Today on this 2000 Ford F150 we're going to show you the K Source custom towing mirriors, part number KS81600. Now that we're back up here at our cabin trailer, we'll go ahead and take a look at it. Comparing to our first factory mirror, we know we can our truck and part of our trailer. We can see a lot of it with the factory mirror, however when we take a look at our new towing mirror, we can see all of our trailer plus a little bit behind the trailer as well. We're going to start off on our passenger side mirror installed on our truck; you can see how it looks. On first glance, the mirror looks like it came with the truck. It's all molded, one piece unit that actually snaps over the factory mirror. A towing mirror allows full movement of our factory mirror and our towing mirror is manually adjusted. more

Today on our 2016 Ford F150, we're going to take a look at then show you how install the Longview Custom Towing Mirrors for the driver and passenger side, part number is LVT-2300-C. Here you can see what the field of view extension is going to look like. As you can see, as I step out to the side, you've got me in the factory mirror up until about this point. That's when it's going to switch over to our towing mirror allowing us to see over here, good additional area so maybe we don't have to turn around quite as much to see the trailers are making corners, changing lanes, trying to back up into the camping spot, whatever the case may be. Here's what the Longview Mirrors are going to look like installed. As you can see really nice custom fit right around the edge of that mirror. Matches it perfectly. This allows for full operation of our factory mirror whether it's power or manually adjusted. more

But as I start moving over to the side, you start losing me in that factory mirror and start picking me up in that towing mirror, which can really give us a great advantage to see what our camper is doing behind us, look for any obstacles or anything like that that might come up. The towing mirrors are really a nice, solid addition to really help us as we're heading down the road hauling. This is going to extend our line-of-sight, making our job a little bit easier. It's constructed of a very durable ABS plastic housing. It's a custom-fit mirror, so this is designed specifically for our F-150's mirror. more

With it installed, we can see how this mirror is independent of the factory mirror. It doesn't impede the operation of the factory mirror at all. Today on our 2000 Ford F-150, we'll be installing the SIPA Custom Towing Mirror for the Passenger Side, part number 11602. To begin our installation, we'll going to go ahead and attach the wedge to the mirror. To do this, we'll insert the end of the wedge over a tab located on the inside of the mirror. Okay, with that in place, we'll install our SIPA Towing Mirror by sliding it over our factory mirror as shown. With that we'll go ahead and screw our hand knob into the insert located at the back of the SIPA Mirror. This will secure our towing mirror to our factory mirror. Once it's install, you can see that it works totally independent of the factory mirror. We can move it up and down, left and right and diagonal. That'll complete for our install of the SIPA Towing Mirror for the Passenger Side, part number 11602 for our 2000 Ford F-150. more

It comes with two different style wedges depending on your model and year of your vehicle, will depend on which wedge you use. It also comes with a neoprene section that will slide on or adhere to the wedge that will keep your mirror from being scratched.The CIPA Custom Towing Mirror installs with no tools and simply slides over your factory mirror, you will push the wedge in, again lining it up with the hole and simply insert the threaded knob, tightening it down. Once the knob is tightened down, the mirror cannot be moved and will stay secure to your factory mirrors driving down the road.The CIPA Custom Towing Mirror is manually adjustable, it will not impede the movement of your factory mirror. Today on our 2013 Ford F150, we'll be test fitting the K-Source snap-on custom towing mirrors for the driver and passenger side, part number KS81810. We'll begin our test fit here over on the driver's side. You can see the three hooks here at the top of the K-Source mirror, which will hook and grab onto the top of the manufacturer's mirror and the side here closes to the window. We'll hook them in and simply flip the mirror down, allowing the hooks to grab into the mirror. Once we get it down to the bottom, you can see it will simply snap in place, and the bottom grooves will grip up against the bottom part of the manufacturer's mirror. Now with the K-Source custom towing mirror, you can see that the mirror can adjust up and down, side to side, and diagonal to give you the best view when towing your boat or trailer. more

Today, on our 2005 Ford F150, well be installing the CIPA Custom Towing Mirror, Slip On, for the drivers side, part number 11801. To install your mirror, you can just slide the mirror over the mirror head insert the wedge between the towing mirror and the mirror head. You then align the threaded hole with the molded cup on the back of the wedge and screw the knob through the raised hole on the back of the towing mirror and tighten it down securely. With that done, your mirror is secured. These mirrors will allow you to manually adjust the mirror face and customize your view. Today on our 2010 Ford F150, were going to do a test fit of the Towing Extension Mirrors by CIPA, part number 11801 for the driver side. First, we need to take the two wedges out of our install kit and see which one is going to work best. The wedge is going to fit underneath the towing mirror and act as a brace to hold our mirror extension in place. So as you can see, our curved one is going to work the best as the other one doesnt fit as well. This is how the wedge system works, fit in the pre-form groove of the mirror versus the other style. Now weve determined if this is the wedge we want to use, we need to add a protective cover. more

Today on this 2006 Ford F-150 we will be installing the Longview adjustable towing mirror part number CTM2300-A. The longview towing mirrors are very easy to use and only take a few seconds to install. To install what you need to do is slide the mirror over our existing mirror until it is fully seated. You will see here on the vehicle side we have got a hole. We are going to be using this clip that is provided and all we need to do is take the hook end of the clip and hook it on to the inside of the mirror to where the thread is faced towards the hole in the back side and then we will just take the thumb screw, feed it through the hole and thread it on to the clip. 00:37 more
