Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Tow-Rax Aluminum Battery Box. Now, this battery box will let you safeguard your battery from the elements, helps protect your trailer or your work area should the battery leak. It is designed to fit most Group 24 and Group 34 size batteries, but it also can be used as just a storage box for a variety of items. Now, it will include everything shown here on the table, it includes the battery box itself with the lid, it includes the battery hold-down with the threaded rods and the hardware for installation, comes with the lid latches with the hardware for installation, and over here you can see it comes with a 90 degree elbow and a PVC vent hose on it, I'm gonna show you where all these pieces go in a minute here, and it comes with the two rubber grommets. We'll start with the latches, but if you look on each side, you'll see a notch up here and then two holes here. more

Deka Battery Box Installation - Enclosed Trailer- Video
Hey guys, Kevin here with etrailer, and today, I'm gonna be showing you how to install the Deka Vented Battery Box here on our enclosed work trailer. The installation of this battery box is fairly simple, honestly, the hardest part really is just going to be hooking up to your battery, in this case, just because we we're rolling off of our breakaway battery, instead, just finding the wires, which even then, that only took a couple of minutes to really trace out. So all in all very simple install, you can easily do this yourself. To start off our installation, we're gonna find the right spot where we wanna place our battery box. We have our breakaway battery right here, so I wanna make sure that I'm not gonna come into contact with that, I wanna be able to easily open that lid if I need to get in there. So right here, kind of where I have it is how I'm going to place it, I'm gonna take some self-tapping screws, I'm gonna shoot two in on this side, one in on this side, and I'll see if I can really get one into this corner of the box down in there too, but with three of them, we'd be more than good. more

Hey guys, Kevin here with etrailer, and today we're gonna be showing you how to install the NOCO Snap-Top Battery Box on our enclosed trailer build. So while you're going out, traveling around, going camping, something like that, you're gonna make sure that your battery, if it is located outside on your trailer, especially on the trailer tongue, that it is protected from the elements. You don't want it sitting there, rusting away, getting any buildup on the terminals and then losing power, losing your connection to inside and then not being able to power anything. So what this box is gonna do is protect your battery. It is impact-resistant so that you don't have to worry about rocks or anything else while you're on the highway coming up and smacking it and breaking through and hitting your battery and damaging it. It is UV-resistant, so you're not gonna see this fade out right away. more

Hi there RV camper and boat owners. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at NOCO's line of their marine-grade commercial battery boxes. These are available in different sizes, so you can get the appropriate one that's going to match your particular battery or multiple batteries if you've got a battery bank. This is an extra heavy duty battery box that is designed more for commercial use for RVs, campers, boats, things that have a lot of oscillation around 'cause your battery in here, you can keep it strapped down but in a weaker box, it could eventually crack or make its way loose from the case. Something like this is a much heavier duty container that's going to hold our battery, ensure that it stays in place, and it provides a good dampening box for our battery to rest in 'cause we don't want any of those forces to transfer from the road through our trailer into our battery, potentially causing it to crack and leak. And this bracket right here that the box sits on can be installed on either side of the truck. Basically this section here is what will fit into a rectangular opening on either side of your vehicle's frame.So this will let you add a battery that ties into your truck's electrical charging system. more

Today we're gonna look at the TorkLift PowerArmor Solar Single Locking Battery Box. This is gonna be a great option for your enclosed trailer, marine trailer, really any time where you're gonna have your batteries mounted onto your trailer and you need to keep them secure. Not only is it gonna keep our batteries from being messed with, but it also is going to provide a solar panel on the top of our box to keep our batteries charged while we're traveling. This is going to maintain that charge to boost the life of our batteries, and it also helps to bring our batteries back from about 50% life. So if they're depleted pretty far down to about that 50% mark, we can bring them back to a full charge with our solar panel. That is permanently mounted to the top of our lid here. more

It is also available for group 27 batteries as part number PH13035 and available for six volt golf cart batteries as part number PH13228. Here's what our Powerhouse battery box looks like installed. The Powerhouse battery box is an ideal solution for securing and protecting your battery on your camper, your trailer, or your boat. It is a strap style design to help secure the lid, the battery inside, and the bottom of the box, making it a simple and easy way to remove your battery to charge it, or to replace it. The vented design of our battery box will allow potentially explosive battery gases to escape. The poly propylene plastic construction of our battery box will resist corrosion from rain, battery acid, and salt water. It meets the Coast Guard specification 183.420 making it certified for marine use. One nice feature about the lid on our battery box is that it has a cutout on each side, which corresponds to the positive and negative posts on the battery, so you can run your cables out nice and easily, and cleanly. Tow-Rax Polished Aluminum Battery Box Review- Video
Today on our car hauler, we're going to be installing the Tow-Rax Battery Box in a Polished Aluminum in a 14 inch long, 9 inch wide, by 10 3/4 inches tall. Part number TWSP14BP. Here's what our Tow-Rax Polished Battery Box looks like. You will notice that there is a blue coating on it for now and that's just to protect it and keep it from getting scratch. Once we get our installation complete, we'll finish removing that covering so that we don't have any scratches during the installation. We're going to be mounting our battery box here on the tongue of our car hauler trailer. We're going to first need to choose the location as well get it centered here on the tongue. It does come with all the hardware that you will need to mount the box to the trailer itself. more
