Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System Installation - 2023 Toyota Tacoma- Video
Hello neighbor, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the Airlift WirelessONE EZ Mount Air Compressor with Bluetooth capabilities on a 2023 Toyota Tacoma. Adding airbags to a Tacoma is definitely a great upgrade if you're doing any overlaying and you have a bunch of equipment in the back or if you're towing trailers, this is really gonna translate much better overall to be able to really support the suspension without having the truck squat down. But the downside with airbags is you have generally a manual fill valve where you have to fill that up with a compressor either at home or out on the road. You'll need either a portable compressor or stop at a gas station and you can eliminate all of that by getting on onboard air, and that's what we've done here with our compressor. And this system is actually really easy to put in place. If you install the airbags yourself, this is gonna be a cakewalk And a lot of that comes down to the fact that it's all super easy to not only mount up. more

Adding airbags to any truck is a great way to really get the sag out of your truck while towing. It's also going to help with just overall drivability and reduce the strain of that weight on your suspension. But with airbags, a lot of times they're gonna be set up to where they're a manual inflation, meaning you have a Schrader valve that you'll have to take a compressor and fill that up. So if you're at home, that's generally not a problem. But when you're out on the road hauling stuff, finding the gas station where you can actually fill this up, that does get a little bit tricky. more

Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2022 Ford F250 and we're gonna be taking a look at, and I'm gonna show you how to install, the Air Lift WirelessONE suspension system for air helper springs. Now, adding air helper springs to the back of your truck is very, very useful to level out the back of your truck when you're hauling a heavy load. But having to add and subtract air can be a challenge if you don't have an onboard air compressor. This system that we installed today is not only a very, very powerful air compressor that is rated for 200 PSI, it will also have an air tank onboard so that it will add and subtract air to your bags very quickly and you don't have to wait for them to pump up because the air tank is just gonna deliver it. The last component in it is going to be the manifold, which is actually going to direct that air pressure wherever you need it. more

This system is really nice. It comes with the easy-mount bracket for your compressor, but also with Bluetooth, which means you can use this to control the airbags at just the push of a button from inside your vehicle, or you can use your phone via an app to be able to control those airbags. This is what our compressor looks like when it's installed and overall, it's super clean. From the side profile of the truck, you really can't see anything, especially with the side steps that we have. Our running boards pretty much block all of it and it's nice and protected. more

This is an onboard air compressor that's designed to be paired with a set of airbags that you put on the back axle to help you to add and subtract air from the bags when you're hauling different loads down the road. I'd say the biggest thing that separates this compressor from a lot of other compressors on the market is gonna be that it has a dual path design, so you can air up each airbag individually. So if you have a rigging truck or if you have an uneven load in the bed of the truck you can air up one side more than the other. Another thing that this is gonna help with is sway control. more

This compressor is gonna be designed to help inflate and deflate your airbag so that you don't have to find an air compressor or use a bike pump in order to adjust them. It'll come with a remote with at a click of a button you can inflate and deflate your airbags. This air compressor will have a 100 PSI rating, so it can air your airbags up to 100 PSI. I will say with my experience with airbags, the compressor works pretty fast on the lower end of the spectrum, but once you get past I'd say probably 45 or 50 PSI, it's going to take much longer to get to a higher rating. more

Adding an onboard air compressor to your vehicle is going to allow you to inflate and deflate your airbags on the back end of your truck with the push of a button. Airbags are a very, very nice accessory to have, but they can kind of be a pain if you have to constantly find an air compressor or try to take a guess of how much air pressure you're going to need, if you're going to pick up material or anything like that. An air compressor on board is going to give you the ability to change it as you need it. I had an air compressor on my truck paired with my airbags and what I found myself doing was is I would kind of over guess how much air I would need. Say I'd put 35 pounds in my bags, and I'd get a load of dirt or a load of rock in the back of my truck or load it on a trailer and then I found out I didn't need 35 pounds. more

Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the Air Lift WirelessONE Bluetooth Air Compressor for rear air helper bags on a 2019 Chevy Silverado 1500 LD. Now if you have airbags on your truck and you're tired of having to fill it up manually, either with the compressor at home, or having to stop at a gas station and maybe even paying for air, well, adding a compressor is a great option and I think this is one of my favorites because installation's super easy. You do need to have your airbags installed, obviously, for this to work, but once it's installed, you can actually control this from your phone or a nice little controller that can live inside your vehicle and that means no more having to get out to fill up the truck. You can simply do this on the fly from the comfort of your truck and finally tune it exactly how you want it. Now this system is gonna be designed for a single path, which I tend to prefer anyway, and that just simply means that it's gonna, when you fill it up, it's gonna go to both bags. You don't have individual control of either of them. more

