Today, on this 2016 Chevrolet Equinox, we're going to be test fitting the Thule Roadway 2 bike rack, part number TH912XTR. As you can see, we already have a bike installed on the rack. Let's take a look a closer look at it, and show off some of the features. Now, how the bike is attached to the rack, you're going to have 3 points of contact with your bike's frame. We're going to have two straps up top here, and one off to the side, which is going to serve as an anti sway strap, to keep it from going back and forth, possibly hitting the bike rack, or the bikes in front of it. Let's go ahead and take the bike off, and set it aside for now. more

Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2016 Chevrolet Equinox s64682- Video
Today on this 2016 Chevrolet Equinox, we're going to be test fitting the Swagman G10 two bike platform rack, part number S64682. As you can see, we already have a bike on the rack. Let's go ahead and take a look at it and show off some of the features. Now the first and most important feature is that this can actually tilt away from the vehicle with the bike still attached. What you do is you go back to the latch here, holding onto the bike rack, lift up, let it come forward, now that will give you access to the rear hatch of your vehicle to get whatever you may need. To put it back up into position, again you grab it by the bike rack, never the bike. When you hear that click, it's locked back into place. How this bike is actually attached to the rack, you're going to have three points of contact with only point of contact to your bike's frame. more

Today on our 2007 Chevrolet Suburban, we're doing a test fit of the Thule Vertex hanging style four bike rack. That part number is TH9029XT. We already have our bike secured down, first going to show you how we do that. At the top we have two cradles with three straps; two on our frame and one as our anti-sway strap in the back. Once we have those straps undone, we're able to pull our bike off our rack and set it off to the side. And with our bike out of the way, I always suggest that you replace your straps so you don't lose or damage them. And now we'll take a few measurements here. First it's going to be overall distance we're adding to our vehicle with our arms hanging out. more

Let's go and take the bike off and set it aside for now. Now, once you remove the straps, it's a good habit to get into to put them back in place, primarily because you don't want to lose them while you're driving. Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Equinox, we have got out the Yakima full tilt, and we are test fitting it just to see the kind of room and spacing that we have with the rack in relation to the vehicle. Now, the full tilt is a four bike, hanging style rack, designed to fold and tilt. Also for use with two inch hitches, or the inch and a quarter, so we have some adaptability there. Part number on it is Y02462. These have some of my favorite cradles. I think this is really a big difference here. These are called the zip strips. more

Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Equinox, we are doing a test fit on the Curt Premium 4 Bike Rack. This is a hanging style rack, it has been designed for use on 2 inch hitches. The part number on it is C18064. I think the really unique feature of this bike rack are going to be our dual cradle arms that come back and actually taper in. This is going to help us out a lot with kids bikes, or alternative frames, and things like that. As you can see, nice and narrow here, and then widening out as we get further forward. more

Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Express we're test fitting the Thule T2. This is a platform style 2 bike rack. It's designed for use in 2 inch hitches. Part number on it is TH9044. The T2 is going to use a couple of 1 wheel hook and 1 cradle to hold our bike in place, never making contact with our frame. Really nice, especially for the more delicate frames. Our front wheel hook's going to be positioned just in front of our front brake caliper. more

Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Express, we got out the Thule Vertex here and we're test fitting it to see what kind of room we've got between it and the vehicle. The Vortex was a 4 bike hanging style rack. It's been designed for use with inch and a quarter or with 2 inch hedges. Part number on it is TH9029XT. Nice feature, the rack's going to be the incorporated cable rod, built right into the mast. This is going to come back, goes in the slot here. Then there's a Thule one-key locking tumbler here. more

Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2014 Chevrolet Express Van- Video
Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Express we're got out the Swagman Dispatch and we're test fitting it. Now, the Dispatch is a platform style tube bike rack. It's been designed for use in two inch hitches, and it's also RV approved. Part number is S64684. Now, the Dispatch is going to use a single frame hook, you can see there fully adjustable up the length of our mast here, just simply by pressing that button. It's going to use a front wheel cradle with strap and also a rear wheel cradle with strap to keep our bike secure as we're heading down the road. The top frame hook, here, has a pretty nice, slightly pliable, rubber coating on it. more

We got a front wheel hoop, rear wheel hoop, and then a frame hook that's going to hold our bike right down into those positions. more

Any time that we remove our straps, I always suggest to replace those so you don't lose or damage any of them. With those back in place, we will take a few measurements. Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Chevrolet Suburban- Video
Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Suburban, we're going to test it on the Swagman XC platform style 2-bike rack that is equipped with 1 1/4 and 2 inch hitches. The part number is S64650. You see we already have it on our vehicle. I'll show you a few features here. The first feature I'd like to show you will be where it's holding on the bike with our frame hook. SportRack Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Chevrolet Suburban- Video
Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Suburban we'll be doing a test fit of the Sports Rack Ridge Swing Away 4 bike rack, that part number is SR2415. We already have the bike rack on that vehicle and a bike on the bike rack. First we'd like to how you the swing away mode here. So, by releasing this black knob here and backing our way out, pulling the T-clip here, pulling this T-pin out here, pull out. Pull out far enough and turn our bike until it locks. Keep swinging it around. Take our T-pin insert here, and there we go. more

Today, on our 2015 Chevrolet Suburban, we'll be a test fit of the Swagman Dispatch platform style 2 bike rack. That part number's S64684. This is for 2 inch hitches only, and you see that we already have our bike on the rack, and on the vehicle. Show you a few features here. What we have here's our mast with our frame hooks, that holds up the bike here. We have two straps that hold down the wheels with a nice little bushing, so it doesn't damage your spokes or anything. more

Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Chevrolet Malibu th912xtr- Video
Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Malibu we will be doing a test fit of the Thule Road Way 2 Bike Rack, part number TH912XTR. You see that we have the bike on the rack and hooked to the car. Let's show a few features first. What we have here to hold down our bike, we have three straps, we have two up top, we have an anti sway strap on the side. To take it off, you take off the two straps on the top first, then the anti sway strap, then we can remove our bike. When loading your bike, please do it the opposite way, the anti sway first, then the two straps on top. more

Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Suburban We'll be doing a test fit of the Swagman 4.0 platform style 2 bike rack. For 2 inch hitches only and that part number is S64696. You see that we already have it on our vehicle, our bike is already loaded. Let's show you a few features. First feature I'd like to show you, come up front. What we have is the frame hook which holds down our front tire. Go to the back, we have a zip strap that holds down a tire with a nice little rubber bushing so it won't damage your tire or your spokes. more

MaxxTow Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2009 Chevrolet Malibu- Video
Today, our 2009 Chevrolet Malibu, we'll be doing a test for the MaxxTow, MaxxHaul Platform-Style 2 Bike Rack. That's part number MT70387. It's for Intro to Quarter Class 2 or Class 3, 2 inch by 2 inch receivers only. I've already got it loaded up on the Malibu here, just to give you a good idea of what it's going to look like. Let's go ahead and get it tightened down. We'll take our included anti-rattle bolt and come down here. more
