Trimax Non-Coiled Resettable Combination Lock Review- Video
Trimax cable lock is pretty awesome. Why Well, because it is designed to store away so you can use it while you're riding your bike. Not only is it gonna lock up your bike but it's also going to give it a nice little storage area to where you don't have to put it in a backpack or even need a backpack to store it. It just has a nice little bracket right there. You just take it off, wrap it around however you want and then you can go right back to it. And the cool thing about this one is you don't need a key. more

Hey everybody, how's it going Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Saris Cable Lock. So our cable lock here is gonna have many different purposes. The primary one, however, is more than likely gonna be to secure your bikes. So if you have some of the lower-end range or the middle-end range of a bike racks on the market chances are it doesn't come with any sort of security or locking mechanism, and we don't want someone to come up and just steal our bikes off our rack. Therefore, we need a way to secure our bikes to that rack, and that's where our cable lock comes into play. So the length of our cable here is gonna be eight foot. more

Trimax Disc U-Lock Review- Video
Let's take a look at the Trimax Ultra Max Security Disc U lock for your motorcycles. So this can be used just like this to wrap around your rotors on your brakes but you can also use it with some looped cables. I don't really think the cables are gonna add a whole lot more security. It might be a little bit more of a visual for the people who are trying to steal your stuff but this is gonna do a pretty good job. So what you do is you just take it, put it around your rotor and we can lock it into place like that. So then as this wheel starts to turn it's eventually just gonna hit our caliper. more

Trimax Disc U-Lock Review TMX79ZR- Video
What's up, everybody Today we're gonna be securing this motorcycle with the TRIMAX U-Lock. This is gonna be great for your discs on your wheels. This can also be used with a cable lock, but I think the best way to do it is just to connect it to your disc. The span between this is an inch and five eighths in this gap, so what I'm using it for, I'm going around my disc right here. I'm taking the rest of it and locking that into place. Once it's nice and tight, and it's gonna be pretty tough to get anything back there. more

This has been designed to fit a couple of different applications. Right now we're using it for the extension piece of our Sport Rider-SE 2 Platform Rack, which'll be good for either the cargo carrier or the two bike add-on.Basically, when you get this platform rack, it's going to come with just a standard pin and clip. This is going to provide you a lock so that no one can just come up and take off your extension. So if you've got some nice gear in the cargo carrier or a couple of nice bikes, but they're not locked to the main part of your carrier, your carrier might be locked to your vehicle, but that pin will be able to be taken off and then they could take that part of the rack off. more

Today we're going to take a quick look at the Cable Locks and Hitch Locks for RockyMounts WestSlope 2-Bike Rack. This is going to allow you to secure your bikes to your bike rack.Basically, this is just a cable lock that you're going to run through your bikes and then bring this large washer portion through. There's a little node, a little knob that sticks off of the platform that you'll slide this onto and then pop the lock on the end, and that will lock your cable in place. There's a matching lock that's going to go on the end of your hitch pin that came with the WestSlope too. So, these are both going to be pretty much the same lock cylinder. We'll have our two keys, they're keyed alike so it doesn't really matter which one we put where. more

Today we're going to take a quick look at Kuat Cable Lock and Hitch Lock for the Kuat Transfer.Now, this is going to upgrade your transfer so that you can actually lock your bikes in place. It's going to just be a single lock for one bike. This is going to attach to the end of the upright arm that comes off of your transfer. It just attaches into the end of that arm. There's a little hole that goes through the locking mechanism here, and that's what's actually going to attach to that end piece. Kuat Transfer Cable Locks and Hitch Lock Review- Video
Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at, and showing you how to install, the Cable Locks and Hitch Lock for the Kuat Transfer 2 Bike Rack, part number PTSCLK12. Now it's also available for the Kuat Transfer 3 Bike Rack, using part number PTSCLK13.So our Kuat Transfer 2 Bike Rack is a nice bike rack, but out of the box it doesn't provide us with a whole lot of security. A passerby could simply just release the strap back here, come up remove the wheel hook, and our bike could be going in a matter of seconds.Now the same thing could be said for the entire bike rack itself. They could simply just pull the pin and clip, and if they had a wrench, they could pull this bolt out and take the whole thing with them.When it comes time to lock your bike up, we can simply pull the cable out and then take this large silver piece, and we're going to slide it down so that we have the free end of the cable is out. Then I'm just going to wrap the cable around the frame of my bike, and if we look there's going to be a hole on that large silver part, and that's where the end of the cable is going to go right back into. That way the cable's going to be wrapped nicely around the frame, and nobody's going to be able to pull it off.And each bike is going to have their own locks, they're going to lock independently from each other rather than having a large cable going around all the bikes, which is going to be nice if you only have one bike on there at a time.The cables are made of a durable steel, with a nice coating on them. more

RockyMounts Shackleton Combination U-Lock with Mounting Bracket Review- Video
Speaker 1: Today, we'll be taking a look at the RockyMounts Shackleton Combination U-Lock with mounting bracket part number RKY3510. The RockyMounts Shackleton is great for preventing theft from your bikes by chaining them to poles or fences or things like that. It does come with a programmable lock, so you can put whatever combination that is most comfortable for you, and it's also made from a case hardened steel which is very hard to cut through.It has a spring loaded catch here so when you push it in it makes it easy to engage and disengage. It also has a rubberized coating on it and this is to help prevent rust and corrosion for the locks but also prevents scratches or scuffs getting on it as well.Plus another nice feature about this, it does have a mount to it, so when you put it in place it's ready to go with you and it's ready to be used.Now, RockyMounts has classified this as security level five, which is perfect for universities and parking lots.I'd like to give you a couple of quick measurements here. From the top of the U to the bottom, that's gonna be six and 11/16 inches tall. In between, inside the U, is gonna be three and three-quarter inches wide. more