I personally have owned a truck that had airbags on it and did not have an onboard air compressor, and I can tell you using the airbags was a pain in the butt. You have to go to a gas station or find an air pump to be able to air up your bags when you're hauling a load. And a lot of times I would do side jobs, landscape jobs, for different people that I knew and I would either have to decide do I want to put 70 pounds in my bags and be incredibly uncomfortable driving to my destination to pick up a load of rock, or do I want to drive there, pick up the rock, and then figure out to find a place to be able to air up my bags. more

One of my favorite things about it is the fact that it is wireless, right So you have your remote and we're in our garage right now, but if you we're to be loaded up to your trailer or anything, you could take a step back, see how the truck looks like it's squatting, crank up that pressure. But before we get into that, why don't we just take a minute, check this out, and make sure it's gonna work for you One of my favorite parts about this setup is the fact that it is wireless, right So you have this remote that you can use to make your adjustments. So whenever you're hooked up to your trailer, you got your heavy stuff in the bed of the truck, and you realize it's squatting down and you need to add some air, all you're gonna have to do is, you know, dial it up to whatever pressure you see appropriate. You can kinda watch it do its thing and make sure it's leveled. more

So, you can control your compressor with your remote, right And so, say, if you're hooked up to your trailer or you need to make an adjustment, you don't have to keep grabbing an air hose and manually filling up your valves and taking a step back and looking to make sure your level or whatnot. You can just take your remote, and it reaches a pretty good distance, too, and set the air pressure accordingly. more

Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Air Lift Load Controller Standard Duty Dual Path Air Spring Compressor System. This is gonna be a great setup for your light and medium duty applications, those of you who are doing occasional hauling or towing, this is going to eliminate the need to find air along the side of the road at gas stations and that sort of thing to make sure that you have enough air pressure in your air bags, this will provide the compressor on your vehicle, so that you can always add air if you need to, make sure that you're keeping enough air in the bag, so that they're not gonna be damaged. This system is also a dual path compressor, so it is going to allow you to still retain that functionality of airing up your bags independently, side to side, so that if you have off centered loads, you can add more air to that bag, so it is going to be a really nice option, a lot of the compressor systems out there are a single path, so you lose that versatility of being able to air up the bags up individually, but this is gonna give you the best of both worlds. So this will work for two air bags or it can be used for two sets or two pairs of air bags, so if you do have a set in the front and a set in the back, you can control those pairs to make sure that you're leveled front to back as well. This will work for all brands of air helper springs, so you're not limited to Air Lift brand springs, it's gonna do a really good job for you. more

What are some of the reasons we will want a compressor system Well, the obvious reason is gonna make it easier to add pressure and decrease pressure from inside of our vehicle. Hey everybody, how's it going Today we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Airlift WirelessAIR air compressor system here on our 2019 Ford F-250. So an air compressor system is gonna be an excellent addition to your F-250 here if one, you have airbags, and two, if you tow or haul frequently or different varying load sizes. Now, the reason in an air compressor system is important when we have multiple trailers and we haul frequently is because it allows you to adjust the air pressure inside your airbag from the flick of a switch inside the cab of our truck. Therefore we don't have to rely on access to an external air compressor whenever we change our loads or hook up a new trailer. It's gonna make everything that much faster and easier. So this is personally my favorite air compressor system on the market, and I know if I talk to a lot of my coworkers here at etrailer, they love this one as well, and the reason for that is two reasons. more

Low air pressure is the chief reason for air spring failure. So, to avoid this, you have to either regularly monitor your air springs or find a device that will do it for you. Air Lift's Load Controller II air control system for light to medium duty vehicles does just that. more

Now, this system is going to let you monitor and automatically adjust the air pressure in your shock absorbers with this onboard compressor that you see here in my hands and this single gauge dash panel without leaving your driver's seat. Now, this is gonna come with universal fittings that will connect to most aftermarket and factory air shocks. And it includes everything that you see here in front of me. more
