So, this is just going to give you guys peace of mind going down the road so you're not just sitting there white-knuckling the wheel, checking out what's going on behind you every two seconds. This way, it's going to keep you guys more safe, give you guys some peace of mind, and also protect your equipment and everybody else on the road.We are going to get a really large mirror with this kit and it is going to be able to tilt up and down, side-to-side, and also rotate if you guys want a wider mirror, or if you guys just want a taller one. And that's literally all we got to do and everything is nice and tight. Now having a towing mirror on top of your factory mirror is really nice whenever you're towing a trailer. Because let's face it, we can usually see the trailer behind us, but when we want to change lanes, most of us end up sticking our head out of the window, which isn't really a good practice because we need to keep our eyes on the road. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the CIPA Universal Clip-On Towing Mirror on our 2020 Nissan Pathfinder.Now, a towing mirror's going to give you that extra field of view, so whenever you're towing a trailer, you can make sure that you're able to see next to you, behind you, and safely get down the road because, typically when we're towing a trailer, you can see the back of the trailer, but if you need to change lanes, it's hard to see that far back and that far to the side, so we end up sticking our head out the window, which really isn't a safe practice.So, here you can see me, I'm at the back of our trailer we have hooked up to our Pathfinder. But again, the problem isn't when we're driving completely straight, it may be that we need to change lanes. So, when I step away, you're going to lose track of me in the factory mirror.But, the way we have our towing mirror set up, you're going to see me right away in the towing mirror when I move out of sight in the factory mirror. That way we can change lanes, maybe pull up to the campgrounds, back our trailer up, or whatever we need to do, and it's just a lot easier, and safer, and prevents us from sticking our head out the window, and taking our eyes off the road.And, it does have a ball and socket on the back, so it's fully adjustable. We can turn it a full 360 degrees. more

Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer.Today on our 2020 Chevrolet Equinox, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the SEPA universal fit towing mirror, which is also sold as a set.Towing mirror really going to expand our field of view.That can be especially useful whenever making a lane change, backing up into a tight parking spot, or just wanting to keep a closer eye on what's going on behind us.So to give you an example, how much more ground we're going to be able to cover, as you can see, I'm visible and they're telling me, but not our factory mirror.Now, if I take a few steps closer to our trailer, I'll disappear out of that towing mirror and become visible in our factory mirror.that's also really going to help to eliminate any blind spots as well.One of the biggest questions we get in regards to universal fit towing mirrors is if you're going to have any vibration or noise, especially at higher speeds.Well, this one does clamped to the factory mirror and it really is solid.If I kind of move it around, you can see it's just moving with the factory mirror.So I really don't see that causing an issue for you.And since our towing mirror is going to extend the overall width of our Equinox, sometimes it may be a little tricky to pull into tight spots.As you need to free up some space, you still are able to completely fold the mirror in the Toe of your lens in this position.There's a little contact, but if you just rotate it, it'll give you that extra enter so that you might need.And even with the towing mirror in place, we're still able to maintain all of our adjustability with our factory mirror.That's really good to come in handy.That way you don't have to sacrifice any visibility.Towing mirror itself is also completely adjustable.You're going to be able to adjust it up and down side to side, pretty much any which way you want.You can even rotate it a full 360 degrees.So you shouldn't have any problems finding a position that works best for you.And since this tow mirror is universal, chances are pretty good.If you happen to have another vehicle in the household, it'll probably work with that too.And if you want to switch them around, it's really not too big of a headache because how easy this is to put on and take off.Speaking of which let's go ahead and pull it all together now.So the way we get our mirror on is these two knobs, which you're going to do is loosen them up.And that's going to create a bigger gap in between these two pieces here.So once you have that created, it will just simply slide that onto the factory mirror, kind of hold it in place and then just evenly turn the knobs to clamp it down.Once you have it nice and snowing. If you picked up a set, you simply just repeat this process over on the other side.And that'll finish up our look at and our installation of the SEPA universal fit towing mirror on our 2020 Chevrolet Equinox. more

However, if we we're to step over a few feet to simulate our blind spot, as you can see we're no longer visible from the factory mirror when we are able to be seen here from our aftermarket towing mirrors.In regards to universal towing mirrors, this K Source option is by far my favorite. There's a couple of reasons why this is my favorite. Now the benefit of this dual mirror faces, we're going to have a much better view of our trailer, the blind spots in particular so we can safely merge in traffic.As we can see here we have a nice and tight fit on the back of our factory mirrors here. We're going to be taking a look at the CIPA Universal Towing Mirrors here for our 2020 Toyota RAV4.So to show you some benefits here that our towing mirrors are going to offer when we're out on the road, if we need to change lanes, generally speaking, we're going to have a pretty large blind spot with our trailer here. We're not going to be able to see cars coming upon us when we do need to merge over. However, these towing mirrors are going to be the perfect solution for that because they're going to essentially get rid of the blind spot with our trailer here. As you can see, I'm stepping to the side of the trailer where I'm still visible all the way until we get back to our factory mirrors.So what I really like about these CIPA towing mirrors, as you can see, we have a very large mirror face here, seven and a half inches by five inches.
