Today on our 2016 Hyundai Sante Fe SE we're going to take a look at and show you how to install our the hidden hitch custom fit class 3 trailer hitch receiver. It's part number is 87637. Here's what our hitch is going to look like installed. As you can see that appearance panel is going to go right back into place, cover everything up. The only noticeable thing that you're going to have is the small wiring tab that's been welded onto the hitch so with the cover in place, almost undetectable that there's actually a hitch on the vehicle. Now this is a class 3 hitch so it's going to very versatile. It's got the 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening. This works great for ball mounts, bike racks, cargo carriers, whatever it is really that you want to use that's a class 3 rated accessory will go in here just fine. Now we've got a 5/8 diameter pinhole. more

All of our supports are kind of up and out of the way and we're just going to have our small receiver tube opening here that we'll be able to see visually . This is an 1-1/4" by 1-1/4" opening. It's a class 2 hitch, that means any of the class 2 or class 1 accessory should work out fine. more

Today on our 2015 Hyundai Tuscan, we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the curt custom fit class 3 trailer hitch receiver with weight distribution rating. Part number is C13120. Here's what our hitch is going to look like installed. As you can see, most of the bracing is going to be up behind that rear fascia. We're going to have that receiver tube that hangs down a little bit, and then there's an angled plate that kind of stiffens that up. Now, as far as the receiver tube opening, we're looking at two inches by two inches. This is going to be great for just about any accessory we want to put in there as long as it's class 3 rated. We're going to secure it using the five-eighths pinhole. You can see there's plenty of room on each side here, so no matter what kind of hitch pin, locking hitch pin, anti-rail device you want to use, I don't think you'll have any problem with that. more

While most of our hitch is exposed, it's tucked up nicely under the rear bumper and fascia. This is our class 3, 2" by 2" receiver tube. It's got really nice, large, easy to use chain hold bounds and a pre-drilled 5/8" pin-hole going all the way through. more

That is because with the construction of a car, it doesn't allow it to be hidden very much, but we have a nice, sturdy, strong square body here for a hitch, which goes up to our arms that reach up and attach to your frame. Take a look at the receiver end here. We can see it uses a 1/2 inch hitch pin or your favorite locking pin. It has a generous loop for your safety chains, and this is our inch and a quarter opening for your ball mount or accessories. more

Now you can see here, you can actually see the body of the hitch below the bumper, but that's because that's how the vehicle's constructed. There will not be a way of hiding the hitch, but it has a nice round tube shape to it. We take a look at the receiver itself, on each side there are bounds for your safety chains for your trailer. 1/2" hitch pin hole, and it does come with the hitch pin and clip or you can use your favorite hitch pin lock. more

Today on our 2015 Hyundai Tucson, were going to review and install the CURT Class III 2 Receiver Tube Hitch part number C13120. Here is what our hitch is going to look like once installed. As you can see, this is a really well-concealed hitch as our cross tube is hidden behind the rear fascia. What you can see is the receiver tube which is a nice fully-welded construction with a black powder-coated finish. This is our Class III 2 x 2 receiver tube. Weve got our chain hold down on each side and a pre-drilled 5/8th pinhole. This is capable of up to 525 pounds of tongue weight with a 3,500-pound tow capacity. more

Here are a few tools that'll be necessary for installing the hitch. You need at least a Phillip's screwdriver, and maybe a flat head screwdriver, ten millimeter socket, a couple of drill bits, and a file bit along with the drill. Either a utility knife or a dremel. Then, you can either use a standard ratchet or a large inaudible 00:00:37 along with your torque wrench and a three quarter inch socket. An extension may be necessary. more

Today on this 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport, we are going to show you part number C13152. This is a Curt trailer hitch receiver, two-inch Class III hitch. This is what a hitch looks like when it is installed on our Santa Fe. Take a quick look at it here and you can see how the hitch sits below the bottom edge of the fascia here and you have a nice finish collar around the two-inch receiver. There are two cinch chain loops right here for your trailer. This does use a five-eighths-inch hitch pin. This hitch is rated for a trailer weight of 6,000 pounds by itself and 900 pounds tongue weight, which would be the weight pulling down on the hitch. When you add a separate weight distribution assembly, the capacity of the hitch goes up to 8,000 pounds total trailer weight and 900 pounds tongue weight. Now the structure of the hitch is a round tube design. It gently goes up and above the exhaust. more

