Hi, Matt at etrailer, and today we're gonna be talking about the best trailer wiring options for you in your 2020 Toyota 4Runner. The 4Runner is a more sporty or outdoorsy vehicle, so chances are you're probably gonna want to haul something with it, especially if it has electric brakes or if you want to do some overlanding or some off-roading, and you have some accessories on the back with you that require power. That's gonna be a few reasons why you're gonna need some wiring, and how it's gonna accomplish that. There's gonna be two really common wiring types and that's gonna be your seven pole and your four pole wiring. Now a lot of different 4Runners are gonna have different variations on this, and that's mainly gonna depend on what trim package you have.
