Now, when it comes to this type of thing, the first thing I wonder is, is it gonna work with my particular application and do what it is intended to do So today, we will find out just that. So the whole point of these is to help get your boat directly centered on the trailer exactly how you want it. Now, one of the issues that I run into and I'm sure a lot of other people do is being able to do that, especially right on the first shot, especially when you're by yourself. I go out a lot by myself and I run in pretty heavy current I know wind, you know, really, really messes that up. more

Now why would you need Guide-On's If you have a boat of any size really, especially one this size which I have personal experience with and you're trying to put it on the trailer whether you're on the river or you get a large crosswinds, until you get the front of the boat on the trailer where the back will not move crosswind or the river is actually gonna move the back of the boat so it's hard to get it straight on the trailer. That's where the Guide-On's come on or come into play. Once you get the nose of the boat up to the Guide-On's it's not gonna allow the back of the boat to swing out. more

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a brief look at the CE Smith Left Front or Right Rear Steel Step for your trailer fender. This step is going to give you easy access to the bed of your trailer from the side, and it's going to bolt or weld on to the front of your driver's side fender or the rear of your passenger's side fender, or you can weld it to your frame. This non-slip step features this dimpled design, it's gonna give you just that extra bit of traction, and so, you're not gonna have to worry about easily slipping off of this step, especially in wet weather or snowy weather. It's not gonna give you a full step surface, but just enough for your foot to get on there and to lift you up just enough to give you that access that you we're looking for in your trailer. This is made in the USA of a sturdy 11-gauge steel, and it can be primed and painted to match your trailer. Let me go ahead and pull out my ruler here and just give you some overall dimensions. more

Review of CE Smith Boat Trailer Parts - Panel Bracket For 8" Boat Trailer Rollers - CE10303G- Video
Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today, we're gonna take a brief look at the CE Smith Galvanized Steel Panel Bracket for eight inch boat trailer rollers. Now, typically installed upright on the crossmembers of a boat trailer, panel brackets hold keel and spool rollers that help to keep the boat moving while it is being loaded and to stabilize the keel. This one piece panel bracket is going to brace an eight inch roller on your boat trailer to help you easily load and transport your boat, and it will bolt to your trailer's frame, but it is important to note that this does not include mounting hardware, so if you don't have that already, that is something that you would have to purchase separately. This is made in the USA of 11-gauge galvanized steel, it's gonna resist rust and corrosion, and as you can see here, there are six gussets, three on each side, that are going to provide extra strength by stiffening the bends. The slotted mounting holes are going to allow you to adjust the position during installation. By the way, galvanized steel parts are hot-dipped in zinc after being stamped, this creates a coating that is typically three millimeters to five millimeters thick, and this thick all around coating is going to allow galvanized steel products to provide years of use without rusting or corroding, so this is gonna be suitable for saltwater exposure. more

While you are loading a boat on kayak trailers, these brackets are mounted to the trailer's frame and support bunk boards that run across the trailer. This rust resistant bolster bracket help support one bunk board on your boat trailer when used with a swivel bracket. Two brackets are required per bunk board, so an additional bracket would be sold separately, and the dimpled surface helps prevent the bracket from sliding along the trailer's frame, and these mounting slots permit as much as 3 3/4 of an inch of height adjustment during installation. more

Now, this part here will replace one wobble or rocker roller on your roller bunk assembly of your boat trailer. Basically, this wobble roller will fit the curvature of the hull of your boat and carry approximately about 40% of the weight of the boat. When you do install this, this roller is held in place with retainer rings. Endcaps easily install on the same brackets that your keel, spool, or bow rollers are mounted to, you just attach each endcap to the shaft on the outside of the roller bracket, and then secure the endcap in place with a cap nut or a pal nut, and not only do the endcaps provide more surface area for better boat-to-trailer contact, but they also help to keep your boat from being scratched by sharp bracket edges. Now, this is made in the USA of thermal-plasticized rubber, also known as TPR, it's non-marking, non-scratching material that is stronger and more durable than traditional rubber and softer and more pliant than polyurethane. This is designed for a half inch diameter shaft, and let me retrieve my ruler here and just give you some overall dimensions. The diameter here is sitting right at 2 3/4 inches, and then the width, we're sitting right at an inch wide. These bunk board style guide-ons are going to allow you to easily load your pontoon boat on your trailer. They support your pontoon boat and keep it centered while you are loading it on your trailer. The boards are covered with marine-grade carpet that won't scratch your boat, and their height can be installed higher or lower along the post, providing a good fit for your boat. The support post clamp onto the top of your channel, box-beam, or I-beam trailer frame, and the mounting brackets allow you to adjust the distance between the post. Now this steel fender step creates a sturdy step that provides easy access to the bed of your trailer from the side. This will bolt to your trailer's fender or your trailer's frame and mounting the fender step is easy. To mount this step to your trailer's frame, you would just use these mounting slots on the top. These are 2 15/16 inches long by 9/16 of an inch wide. You just attach the step with a 9/16 of an inch or half inch in diameter U-bolt and the slots will allow for the U-bolt of varying sizes, so you can use the step on a trailer with a narrow frame or a wide frame. more

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a look at the CE Smith Light Duty Galvanized Steel Vertical Bunk Bracket. Typically mounted upright on a boat trailer's crossmembers, vertical bunk brackets allow you to mount a bunk board on its skinny side and run the board from the front of the trailer to the back, and on kayak trailers, these brackets are mounted to the trailer's frame and support bunk boards that run across the trailer. This light-duty, rust-resistant bracket will let you mount a bunk board on its side and enable the board to pivot during loading. This is ideal for two by four or two by six bunk boards on small craft trailers. Now, two brackets are required per bunk board, and additional brackets are sold separately. Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this CE Smith Galvanized Steel Panel Bracket for 12 inch boat trailer rollers. Now, this one-piece panel bracket will support a 12 inch roller on your boat trailer to help you easily load or transport your boat. Typically, these are installed upright on the crossmembers of a boat trailer, the panel brackets are designed to hold either keel or spool roller that'll help keep the boat moving while it's being loaded, and also, to help stabilize the keel. This part here is designed to bolt to your trailer's frame. Now, the mounting hardware to install this is not included, and it is designed to accept a 13 inch long shaft that has a 5/8 inch diameter, this roller shaft is what'll fit into these holes here, and in your roller, a 12 inch roller is what'll go in here. more
