So this is going to be able to get four bikes to and from your destination with ease and we're going to have three tie-down points per bike. We're going to have two here up top and an anti-sway cradle at the bottom and what that's going to do, it's going to limit that bike to bike contact that you get when you're going down the road. It is pretty easy to get this bike off the rack so let's just go ahead and do that. You just got to pull these rubber straps out and they are nice and durable but soft as well so you don't have to worry about scratching the frame of your bike when it's nice and strapped down. more

Brian: How's it going Brian here at etrailer.com. Today on our 2019 Kia Sorento, we're going to be taking a look at the Thule Helium Pro two-bike rack. Now we're going to be able to carry a total of two bikes. However, if you need to carry an additional one, there's also a three bike version available as well.Now one thing I kind of like about the rack is that it's going to hold our bike high enough off the ground where we don't have to worry about any damage, but it's not going to be so high that it's going to block our view out of the back of our Kia window. We'll pull on that handle and we can tilt our bike rack away from the trunk, slide in, open up our trunk. As you can see it clears with plenty of space, not contacting our bike. Inno Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2018 Kia Sorento- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Kia Sorento, we're going to be test fitting the Inno Aero Light four bike rack, part number INH640. We already have a bike installed on our rack, let's take a closer look and show off some of our features. Starting out here and working our way in, the first thing we're going to point out is this locking point here. That's going to be for the integrated cable lock that comes with the bike rack, you'll wrap it around the bikes like so, attach it to this point here, and at the end, there's the lock to put it in place, and it does come with two keys.Moving in to our cradles here, these can be moved back and forth and side to side as needed. And the padding here is this nice thick rubber padding to help protect the frame of your bike once it's installed. It'll hold your bike at three points. more

Inno Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2018 Kia Sorento INH620- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Kia Sorento, we're gonna be test fitting the Inno Aero Light two-bike rack, part number INH620. We already have a bike installed on the rack; let's take a closer look and show off some of the features. We're gonna start with the arms here and work our way inward. Starting with this point here, this is gonna be a locking point for the integrated cable lock that comes with the rack and rests in one of the main masts. It'll pull out, wrap around your existing bike frames, and then attach to this point here and lock into place at the end, and it does come with two keys for this.With the cradles, these do adjust back and forth as needed and side to side as needed, and the cradle here has this nice, thick rubber pad, and that's gonna help protect the frame of your bike once it's being installed. It will grip your bike at three points: we're gonna have the two straps up at the top as well as the one off to the side. more

Saris Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2017 Kia Sorento- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Kia Sorento, we're going to be test fitting the Saris Glide EX 4 Bike Rack for 1-1/4" and 2" hitches, part number SA774.Here I have a bike installed on our rack. Let's go ahead and take a closer look here. This is a pretty unique hanging style bike rack in that it can move away from the rear of the vehicle with all four bikes still attached to gain rear hatch access. Normally, you would need a swing out version of bike rack, meaning it swings completely away from the vehicle to get that access and keep all your bikes on there. Otherwise, you'd have to take everything off and tilt it away.It's a very easy process. We have this trigger here. more

We already have a bike installed on the rack, so let's take a closer look and show off some of the features.One of the best features about this bike rack is going to be the fact that it can tilt away from the vehicle with all four bikes still attached. To do that, we'll come to the front and come underneath to this lever here. I would like to point out that it can be a little awkward reaching all the way out here with all four bikes attached, so you may need an extra set of hands to help you do this. So, pull out on that lever, let the bike rack come down, and we'll have full hatch access now.I would like to point out that it's pretty close here when it comes to our handlebars. From the center out we're at about 9", so if you we're to have, say, a mountain bike that sticks out a little bit further, you may make contact with this rear hatch. more

Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2016 Kia Sorento- Video
Today on our 2016 Kia Sorento, we're going to be testing our Kuat NV 2.0 Two-Bike Platform Rack, part number NV22G. Now, one of the really nice features of this bike rack is that it does tilt away without having to remove the bike. Just lift down on that lever, and the bike rack will tilt away giving you full access to the back hatch without ever having to remove the bike. Now, to show you how the bike comes off, you just lift the bike rack back up. You have a tire strap back here. You just push on this button, pull the strap out, and then up here push this button on this bar, move it out of the way, and your bike will come right off. Now, let's take a few measurements to show you a little bit of clearance and what kind of dimensions we're going to be adding to our vehicle. On the back of the vehicle, you're going to be adding about 31" to the total length of the vehicle. more

Today on 2016 Kia Sorento, we're doing a test fit of the Pro Series Q-slot platform style 2- and 4-bike rack. That part number is PS63138. We already have our bike secured down. Saris Freedom SuperClamp Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2014 Kia Sorento- Video
Today on our 2014 Kia Sorento, we're going to be test fitting the Saris Freedom SuperClamp 2-Bike Platform Style Rack 4-1/4" and 2" hitches part number Sa4025. We'll begin our test fit by inserting the shank of the rack into the hitch of our vehicle. With that inserted, we'll go ahead and line up the hitch pinhole. We'll then take the included anti rattle hitch lock and thread that into place. You may have to wiggle your rack around to get it in the right position so that the threads grab on. Once you have that hand tight, you can go ahead and tighten it down the rest of the way with your wrench. This helps to take any extra play out of the shank of the rack. With that tightened, we'll go ahead and snap the lock on to the other side. Now with the rack in this position, the closest point of the rack to the vehicle is going to be right here on the wheel cradle. That measures about 7-1/2" from the rear of the vehicle. The closest point of the ground, to the ground, excuse me, is going to be the shank which measures about 12-1/4". Overall, we've added about 24" to the rear of our vehicle. With the rack in this position, we can easily open our rear hatch to access our cargo area. We'll go ahead and prepare to load our bike. more