From the top of the receiver opening down to the ground will be about 10". From the center of the hitch pinhole to the outside edge of the bumper will be about 3". First off, this is the 1-1/4" receiver hitch rated for 2,000 pounds towing or 200 pounds tongue weight. On the bottom here we have our safety chain loops. more

Now, to begin our install, we'll first remove the rubber plugs from the frame rails, one on each side. We'll go ahead and set the plugs aside, as they will not be reinstalled; noting that these will be two of the four attachment points. The third attachment point will be the tow hook and our fourth attachment point will be on the driver's side frame rail, forward of the frame from the previous attachment point. more

From the center of the hitchpin hole to the outermost edge of the bumper is six inches, so the top of the receiver tube opening to the ground to twelve and a quarter inches. This will assist you selecting accessories such as a ball mount, bike rack, or cargo carrier. Now let's go ahead with installation. Today on our 2008 Hyundai Elantra, we're going to install part number 60872 from Hidden Hitch. All right now. This is what the hitch looks like when it's installed on the vehicle. From top of the receiver opening down to the ground will be about 10 inches and from the center of the hitch pin hole to your outside edge of your bumper will be about 6 inches. Now we'll go ahead and show you how the hitch is installed. The first thing we're going to do is show the attachment points on the frame. They are located on the side of the frame and there's two threaded holes and this will be the same on both sides of the vehicle. Our first step, we'll go ahead and clean out the threads. more

Now let's go ahead and install our hitch. For ease of installation we went ahead and lowered the spare tire out of the way before we began. First we'll need to go ahead and remove the 2 tow nuts, one from each side. more

Now we'll go ahead and give you a couple measurements in helping you chose some accessories for your hitch; such as Ball Mount, a Bicycle Rack, or a Cargo Carrier. From the top of the opening to the receiver, to the ground, we have about 13-1/4". From the center of the Hitch Pin Hole, to the outermost edge of the bumper, we have about 4-1/2". Now Let's go ahead and install our hitch. We're going to begin by opening the rear hatch of the vehicle. Now we'll go ahead and lift up the rear covering pieces here, cause we're going to need to gain access to this location right here. We'll need to remove the cover by simply twisting it. Then you can see that there's a nut right there. more

From the top of the receiver tube to the ground is 16-1/4" and from the center of the hitch pinhole to the outer edge of the rear bumper is 5". Now we'll show you how to install it. Before we install the hitch we need to remove the center panel. To do so we need to remove the Phillips push fasteners on both sides, and then the clips on both sides. more

All right, today on this 2005 Hyundai Tucson we're going to install part number 13526 from Curt. All right, this is what the hitch looks like when it's installed on a Tucson. Next we'll give you some measurements that will help you out in selecting some accessories, such as a ball mount, a bicycle rack, or a cargo carrier. From the top of the receiver opening, down to the ground will be about 12 1/4" and our measurement form the center of the hitch-pin hole to the edge of the bumper will be about 5 3/4". Now we'll go ahead and show you how the hitch is installed. All right, our first step is to go ahead and remove exhaust hangers and lower the exhaust, this will make it easier to install our hitch. Now to loosen up the exhaust hangers we're going to spray the rubber parts down with some lubricant and then we'll simply just pry them off. more

Today in 2012 Hyundai Tucson, we're going to install part number C13120 from Curt. Now, first thing we need to do on our hitch is to go ahead and lower the exhaust to give us some working room. We'll go ahead and sprayed down the rubber hangers with some lubricant. We'll go ahead and push, pull or pry the rubber hangers off from the mufflers. There will be one on the east side that we have to do. Now, before we completely remove our lower exhaust, we'll also use a strap to help hold our exhaust in place while we work on it. You only use it to lower it down. more

Now we'll go ahead with the installation. Now to begin our install we'll first go ahead and point out the attachment points, one on each frame rail and the manufacturers tow hook here in the center. For our frame rail fasteners we'll be using the half inch carriage bolt and block that'll go into the frame. more
