Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Ford F150, we're gonna be installing the base rails for the TracRac SR sliding truck bed ladder racks. These rails are gonna be great for people who wanna get the most out of their truck, so that way you can have the ultimate adjustability up top as well as below in your bed. These rails are gonna run the full length of your bed and have two separate sliding rails for maximum adjustability.If you jump inside the bed, you can loosen up your rails and they slide easily back and forth with just one person. As you can see here, you can adjust it for shorter sized loads up on top. With these sliding rails, we we're able to push our ladder rack all the way back easily, put on our 12 foot ladder, and now we're ready to go. This kit's gonna have everything you need to install it and it's gonna be a no-drill solution that'll go right down into your stake holes and hold it in place.Now, we've got all our components here laid out that we'll need to assemble and install one rail under the vehicle. more

Now, all the break controllers that we're going to look at today are proportional controllers. It's a newer technology available and it really is just a lot better than what the time delayed systems used to be.Basically with the time delayed system, it was pre-programed when your brakes would engage. So, you hit the brake in your vehicle, there might be a pause before the brakes on your trailer actually engage. With the proportional controller, we don't have to worry about that. If we hit our brakes on our truck, our brakes are going to start being applied, and they're going to be applied in proportion to how we're braking in our truck. more

Yakima Roof Rack Review - 2017 Ford F-150 y00146- Video
Today in our 2017 Ford F150, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima round cross bar roof rack system consisting of part number Y00409. These are the 58" cross bars. Part number Y00146. These are the baseline towers for the Yakima cross bars. Part number Y03536, and this is the round bar SL adaptor for the Yakima baseline towers, and part number Y06122, and this is the fit kit for the Ford F150. The Yakima cross bar roof rack system is great for carrying a wide variety of objects on top of your roof while freeing up space inside your truck and truck bed. It can also serve as an extension piece if you have a ladder rack to carry your ladders, your lumber, or whatever it is you're hauling. more
