Hi, Matt with etrailer. Today, we're gonna be talking the Kuat NV Base 2.0 Bike Rack on the 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz. Typically, I would recommend a tailgate pad for anyone who has a bed on their vehicle, but the Santa Cruz has a smaller bed and a lot of times, they can have a Tonneau cover built into them. So that's gonna take up a lot of room in your bedding. You won't be able to fit a lot of bikes in there. In that case, I'd recommend a hitch bike rack. more

The Swagman's gonna be able to hold two bikes, 35 pounds each, so it won't be able to accommodate those heavier e-bikes. Hi, I'm Matt with etrailer. Today we'll be talking about the Yakima FullTilt bike rack that holds five bikes on the 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz. Now this is gonna be a good option for you if you're kind of looking for something that's gonna haul a lot more bikes than your typical platform style bike rack that won't take up near as much room. I will say, typically, I would recommend a tailgate pad for hauling your bikes instead. But with how small the bed is on the Santa Cruz, it's not gonna be able to hold a lot of our standard or larger sized bikes. So I think this is gonna be a good fit. more

Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today we have the Kuat NV 2.0. We're gonna be taking a look at how it fits our 2023 Ford Expedition. Now the first thing when carrying around bikes with your Ford Expedition is that the hitch is pretty high up, which also means that you are gonna be lifting your bikes pretty high up to get onto the bike rack. So with a Kuat NV, I would actually recommend taking a look at the sold separately add-on, which is the access ramp, and that is something you can add to this bike rack that way instead of lifting the bikes up and onto the rack, you can then just ramp them up. This does have a 60 pound weight capacity for those heavier bikes. more

Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we have the Hollywood Rack Destination Four. We're gonna be taking a look at how it fits our 2023 Ford Expedition. The main thing with the Expedition is when you do wanna carry around bikes, the hitch sits pretty high up so you are gonna have to lifting your bikes up pretty high in order to get them onto the rack. Another thing is that a Destination Four is one of my favorite entry level compact racks and that allow you to carry up to four bikes without taking up a lot of space. So seeing how this fits on the Expedition, some of the things we will be taking a look at is how much accessibility do we have in the car One example is that this bike rack does not tilt away so if you wanted to open up your hatch you would have to take your bikes off. Another thing is that this does have a weight capacity of 35 pounds per bike. more

I think this is gonna be a good choice if you're just looking for something that's gonna be an entry level bike rack just get your bikes from point A to point B. It's gonna have the capacity to hold two bikes, 35 pounds each, so unfortunately, it won't be able to accommodate your heavier e-bikes, and it's gonna have three tie-down points, one on each tire, using a strap. And we're gonna have a clamp on the frame. So unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend using any carbon frame bikes, but it will be able to accommodate some other alternative frame bikes, since this kind of slides up and down and can rotate some. If you wanna get into your hatch, you're gonna have to take the bike off, since this doesn't have a tilt-away feature. more

Today when gonna talk about the Kuat Piston Pro Bike Rack for four bikes on the 2023 Toyota Highlander I'd definitely recommend this bike rack for anyone who wants a premium bike rack, but either wants to go out with the family, make sure you can haul all four of your bikes, or if you wanna go out with friends and ride your bikes with them. What's nice about it is that it's gonna make two points of contact, one on each tire, so you're gonna be able to haul a lot of carbon frame bikes and alternative frame bikes. And for all four bikes, you can carry up to 40 pounds. Now the nice thing about this rack is it has a tilt-away feature. Now there's a couple pros and cons to it. more

Another thing that makes it more versatile is where it straps on, it's gonna have two tie-down points, one on the back tire with a strap, and the front one's gonna be a hook that hooks onto your tire. And what's important about that is it's gonna be able to accommodate a lot of different types of bikes, like your carbon frame bikes or a lot of alternative frame bikes. Another nice feature is it's ability to tilt away and to do that is pretty easy. more

Hi, I'm Matt with etrailer. Today we're gonna be talking about the Hollywood Racks Destination E bike rack on the 2023 Toyota Highlander. I think this is gonna be a solid choice for the Highlander if you're look to haul any heavy E-bikes, and that's because this carrier can carry up to 70 pounds per bike holding up the two of them, and it's gonna have a lot of strap down points. It's gonna have two on the front, one on the back tire, and it's gonna have this very sturdy clamp on our frame. Now unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend using any carbon frame bikes because that clamp might damage the frame some. What I do like about this clamp though, is it can adjust on this center mast so it'll be able to accommodate a lot of different or alternative frames. more

