So there's gonna be a total of five main components needed to flat tow your Wrangler down the road safely. First one's gonna be the base plate and that's gonna provide us with a solid and reliable connection point. That way we can hook our tow bar up to it. Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit Installation - 2007 Jeep Wrangler- Video
Hi there, Jeep owners. Today in your 2007 Jeep Wrangler, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install Roadmaster's Direct-Connect Base Plate. Most of our components are gonna be hidden behind our bumper and the rock guard that's located here with just our attachments sticking out the front. We do have the arms currently inserted and this is what you'll use to hook to your motor home. These arms are removable. They're secured with a hitch pinning clip just a five inch pin. more

Roadmaster XL Base Plate Kit Installation - 2007 Jeep Wrangler- Video
Today on our 2007 Jeep Wrangler we're going to be taking a look at and I'm going to show you how to install the Roadmaster XL Base Plate Kit with Removable Arms, part number 1429-1. This is what our base plate's going to look like when it's installed. It's going to be one of five main components in a flat tow setup. The other four are going to be your tow bar, your safety cables, your braking system, and your wiring.This base plate is going to be compatible with all Roadmaster tow bars, and quick disconnects. It's going to have removable arms. We simply match up the holes, slide your arm into place, a standard 5/8th pin and clip, slide it in, insert your pin, and your tad is looked into place. more
