Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the Roadmaster direct-connect base plate on a 2023 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Now when it comes to flat towing your Jeep, there are five main components that are gonna be required and these are gonna be the basic components you need, just to get your vehicle down the road. And the first one is gonna be the base plate. The base plate is gonna be attached to the frame of the vehicle and create our connection point to our tow bar. And that's gonna be our second component, which is the physical connection point between the base plate and the hitch on the RV. Now, on the base plate, you have a few attachment points as well. more

Well neighbor, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at installing the etrailer Invisible Base Plate on a 2023 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. And there are five required components for flat towing your Jeep and the first one is going to be the base plate. That attaches to the frame in the vehicle and creates a structural mounting point for the rest of your components but also it's the connection point for our tow bar. And the tow bar is simply the connecting point between the base plate and the hitch on the RV, so it's actually what's towing the vehicle. You also have safety cables just as you would a trailer, and that's just in case of an accidental disconnect, it's gonna hold everything together. You also have your braking system breakaway switch, so in case of a unlikely but catastrophic disconnect, it's gonna pull the cable, putting the brakes on the vehicle, bringing it to a slow or stop. more

Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2023 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we're gonna be showing you how to install the Blue Ox base plate kit. But before we get into that, let's just take a couple of minutes, check this out and make sure it's gonna be right for you. So before we jump right in, I figured it'd be useful just to kind of refresh ourselves and touch base on the main parts that we're gonna need to flat tow our Jeep down the road in the first place, and there's gonna be a total of five.
