Rob: Hey everybody, it's Rob here at etrailer.com and today we're going to be taking a look at the PTC Custom Engine Air Filter on our 2015 Ford F-150. Now your engine air filter is going to filter out the air before it gets into the engine. It's going to make sure it's nice and clean and that it can go through the combustion chamber and do what it's supposed to do. But if we don't check and service our air filter, we're going to be robbing our engine of the performance and the fuel economy that we want to get out of it. Because once the filter starts to get clogged, that much air can't get through and it won't be able to get into the engine properly and it's going to have to compensate for that, the amount of air and fuel mixture.I understand it is one of those maintenance items a lot of people really don't think about, honestly until we're at the service station, getting our oil changed, something like that.
