Hi there, biking enthusiasts. Today on your 2016 Chevrolet Silverado, we're going to be taking a look at Thule's Hitching Post Pro 4 Bike Rack Hanging Carrier. What I really like about this bike rack on our Silverado is it gives us the option to take four bikes with us without taking up any of our truck bed space, so we can still fit all of our gear in there when we go on vacation.Each of the four bikes are held in place using three cradles. There's two on top and then one on the vertical shaft here on one side. The one on the vertical shaft prevents any sway, so that way there's no bike to bike or bike to rack contact. They're secured to the cradles using the rubber straps. more

Hi there, biking enthusiasts. Today on your 2016 Chevrolet Silverado, we're going to be taking a look at Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2. A great thing about having a bike rack on your Silverado is you can keep the bikes out of the bed of your truck, so when you go on vacation you'll have plenty of room for all of your gear.Compared to other style bike racks out there, this is a platform bike rack, which will support the bike by the wheels. This is great for carbon fiber bikes because you don't want to support those by the frame, as it can potentially cause damage to carbon fiber frames. Platform bike racks are also easier to load than hanging bike racks because you don't have to lift them up so high. I also like the way that you can take off whichever bike you want in no particular order.On a hanging bike rack, if your bike is the bike that's furthest in, you have to take off all the racks on the outside to get to that one. more

So as you can see here, these are the straps that hold down your bike. There's two on the top and also there is an anti-sway cradle on the bottom. And as you can see on this one right here, you do have really nice grooves to be able to fit your bike cables and everything like that to protect it from hurting your frame.I'm going to show you how easy it is to take your bike off. All you got to do is just kind of pull on these rubber straps right here and they come off real easily. more

Press that down and it tilts. And on this Colorado, we do have a little bit of contact at the very bottom edge of this tilting feature. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at Hollywood Racks Destination Platform Style Rack on our 2015 Chevy Colorado.This is going to be able to hold up to four bikes, with three tie down points per bike. We have two wheel cradles on front and back with some zip tie style straps. Those are very easy to undo, and it only touches your inside of your rim, but it does have a little rubber insert right here, and this is going to protect your rim from any scratches or any sorts of things like that.What I really do like about this bike rack, is it's going to be able to fit a lot of your bikes that you throw at it. So this middle main support here does rotate 360 degrees around this center mast here, and also rotates 360 degrees around the pivot point too. So that's going to be able to accommodate for all those different style framed bikes like this one right here. more

Thule Camber 4 Bike Rack Review - 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500- Video
Hi, everybody. Today we have a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado, and we're going to be doing a test fit on the Thule Camber 4 Hanging Style Bike Rack.This is going to carry up to four bikes, and it's a hanging style bike rack with around three tie-down points. So, as you can see, there's two tie-down points on your top of your frame, and also an anti-sway cradle, which is going to basically help with bike-to-bike contact, and also bike-to-vehicle contact.As you can see, it has a protective rubber coating with these nice notches in here. That's going to protect your bike frame, first of all, and also you can fit your cables and stuff into this little groove here to protect your cables as well. It's a zip-tie style strap down, which basically you just press a tab and feed it through, and you pull it down to tighten.Now, let me go ahead and take this bike off for you. Like I said, just press in the tab, feed these straps through, and then the anti-sway cradle. more

We can store up to four bikes on this rack using the two cradles it has per bike. In addition to the two cradles that attach to the top post, we'll have an additional anti-sway cradle for the vertical post that'll ensure that there's no bike-to-bike contact, as well as bike-to-rack contact. The adjustable rubber straps hold it in place and accommodate varying size bikes. Hey, guys. Today, we have a 2019 Chevrolet Traverse, and we're going to do a test fit of the Thule Helium Pro 3-Bike hanging style rack. Now, this bike rack's pretty special in its own way. It is very easy to handle, comes in at about 20 pounds, but it's still able to carry three bikes. You don't see that too often, especially when you get into those platform racks, and they just get to be 60, 70, 80 pounds, and they just get a little too hard to handle when you want to put it in your hitch, or pull it out and store it. So this one's going to be very easy to handle, and still give you that capacity for carrying bikes.You can carry up to three bikes to and from the trails. more

