Now here's what our Bakbox 2 looks like installed. As you can see here, even with the tunnel cover completely closed, there's still plenty of room bewteen the top of the box and the bottom of your tunnel cover. Today on our 2005 GMC Sierra, we'll be test fitting the Convert-A-Ball Cushion Weight Distribution Shank for 2 inch hitches, part number AMAC1.Now to begin our test fit, we'll need to get our hitch height measurement. This is the measurement from the top of the receiver tube to the ground. On our vehicle, that measurement is 20 and a half inches. Now keep in mind, that measurement can change due to hitch style, tire size, or any other accessory which may change your vehicles right height. We'll now take the shank of our ball mount, slide it into the hitch lining up the hitch pinholes. We'll then take our pin and clip, slide it through the hitch pinholes, clip it on the other side and secure our ball mount to the vehicle. Now with our ball mount secured, were going to go ahead and use Convert-A-Balls part number BA1. This will allow us to use our weight distribution shank with the standard trailer hitch ball. Now with our ball platform secured to the weight distribution shank, we'll go ahead and give you a measurement. more
