So this is what our front anti-sway bar is going to look like. As you can see here, we're going to have two points of contact. There could be a couple of reasons you're wanting to look for a new front sway bar. You could be getting a lot of body roll, maybe it doesn't have a front sway bar from the factory or it's just small and not quite big enough for your application. This is going to make a big difference when we're flat towing, maneuvering in tight locations or just going down the highway and having to make a quick lane change. We're going to notice a lot less body roll in our motor home, it's going to tighten it up a lot like our cars. more

Today, we're going to be taking a look at Roadmaster's Front Anti-Sway Bar, here for our 2018 Jayco Greyhawk.The front sway bar is going to be an excellent addition to any motorhome. Basically, what it is going to do, in the shortest, simplest sense, is it's going to provide a more direct link between the chassis and the body. Some examples you might really see right away for improvements are when we're out on the open road, if we get passed by a large semi or we need to make some evasive maneuvers in our steering, we're not going to feel as much rocking from our coach back and forth and side to side. We're going to feel much more in control of our motorhome here, which is going to increase our confidence when we're out on the road.So now we're going to go ahead and take our speed bump course here with our factory sway bars here to show you the difference it's going to make when we install the upgraded sway bars. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at the best vehicle sway bar and suspension enhancement systems for your Fleetwood Bounder.So you've just got your new motorhome, you've taken it out on your first adventure, and the way there was just not what you expected. You had to fight the whole time to keep the thing on the road, you we're sweating, and when you got there, you we're so worn out from all the effort it took to get there safely that that first night was just a loss. Some of the ways we can get around this is by upgrading our suspension system to give us more confidence when driving down the road and help take the load off the driver.One of the biggest issues out there is sway on these motorhomes, because all the weight sits pretty high up and there's a lot of weight on these motorhomes. So you get heavy crosswinds or when you want to turn, all that weight wants to shift to one side. The further away the weight is from the fulcrum, which in our case is going to be our suspension system here, which is quite far away, the more it's going to have leverage to do so. more

Roadmaster Reflex Steering Stabilizer Installation - 2017 Fleetwood Bounder Motorhome- Video
Hi there motor home owners. Today on your 2017 Fleetwood Bounder, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install a Roadmaster steering stabilizer.And this is what our stabilizer looks like when it's installed. It attaches to your axle on one side and to your tie rod here on the other side. It works with your steering system to act as a dampener. So if you we're to hit any potholes or uneven terrain, it often causes your steering wheel to jerk or jut, shoot to one side. This is going to help dampen and minimize that, so you're not having to work so hard when you hit those things. more

Today on your 2017 Fleetwood Bounder, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Roadmaster's rear anti-sway bar.And this is what our sway bar looks like when it's installed. It's designed to work in conjunction with your factory sway bar, which is located just on the other side of the axle. We can see that hanging down there at the bottom, except this one here is going to be an even larger and more robust sway bar that's going to further prevent sway. And you can see here how it does this. We're attached to the frame here at the top, on each side, on our hangers that come down and then we're attached to our axle here. more

Hi there Tiffin owners. Today on your 2011 Tiffin Allegro motor home, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Roadmaster's rear anti-sway bar. And this is what our sway bar looks like when it's installed. It's an additional sway bar that is installed in tandem with your factory sway bar, which is located just on the other side of our axle here, except this sway bar is significantly more robust than that factory sway bar. It's significantly thicker diameter, and it's made up of 41 40 chromoly steel. So it's going to be stronger than the one that we had there, but since it's installed on this side of our axle, we're going to be getting the support from our original factory one, in addition to this one. more

Hi there, motor home owners. Today on your 2011 Ford F-53 Chassis, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Roadmaster's rear anti-sway bar, and this is what our sway bar looks like, when it's installed. It's an additional sway bar that is installed in tandem with your factory sway bar, which is located just on the other side of our axle here, except this sway bar is significantly more robust than that factory sway bar. It's significantly thicker diameter, and it's made up of 4140 chromoly steel, so it's going to be stronger than the one that we had there, but since it's installed on this side of our axle, we're going to be getting the support from our original factory one, in addition to this one.So, whenever our motor home wants to go to the left or to the right, and that body starts to roll, in order for the suspension to allow it to do that, that's going to pull up on this part of our sway bar, and it's going to push down on the opposite side here, and it's going to cause our sway bar to flex, and it doesn't want to flex. It wants to stay in this normal position here, so once it does flex, this larger thicker bar here's going to help bring our motor home back upright again, so it can return to its position. What this means for you, as the driver, is you're going to have more confidence in the stability of your motor home, because when you go to make turns, especially quick turns, such as an evasive maneuver, normally your motor home is going to tilt hard to one side.Having this here's going to minimize how much your motor home's going to tilt, so you're not going to feel like you're going to roll over. more

Rob: Hey everybody it's Rob here at etrailer.com and today we're going to be taking a look at the Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar on our 2018 Winnebago Sunstar LX Motorhome. Whether you're new to driving a motor home, or you've been doing it for a while, you'll realize real quickly that it's not very comfortable or practical if you haven't driven something this large before. There's a lot of area for the wind to catch which just means that the wind is going to start pushing us around on the highway. And that all equates to us moving around in the seat, biting the steering wheel, trying to keep our motor home tracking straight, not to mention all the passengers and gear we have back here. That's getting tossed around. So overall it can be a little nerve-racking. more
