Maxtrax Recovery Boards Spare Tire Mount Review- Video
Hi, Matt with etrailer, and today, we're talking about the Spare Tire Mount for your MAXTRAX Recovery Boards. So a reason why you want to go with a spare tire mount for your recovery boards is for a few reasons. Usually people place them on top of their roof if they have a roof platform, but in some cases, some people might not have a roof platform or you don't have a roof platform because like we have today, we have a soft cover. Another reason is if your roof platform is already being used up by other accessories, especially if you have something like a rooftop tent, which is gonna take up a majority of your roof so you won't be able to fit these on top of there. So this is gonna be a great solution to place your recovery boards on your vehicle, so let's check it out. The way this is actually gonna mount to your spare tire, if we take a look at the side here, we're gonna have this ratchet and strap that goes all the way across your tire that's gonna be on top of your tread and where your recovery board sits, we're actually gonna have these rubber gaskets so it's not applying pressure to that sidewall so it won't damage anything. more

Hey, everyone, Ryan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be checking out the etrailer.com tow bar adapter ends. So what these are gonna allow you to do is change out the ends from your etrailer SD or XHD tow bar ends and convert 'em over to these, which will allow you to pair up your tow bar to either a Blue Ox or CURT base plate. It's pretty convenient something like this is available, and there's usually one situation that people find themselves in where they need something like this. And that is they had a vehicle before that they had set up to flat tow and maybe with a different brand of base plate on it. So for example, our neighbor here today used to flat tow a different vehicle and it had a Roadmaster base plate. more

What our Load Stops are really gonna be there for is to prevent our load from shifting around. Now, of course, if we do have these on, it is required that you have a strap too, so we don't have it from sliding forward or back, we need to have that load secured. Another nice thing about these though is you can actually adjust where they sit on your crossbar by just installing them on your channel. more

Hi. Matt with etrailer. And today we're talking about Rhino-Rack's Cable Lock. And this is gonna be designed to work with your HD Rhino-Rack Crossbars. And really this is gonna be something that's designed for if you constantly have a ladder on top of your vehicle and you rarely take it off, or you take it off when you're at the job site. The reason why I recommend this for more permanent uses, or if you constantly have a ladder up here, is because installing this bracket can be kinda lengthy for what it is or opposed to just using a regular cable lock because you're gonna have this bracket that bolts or mounts into here. more

Now, this will upgrade or replace the converter section for your 35 amp Parallax or MagneTek, or the WFCO RV power centers. It is designed to work with the Parallax MagneTek model number 6336 and the WFCO model number 8935. Basically, the power converter with the smart charger converts your AC shore power to DC power to quickly charge your RV's batteries. It will provide continuous power to your DC breaker panel to run 12 volt loads, and it is designed to work with flooded lead acid, AGM, LiFePO4 lithium, and gel batteries. more

Now this is going to replace your ARB awning installation T bolts, nuts and nut caps that I kind of knocked out a line here. You're going to get six M6 by 20 millimeter, stainless steel bolts and then six M6 stainless steel nyloc nuts, and then these six nut caps. Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today, we're taking a look and installing the Roadmaster Combo Kit for towing your flat-towed vehicle on a 2018 Mini Cooper S. Now there's normally five main components that are required for flat towing your vehicle. And we'll start on the vehicle side. The first one's gonna be the base plate, and that's gonna be the attachment point to the solid portion of the frame or bumper beam of the vehicle. And that's where you have your removable arms here that attach to your tow bar. So that's gonna be our second component, the tow bar, which is gonna be the connection point between the base plate of the vehicle and the hitch on the RV. more