Saris Bike Porter Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2014 Kia Sorento- Video
Today, on our 2014 Kia Sorento, we're going to be test fitting the Saris Bike Porter 4 bike rack for 1 1/4 and 2 inch hitches, Part number SA404B. We'll begin our test fit by inserting the shank of the rack onto the receiver hitch of our vehicle. We'll then want to watch to line up the pin holes. Hollywood Racks Traveler Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2014 Kia Sorento- Video
Today on our 2014 Kia Sorento we're going to be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Traveler 5-bike rack, part number HR9200. We'll begin our test fit by inserting the shank of the rack into the hitch of our vehicle. With that inserted, you'll want to watch for the pin holes to line up. You can then take the included anti-rattle hitch bolt and throw that into place. Once you have this hand tight, you can go ahead and tighten it up the rest of the way with your wrench. This helps to take any extra movement out of the shank of our rack. As you can see, we're nice and tight. more

Hollywood Racks Traveler Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2014 Kia Sorento hr8500- Video
Today on our 2014 Kia Sorento were going to be test fitting the Hollywood racks traveler 4 bike rack per inch and 0.25 inch two hitch edges, part number HR8500. Well go ahead and begin our test fit by placing the shank of the rack into the hitch of our vehicle. With that inserted you want to watch for the hitch cam holes to line up. Once you have your hitch cam holes in line, well go ahead and take our anti-rattle hitch bolt and thread that into place. Once you have that hand tight you can go ahead and take you wrench and finish it off. This will also take any extra play out of the shank of the rack. Well then insert our clip on the other side. more

Thule Helium Aero Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Kia Sorento- Video
Today on our 2015 Kia Sorento we're going to be test fitting the Thule Helium Aero. This folding and tilting 2-bike rack has been designed for use in the 1-1/4" or 2" hitches. Its part number is TH9042. To begin our test fit we'll slide the shank of the rack right into the receiver tube of our hitch. We need to hold out on the attached pin on the right side, line up our pinholes, and allow that pin to fall into place. We're then going to tighten the black knob. more

Today on our 2015 Kia Sorento we're going to be test fitting the Thule Vertex. This folding and tilting 4-bike rack has been designed for use with the 1-1/4" or 2" hitches. Its part number is TH9029. To begin our test fit we're going to slide the shank of the rack right into the receiver tube of our hitch. We want to slide it in far enough so that our threaded hole in our rack lines up with the hitch pinhole. We can then thread in our anti-rattle bolt and we'll tighten it down. more

We'll line up one of the two threaded holes that are located here on the passenger side. We're going to use the first one to give us as much clearance as possible. Thule Apex 4 Swing Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2014 Kia Sorento- Video
Today, on our 2014 Kia Sorento, we will be test fitting the Thule Apex Swing, a swinging 4-bike rack for 2-inch hitches, part number TH9027. To begin our test fit, we'll slide the shank of the bike rack into the receiver tube of our hitch, pulling out on the attached pin as we do. Once our pin holes are lined up, we'll want to be sure that our attached pin falls into place. We'll then use the black knob to engage our anti-rattle device and further secure our rack to our vehicle. With our rack in this position, we have about 11-1/2 inches of ground clearance. The closest point of the rack to the back of our vehicle is about an inch and a half, and overall, we've added about 11 inches to our Sorento. Pulling the gray handle at the top of our mast will allow us to swing out our dual cradle arms. more

Speaker: Today on our 2014 Kia Sorento, we will be test fitting the Saris Cycle On, a locking platform style 2 bike rack for 2 inch hitches, part number SA4024. To begin our test fit, well slide the shank of the bike rack into the receiver tube of our hitch, line up our pin holes, thread in our anti-rattle bolt, tighten it down with a wrench and secure it with the supplied lock. With our bike rack in this position, we have about 11 inches of ground clearance. The closest point of the rack to the vehicle is about 6-1/2 inches and overall, weve added about 14-1/2 inches to the length of our Sorento. In the stored position, as you can see here, we do have full access to our rear hatch. Pulling the pin at the base of the rack will allow us to unfold it into the loading position. With our rack in this position, we do have 18 inches of ground clearance here at the rear. The closest point of the rack to the back of our Sorento is about 8-1/2 inches and overall, weve added about 28 inches to the length of the vehicle.To ready our rack to load our bike, well first want to extend the front wheel hook all the way up and out and undo the rear wheel clamp. more

Hollywood Racks Traveler Tow n Go Bike Rack Review - 2014 Kia Sorento- Video
Today on our 2014 Kia Sorento, well be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Traveler Tow N Go Hitch Mounted 3 Bike Rack, part number HR135. Well be using the hidden hitch ball mount with the super extra-long shank, part number 80232. This is sold separately, along with the hitch pin and clip. Well begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the ball mount into the receiver tube of our hitch. Well line up our pin holes and secure it with the pin and clip. You will notice that the fit is a little loose. We do have available for purchase an anti-rattle device, which will prevent any wobble within the hitch. more