Now I think this would be a great value option if you're looking for anything that's gonna be a hanging style that can carry up to four bikes. Especially if you're kind of going out with the family or you're going out with friends, it would be an easy way to kind of take all those bikes with you. Now, I wouldn't recommend taking any bikes that are carbon frame since we're gonna have three points of contact, and those contact points are gonna be on our frame. Now if you have any alternative frame bikes, I'd recommend probably getting a bike adapter bar just so you can adapt to those bikes being on there. more

Now this is gonna be one of our more heavy duty platform bike racks. It's gonna have the potential to hold up the two bikes up the 80 pounds per bike so that's gonna be able to accommodate your e-bikes. And what's also great about that is 80 pounds is a lot of weight, so compared to other e-bike carriers it's gonna outperform most of them. Since it is able to accommodate 80 pounds per bike, it's also gonna be a little bit more difficult to maneuver around but it's also gonna have three tie-down points, two in the tires, and then one on our main frame. more

So since it is making frame contact we don't recommend any carbon frame bikes but since this is adjustable too, it's gonna be great if you wanna try to accommodate a lot of alternative frame bikes. Since this is an entry level bike rack, It doesn't have a tilt away feature but something I do like about how it interacts with the Highlander is we still have a lot of clearance in between the back of our vehicle and our bike. more

Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we have the Hollywood Racks Destination four and we're actually able to take a look at how it fits on our 2019 Jayco Redhawk motor home. Now this is gonna be a bike rack that a lot of people are interested in if you wanna carry around multiple bikes without taking up a lot of space or a lot of money. This is gonna be a really sturdy rack for its entry level price point. And you have a lot of versatility there for bikes' different shapes and sizes. Now, what it is not though is it's not an electric bike rack, it only has a 35 pound per bike weight capacity. And you do have to be mindful that when you have it on your motor home, while it is motor home rated there will be a little bit more movement behind your motor home versus behind a car. more

So it is for people that like an entry level bike rack where you get some features without having to pay too much. Now focusing on the Mazda CX-5 this is gonna be a very compact rack. That means you don't have to take up a lot of space behind your vehicle, but it still has some features there. more

The Yakima Fulltilt is a hanging style bike rack that can accommodate up to five bikes, 40 pounds each. Now, that means it cannot carry e-bikes. Another thing to note, it has three tie-down points all on the frame. So that means it cannot carry alternative frame bikes or carbon frame bikes. more

Hi, Matt with etrailer, and today we're gonna be talking about the Kuat NV 2.0 bike rack on the 2023 Jeep Gladiator. This is gonna be a great versatile platform style bike with this ability to hold up to two bikes, 60 pound, 60 pounds each, which means it's gonna be able to accommodate those e-bikes. Another thing to note it has two strap down points. This back strap here, and up here it has this wheel hook, and if you notice that's only on the tire and not the frame which means they'll be able to accommodate not only carbon frame bikes but alternative frame bikes as well. With this being a more premium style bike rack it does come with additional features. One of those features is this tilt away. more

We're gonna take a look at how it fits our 2022 Honda CR-V Now, the Swagman XC 2 is actually really popular with the CR-V owners because it's gonna be the quickest and most affordable way to get into the platform rack space. So if you have a two inch or inch and a quarter hitch receiver on your CR-V, and you want something that has a bit more stability than a hanging rack but isn't that pricey, that's where the XC 2 comes in handy. So it does a decent job at making sure your bike is steady as you drive around. It's not swinging around, but it also has its downsides like its very limited features. So that comes in so be mindful. more

Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we have the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE 4 bike platform rack. We're gonna take a look at how it fits our 2022 Honda CR-V. So right off the bat, you're gonna need a hitch receiver on your CR-V, a two inch hitch receiver if you wanna carry this bike rack. This is gonna be a two plus two rack, so you can quickly remove this extension if you wanna convert it back to a two bike rack or add the extension if you wanted to turn it into a four bike platform rack. It is on the heavier side. I would recommend having a friend help you out with installing it. more

Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2023 Subaru Impreza- Video
Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today we have the Hollywood Racks Destination 4, and we're gonna take a look at how it fits our 2023 Subaru Impreza. So the Destination 4 is one of my favorite bike racks because it can carry around four bikes, it's compact, it's lightweight, and it's affordable. Now, it also has its downside though, which is it has a maximum weight capacity of 35 pounds per bike, plus it does not tilt away. So if you have extra heavy electric bikes over 35 pounds, I do recommend taking a look at something else. Those are gonna be more premium racks though, like the Saris MHS might be your best bet. more
