Connor: Hey everyone. Connor here today at etrailer.com. We're going to be taking a look at the etrailer invisible base plate kit here for our 2020 Jeep Cherokee. So here is what our base plate kit is going to look like while it's installed on the vehicle and we don't have an attached to the motor home here. As we can see, it has a super nice factory clean finish like install look. It's just barely going to protrude from the bumper facia here and the majority of it is going to insert through where our factory tow hooks were, which means there's going to be very minor modifications needed to install this.So right now, as we said, we have it in the configuration that we would just be driving around town. more

Today on your 2020 Jeep Cherokee, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Blue Ox's base plate.There's five main components you'll need when flat towing your vehicle behind your motor home. You'll need your tow bar, which is the connection between your motor home and your vehicle. You'll need your safety cables, which is a supplemental connection in addition to your tow bar. You'll also need your base plate, which provides the connection point on your vehicle for your tow bar to attach to. You'll need your diode wiring, which will take all the lighting signals from your motor home, transfer them to your vehicle and illuminate the lights at the back of the vehicle so people know your intentions when going down the road. more

Ryan: Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at your best flat tow setup for your 2020 Jeep Cherokee. So there's going to be a total of five main components that we need to flat tow our Jeep down the road. The first one's going to be the baseplate. The baseplate is going to provide us with a solid connection point to hook up one of our other main components to which is the tow bar. So the tow bar will go from the front of the Jeep to the back of the motor home, and this is really going to be the actual connection holding the two together.The third component will be safety cables. more
