Rob: Hey everybody it's Rob here at etrailer.com and today we're going to be taking a look at the PTC custom fit engine air filter on our 2014 Toyota Highlander. Now, if you stick around to the end, we are going to show you how easy it is to get installed but first I'd like to go over some of the features. Now, our PTC engine air filter is going to be a direct replacement filter to the engine air filter on your Highlander. Now, it's going to filter all the air coming into the engine, making sure there's no dirt debris or anything else, but at the same time, it's going to make sure there's adequate airflow so that the engine can run at the optimum performance. So if we don't check or change our air filter, we're going to be robbing ourselves of the fuel economy and the performance that our Highlander can give us.Now, the manufacturer does recommend at least checking it, if not changing it every 12 to about 18,000 miles, but you can double check your owner's manual if you need a more specific time.
