The E-Trailer locking cable is gonna be a very versatile cable that is gonna be long enough for four bikes, and the nice thing about the length, which is 10 foot, we have plenty of room to loop through not only our bikes, but we can go all the way down to the hitch too. So a big thing with some of these bike racks is some of them come with locks for the rack and some come with locks for the bikes, but some don't even come with any. So having one cable can do all of that. One thing that really makes ours a little bit different than some of the others is you can get it key to if you have other E-Trailer locks like this one for your cargo carrier, something like that. Now the one end with our lock core is going to install into the T-track on our roof rack system. So we'll have this nut plate that's going to slide into that T-track. Malone Cable Locks - Bike Lock - MPG2171 Review- Video

Today we're going to be look at the Malone Loop Locks Cable Lock. This unit provides a fast and economical way to add a layer of security to prevent bike theft. The locking bracket can be attached to any inch and a quarter diameter tubing on your bike rack, and then the cable is designed to loop around the bike rack. It has a loop in, you run that cable through, secure it around a portion of the bike rack, and then wrap the free end through the bikes, and then simply insert this end right here into the locked housing. Move it to a locked position, and now all of your bikes are going to be locked to your rack. Another neat thing I like about it is when that tab is inserted into the lock housing, it actually covers up the installation bolt. The installation bolt is designed to tighten the bracket around a piece of the tubing of the bike rack. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Malone loop locks cable lock. This unit provides a fast and economical way to add a layer of security to prevent bike theft. The locking bracket can be attached to any one inch diameter tubing on your bike rack. Then the cable is designed to loop around the bike rack, so it simply has a looped in on one end of the cable, locking tab on the other. Place the locking tab through, pull out the slack, so this would secure around a portion of your bike rack. Run the cable through your bicycles right here into that lock housing and then it's locked. It's a really nice, easy to use design. more