Hey guys. Today we're going to do a test fit of the Thule Helium Pro two bike hanging style rack on our 2019 Chevrolet Traverse. This bike rack does have a pretty unique feature about it in that, one, it's going to be able to carry two bikes to and from the trails, but it's going to be very easy to handle. It only comes in at just under 20 pounds, so it's going to be very easy to install on your hitch, it's going to be very easy to remove, and even the components around it are going to be very light weight. So you're not going to have too many issues when it comes to lifting it or anything like that. When you get to those platform racks, even the two bike platform racks can come in at 40 to 50 pounds, but this kind of takes that hassle away.It comes with this nice cam buckle strap that's going to allow you to secure your bikes in another way. more

Inno Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2019 Chevrolet Traverse- Video
Hey guys, today we have a 2019 Chevrolet Traverse and we're going to do a test of the Inno vertical hang 4 bike hanging style rack. Now, this rack has a unique way of holding your bikes that hasn't really been seen too much from hanging style racks. Now normally, with that style rack, you're going to have 2 posts that are parallel to the ground like so and they'll hold your bike by the top tube.Now, this one's going to have 2 vertical posts that are perpendicular to the ground. And basically, how it's going to hold your bike is the top coil's going to kind of wedge up at the junction of the top tube and the down tube right here. It's going to wedge itself up there, then we have a strap securing it on to the cradle. And then, down here, we're going to have the support cradle that's at the midway point of our down tube. more

Hey guys. Today we have a 2015 Chevrolet Suburban and we're going to test for the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Four Bike Platform Rack. Now, this is going to be a great hitch mounted accessory for your Suburban. It's gonna let you haul up to four bikes to and from the trails or wherever you want to go because you can't fit them inside your vehicle. Now in my opinion, one of the coolest features about this bike rack is that while we have it in its four bike configuration right now, if we wanted to, we can come and remove this pin right here and pull off the two bike addition that we have onto it. If we pull the two bike addition off, we can use it as a two bike rack or if you want, you can purchase the Hollywood Racks Cargo Carrier attachment here eTrailer.com and you can attach it to the back so that you can put your two bikes on and then any cargo or gear that you don't want on the inside of your Suburban.Now we can also tilt this away from the vehicle like most platform racks can. more

Today on our 2019 Chevrolet Equinox we're gonna be taking a look at the Hollywood trail rider two bike platform rack. We have the bike and the rack set up on our Chevy here to give you a nice idea of how it would look. First thing I do want to point out is with our rack installed with or without a bike, we do lose our hatch access. But there is a solution to that. And I'll get to it here in a moment.First thing I want to point out is how our bike is secured. Now a couple of features I want to show right off the bat is one, this two bike extension can be removed if you only want to take two bikes out. All you have to do is loosen up this anti rattle handle right here and that will loosen up this pin that you can take out and then pull the two bike extension off and that's gonna shorten the length added onto the back of your vehicle and take some of the weight off if you're only gonna take two bikes out.The other feature I want to show is that it can tilt away from the vehicle. We're just gonna come in here and remove this snapper pin. It might help to pick up on the back of the bike rack and then we're gonna pull that pin and let it tilt away. more

Today in our 2019 Chevrolet Colorado, we're gonna be doing a test fit on the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SC 4-Bike Platform Rack for Fat Bikes, with a cargo carrier added on. Part number HR1450Z-85-FB.Now right away, one of the features that we're gonna point out is that this bike rack has a cargo carrier added on to the back of it to allow you to haul any gear you would like to outside of your vehicle.If you would wish, you can pull this cargo carrier out if you only wanna take your two bikes out, or you could even use this cargo carrier by itself in your two-inch hitch receiver.The weight capacity for a cargo carrier when it's added on is 90 pounds, but when you put it as a standalone carrier inside the hitch receiver, it's gonna be 200 pounds.Now on to the cradles of our bike rack. This bike rack's gonna give you four additional fat bike cradles that'll hold fat tire bikes up to five inches wide. You can see the comparison right here between the fat tire bike cradle and the standard cradle. You're also gonna have four of these standard cradles if you want to take out one fat tire bike and then one standard bike. Today in our 2019 Chevrolet Colorado, we're gonna be doing a test fit on the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SC 2-Bike Platform Rack with a cargo carrier attachment, part number HR1450Z-85.Now the addition that we'll point out right away is that we have a cargo carrier on the back of our bike rack, which isn't something you typically see a lot. With a cargo carrier attached to it, you're gonna be able to haul any of your biking equipment that you don't want inside of our vehicle, whether it's dirty or doesn't have the best smell to it.The weight capacity for the . when it's outside, on the end of it, is gonna be 90 pounds, but you could also remove it from the bike rack and use it as a standalone carrier, to which the weight limit will be 200 pounds. Or, if you just wanna take your two bikes out and you don't have any cargo to haul, you can also take it off and just use the bike rack.Now the bike itself is gonna be held in at three different points in contact. We have a hook-and-loop strap holding the back wheel in, and we have the same thing on the front. Those two straps are gonna make sure that the wheels stay in their trays and don't shift at all while we're traveling. more

