Titan Chain Snow Tire Chains Installation - 2015 Ford F-150- Video

Today on our 2015 Ford F-150, we'll be installing the Titan Chain Snow Tire Chains with Cams. These have a ladder pattern with a V-Bar link. They are part number TC2828CAM. Now I just want to point out the tire size on our F-150 that we have today here is 265/70 17. It you have a different tire size equipped on your F-150, you may want to refer to our application guide on our website, as these tire chains may not work for you. Here's what our tire chain looks like as it's laid out on the ground. As you can see, we have this ladder pattern here, which goes across the tread of the tire, and these V-Bar links right here will help dig into the ice and the snow and help give us traction, especially when there's a lot of deep snow or thick ice out there. Now on the outside edge of the tire here, we'll have these cams here, which we'll use to provide a tool to help tighten up the chains, to take out the slack on them. Let's grab our tire chain, making sure the V-Bar pattern is not touching the tread of the tire. more
