TorkLift Rear Frame Mounted Camper Tie Downs Installation - 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 3500

Today on our 2014 Chevy Silverado 3500, we'll be installing the TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs for the rear of the vehicle, part #TLC3212. To begin our install, we'll first go ahead and locate the two pre-drilled holes in the bottom of the Lee Spring bracket. The other two attachment points will be here in the side of the frame, re-utilizing the manufacturer's bolts. To being our install, we'll first go ahead and put our hardware in place for our lower attachment points. Using the bolt leader provided with our install kit, we'll go ahead and feed it through the attachment point and out the access hole in the inside of the frame. There, we'll install a bolt, serrated washer, and wedge block. Now let's go ahead and feed the bolt and hardware into the frame and pull it into position. Once we pull it down through the attachment point, we'll remove the bolt leader. You can also use the 7/16 bolt leader, part #80103-1. We'll go and take the new bolt leader, feed it through our second attachment point here at the outside of our coil spring bracket and feed it towards the outside access hole. more