One of the cool features about this bike rack we'll start off with is that you can purchase add-ons for it whether you want to add on a two-by carrier to it or a cargo carrier to increased your hauling capacity. You can find those at etrailer.com.Another thing I want to point out is that we can tilt this away from our vehicle to gain better access to our truck bed. We'll remove that snapper pin first, and then we're gonna pull the pin on the other side and then let it tilt away, but you will find that when you open up your tailgate and you come down it is gonna make contact with the bike you have on there, but it does open up a good amount to where you can still hold it and get in to your track bed and grab any small thing you might need.To tilt it back up, just reverse the process. We'll tilt it back. It snapped into place, so we'll go ahead and replace this snapper pin. more

Speaker 1: Today in our 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LD we're going to be doing a test on the Kuat transfer one bike platform rack. Part number TS01B. Now the first feature I want to point out right away is that we can tilt this away from our vehicle. There's a little foot pedal right here, we'll just push down on it and then we can tilt away, like so. However I will point out that if you're tilting it away to access or to open up your tailgate, right at the bottom it's gonna make contact with your pedal right there. So it's pretty close but not quite enough space.So use caution if you're going to utilize this feature. more

Speaker 1: Today in our 2018 Chevrolet Equinox, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Yakima RidgeBack Two-Bike Hanging Style Rack, part number: Y02457.Now, as you can see, we have a bike installed. Let's take a closer look and show-off some of the features. On the ends of our arms, we are going to have two bottle-openers that Yakima likes to put on all of their bike racks.The cradles are stationary. However, they do have this nice rubber TPE padding, which these notches are going to act as shock absorbers for your bike while you're traveling.We have three different points where our bike is secured. We have two Zip Strips on the top of our frame, and then we have a third Zip Strip down here on the seat post tube, securing it into the anti-rattle cradle.Once that's secure, that's going to prevent our bike from moving too much while we're traveling. It's going to help the bike avoid making contact with the vehicle or another bike we could have installed.To remove it, we're just going to press in on the two tabs, on the either side of the Zip Strip, pull it out. more

As you can see, we do have a bike installed, so let's take a closer look and show off some of the features.Now, like a lot of platform-style racks, this one can tilt from the vehicle. How we're going to do that is we're going to pull this gray pin on the other side like that and let it hang there. We're going to come to this red pin right here and pull that out and then we can tilt it away.You do want to keep in mind that when it's installed on your truck, when you open your tailgate, you are going to make contact with the bike right there. So if you we're trying to get into the bed of your truck to get maybe some cargo or some gear, whatever you might need, you will have to keep that in mind that you'll have to come from the side of your vehicle or probably have to hold open your tailgate and grab whatever you need.Now we're going to tilt it back up. more

Inno Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2016 Chevrolet Colorado- Video
Speaker 1: Today in our 2016 Chevrolet Colorado, we're gonna be taking a look at the Inno Aero Lite 4 Bike Rack for 1 1/2" and 2" hitches. That's gonna be product number INH640. As you can see, we have a bike installed, so let's take a closer look and show off some of the features.Now, starting from the outside and working our way in, we're gonna have this integrated cable lock system which comes out from the base of our bike rack, wraps around our frames, and inserts into that slot right there. You will get a set of keys with your bike rack, so when you wanna remove the cable you simply just slide up this tab, you have the insert for your key to unlock your cable, and then unload your bikes.These cradles right here have a nice, thick rubber padding which is gonna help protect the frame of your bike from any type of scratches or abrasions during installation and travel. The cradles can also move back and forth, and slide up and down the rack to accommodate many different-sized bikes and any spacing between bikes that you might want.If we look at the bike itself, we're gonna see it's secured at three different points of contact. We have two straps on the top of our bike frame securing it into the cradles, then down here we're gonna have this anti-rattle cradle. more
