Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at our best flat tow setup options for your 2013 Chevrolet Sonic. So there's gonna be a total of five main components needed to flat tow your Sonic down the road. First one's going to be a base plate and that's gonna provide us with a solid and reliable connection point. That way we can hook our tow bar up to it. Tow bar is gonna be at second component and that's gonna be the physical link that connects the front of your Chevy to the back of your motor home. more

Blue Ox Base Plate Kit Installation - 2013 Chevrolet Sonic- Video
Today, on our 2013 Chevrolet Sonic, we'll be having a look at and installing the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit With Removable Arms, part number BX1703. All right. Here's what it looks like installed. As you can see, with our removable arms out of the base plate, we have a very nice and clean look on the front of our vehicle. The only part that sticks out past our license plate frame here is the safety chain attachment points that will go between our motor home and our Sonic. Now, when we're ready to flat tow, we can take our arms, we'll put them in at a 90 degree angle where the arm is horizontal here on the tab. more
