Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the best base plate options for your 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee. A base plate is going to be what you're going to connect your tow bar to so we can safely and securely flat tow our Jeep Grand Cherokee down the road. We're going to have a few different options. On the end here we're going to have our Roadmaster EZ5 or Direct-Connect base plate. In the middle here we'll have the Blue Ox, which is going to have removable arms. Today on our 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee we're going to show you how to install the Blue Ox base plate kit with removable arms. This part number is BX1128. All right, now this is what the base plate looks like once we have it installed on the vehicle. As you can see, it's pretty unassuming. Not a whole lot of extra stuff that we're going to see here on the front. Basically, it's either going to replace your tow hook or it's going to replace the tow hook cover that would've been in place there. Now these are supplied with black covers. more
