Roadmaster Adapter for Jeep D-Ring Bumper Mounts Installation - 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited- Video
Hey everyone Shane here at etrailer.com. Today I have a 2020 Jeep Wrangler unlimited, and I had it has an off-road bumper on it. We're going to be showing you how to install the D-ring adapters for a roadmaster tow bar. D-ring adapters are going to be designed for bumpers like this; off-road bumpers. One thing to keep in mind is if you have an off-road bumper with D-rings on it, you need to contact the manufacturer make sure that the bumper is capable of towing. Because not all of them that have D-rings are capable of flat towing the vehicle behind our motor home, or being used to flat tow the vehicle. more

And this is what our base plate looks like when it's installed. It has a textured black finish on it, and it is a little bit more visible than some of the competitors like Roadmaster or Blue Ox. But on our Jeep here, I actually kind of like it. It gives it a more aggressive look. more

How's it going Clayton here at etrailer.com, and today we'll be taking a look at and I'll show you how to install the etrailer base plate kit on our 2020 Jeep Wrangler.So our base plate is one of the key components in our flat tow setup. This is going to be the main attachment point from our tow bar and our RV to our vehicle. Our main components are going to be our base plate, our tow bar, our safety chains, our supplemental braking system, and our smart diode wiring.So our base plate kit is going to come in a nice black powder coat finish. This is going to resist rust and corrosion very well over time. Our kit is also going to come with a nice bracket that's finished in the same black powder coat finish, and we can mount our wiring and our breakaway switch to that.One of my personal favorite features of this base plate kit is how nice it looks under the front of our Jeep. more

You see here we have our other components hooked up. Our base plate, when we're not hooked up, you can see it, maintains a nice clean look on the front of the vehicle.
