couple different options for stabilizing your camper. This one does go up to 62 inches tall. We have another one on our website etrailer.com that only goes up to 50 inches, but all of them are gonna give you that added support whenever you're living in your camper to take away some of that rock and roll that goes on whenever you're inside the camper. So we did disconnect our stabilizer, and as you can see, there is a decent amount of sway and rocking of back and forth. more

Review of Lippert Camper Jacks - Weld On Manual Landing Gear Set With Handle - LC333966- Video
Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today, we're gonna take a look at this Lippert Weld-On Manual Landing Gear Set with handle. Now, this sturdy jack set is specially designed to help you raise, lower, level, and stabilize your trailer or RV, and this is gonna be ideal for 5th wheel trailers and RVs. The cross shaft allows for simple tandem operation, and the length is adjustable from 41 inches to 71 inches to match the width of your trailer, and the 5 inch long by 7 5/16 inch wide foot plates, they're gonna offer stability and will prevent sinking. Now, this is gonna provide a total lift of 37 inches with the travel length at 21 inches, and the drop legs providing an additional 16 inches of lift. Those drop legs will minimize jacking time and help to level the trailer on uneven ground. Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Bulldog 2-Speed Jack. This jack features four inch wide tubing that is constructed of specially engineered alloys to provide strength and stability, so it's going to give us a lift capacity of 10,000 pounds and a static capacity of 12,000 pounds, so it will be ideal for your standard agricultural, construction, and industrial trailer applications. This does have the 2-Speed design, so it's gonna make cranking faster and easier. The sideline crank is sold separately, we have two different options available for you depending on what orientation you need that clevis in, so you can find both of those here at etrailer.com using those part numbers that you see on the screen there. This traditional gearbox is going to require you to push in and pull out on your crank shaft to switch the gear, so you push in for your high gear, for your ultimate speed, which is gonna provide one inch for every nine turns, so it is gonna be the fastest in its weight class, and then you pull out for the low gear, so you get the full lifting power and it's gonna provide nice, smooth, easy ratio of one inch for every 29 turns. more

Hey guys, Kevin with etrailer and today I'll be talking to you about the Lippert 24 inch Scissor Jack. So as you can see our neighbors Stabilizer Jack is just sitting here and spinning. It's not actually activating the gears inside that will force the Scissor Jack down so that we can stabilize our camper. So this actually happens because people come up here and use a impact drill and press on this too hard because the impact drill's gonna be hammering as it's either reversing or tightening up our Scissor Jack. So we wanna make sure that we're actually using the hand crank instead of going ahead and using a drill, even though the drill is going to be a whole lot quicker and easier. So just a little tech tip there for your future use. more

Hey guys, Kevin here with etrailer. And today I'm gonna be showing you how to install the Lippert 24 inch scissor jack here on our 2020 KZ Sportsmen Classic travel trailer. So as you can see, our neighbor's stabilizer jack is just sitting here and spinning. It's not actually activating the gears inside that'll force the scissor jack down so that we can stabilize our camper. This jack is going to mount onto your tailer's A-frame tongue, whether you're wanting to bolt it in place or weld it, we do have the holes here that are spaced three inches apart center to center, so that you could get this mounted in the original bolts if you want to. This does have a lift capacity of 3,500 pounds. We've got the 12-volt motor that's going to power the jack, so you're not gonna have to hand crank anymore. Stallion Stabilizer Jacks Review- Video
Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Stallion Stabilizer Jacks. So this is gonna be a light duty Jack to just stabilize your trailer. So, we have living quarters on the inside of this. And we'll get in there, we're kind of shifting around. If we don't have it hooked up to a ball on our vehicle, that front end is gonna wanna kind of tip up. So these, it's gonna give us a nice little bit of stabilization to where, if it does start to kind of come back a little bit, it's not gonna tip over and it's gonna be great for even some of your lighter utility trailers. more

Hey, everybody. How's it goin' Today we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the MORryde X-Brace Fifth-Wheel Stabilizer System here on a 2018 Jayco Eagle Fifth Wheel. So we mentioned these braces installing in the front of the trailer. Now, the reason that we're gonna be seeking support for the front, because the rear of the trailer is obviously gonna be a little bit more stable. Chances are we already have some jacks back there, whether they're just the scissor-type jacks or the electric-stabilizing jacks, and we also have the axles and wheels to rest on. So there's definitely gonna be a lot more support at the rear of the trailer than there is at the front. more
