Today on our 2006 Toyota Camry, we're doing a test fit of the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars. Part number for our crossbars today is RRVA126B-2. For our foot pack, we're using RRRLKVA, and for our fit kit, we're using DK028. Now we already have our front bar on. We've got one of our foot packs on our back bar, which, let me show you this last one and then how to install it onto your vehicle. The first thing we'll do is take our foot pack here, and we're just going to undo this bolt and set it off to the side. Now we can take our clamp, place it onto our foot pack, and then tighten down that clamp into that foot pack, just enough so that it doesn't slip out. That's going to stay in place there as well. Then we'll take off the bottom portion here, and we want this arrow to face out on the outside of the foot pack. more

Today on our 2015 Toyota Rav 4 we're going to be doing a test fit of the Thule Aeroblade and Rapid Crossroads Roof Rack System. As you can see we already got our front bar up here in place as well as our foot packs around our factory cross bars. We'll go ahead and show you how to place on the back bar. First thing you're going to need to do is remove the end cap by rotating the cap outwards, pressing down and pulling it out. Next, you'll take your Rapid Crossroads foot pack, remove the end with the tool included in it, slide it into place over the T-track system. Just like so. more

Today on our 2015 Toyota Highlander we're doing a test fit of the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars. The part number for our crossbars here is RRVA137B-2. For our Fixed Point Mount Leg Kit it's going to be RRRLCP31 and for our Adapters, it's going to be RRVA-FK2-2. So the first thing you'll notice is that we do already have our front bar on. What I want to start off with is putting this fixed mount kit on. We're going to take the right side, which is M718 and our bolt with our washers already installed and we will mount them into the fixed point. more

Today on our 713 Toyota Prius C we're a doing a cross fit of the Rhino rack Vortex Aero Cross Bars, the part number for our cross bars here is RRVA106B-2, for our foot pack were using RRRLKVA and for our foot kit for the Prius we're using DK351. Weve already got our front cross bar on, we've got one of our feet on here we are just going to show you how to install the other one. The first thing we need to do is take of this foot plate here, we're going to use a rubber piece from our fit kit and we are just going to fit that on there and when were fitting it on we want this aero facing one way and the other one facing the opposite way. When we put it on to the rest of our foot pack we want the aero on the foot plate facing in towards the inside of the foot pack there. Well take our clamp just place that on there and tighten down the bolt just enough so that it holds it in place and we can slide it on to our T track. We have 16.8 centimeters here for our measurement thats going to give us even bar over hung on your cross bars. When you purchase your kit it will come with inserts and you can just use those to measure that out as well. Then well take our N cap and the just slide that on to our cross bar. Well open up our vehicle doors and we can place on our cross bars and measure out the cross bars spread. Just gently set that on there and dont worry if it doesnt fit like you see here, once we measure out the cross bar spread it will even out and sit properly. more

Then, for the fit kit for the Tacoma, is going to be DK174. We do already have all of our 3 of our feet there and then, our front crossbar on, so we're going to show you how we put this last foot on, and then also how we install the back crossbar. Just going to flip our bar over and remove the end-cap here. We're going to take off this plastic piece off of the foot pack and we want to make sure this arrow is facing out and this arrow is facing forward. more

Today, on our 2006 Toyota Prius, we will be testing the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Roof Rack System, using part number RRVA126S-2 for the 49-inch Aluminum Rhino-Rack Crossbars, front and rear, and part number RRRLKVA for the 2500 Series Leg Kit, and part number DK079 for the Clamps and Pads. I've already got the front crossbar already installed on our Toyota Prius. I'm going to go ahead and show you how to put together the leg kit and then install it on our crossbar and then we'll put the rest of it on our vehicle. The first thing we'll do is we'll take part of our leg kit here. We're going to take this leg bolt off. We're going to grab one of our clamps. more

Today on our 2014 Toyota Corolla, we're going to be test-fitting the Thule Traverse Roof Rack System. We're going to be using part numbers THLB50, that's going to be for the 50-inch bars. TH480, that's going to be for the traverse foot packs and part number THKIT1746, that's going to be for Toyota Corolla custom foot pack that Thule puts together for us. Again, just a custom fit. It's got the custom fit pad and the clamps designed to fit the roof line of our vehicle. Now we already have our rear bar installed onto our vehicle and we have part of our front bar assembled and put together. Real quick, we just want to go and show you how to assemble the last foot pack and how to assemble it onto the bar. We're going to rotate this around you so you can get a better look at it. We got our foot pack here, again, this is going to be part number TH480, you're going to get four feet included in that. more

Today on our 2014 Toyota Tundra, we're going to be test fitting the Rhino Rack 2500 Series Vortex Aero Roof Rack system, we're using the black Vortex Aero blades, the part number is RRVA150B-2. We're using the foot packs which are part number RRRLKVA and the fit kit which is part number DK079. Now the bars are also available in silver that part number would be RR150S-2. I want to show you to assemble the third foot pack here. The fit kit is going to come with four clips, it's going to come with four pads. There will be detailed instructions in there on how to assemble them. In our case on the Tundra, the arrow on the plastic part of the foot pack should be facing out as well as the arrow that's located on our rubber pad. We're going to place this on being sure to press down firmly all the way around so it will seat properly. more

Today on our 2014 Toyota Camry we're going to be test fitting the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Roof Rack System in black part numbers RRVA118B-2 for our Aero Bar RRRLKVA for our foot pack and DK321 for our fit kit. We went ahead and assembled an installed the rest of the foot packs but I'll go ahead and show you how to do it on this one. The arrow here on the bottom of the bracket is going to face toward the outside of your vehicle. You also have an arrow on your pad here and that's going to be facing the front of the vehicle. We'll go ahead and press this on and move our bolt here, lay our clip in place and re-install our bolt. With that done we'll go ahead and turn our bar over here, remove the end cap, we'll then take and slide the block here into the channel. With that done we need to get our strip length. These will be included with your kit. more

Part Number TH480R for our foot pack and part number THKIT1345 for our fit kit. To begin our test fit we'll go ahead and install our fit kit to our foot pack. To do so we'll flip this up here. We can go ahead and match our pad to the bracket. As you can see they have the same shape so it's easy to tell which way it goes on. We'll go ahead and press this on so the perimeter fits around the edge of that bracket. more

Today on our 2005 Toyota Prius we're going to be test fitting the Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System in silver, part number THARB53 for the arrow bar, part number TH480R for our foot pack and THKIT1345 for our fit kit. We went ahead and assembled and installed our front cross bar, so we're going to show you how to put one of the foot kits and the foot packs together, get it loaded onto your bar and then put onto the vehicle. To begin your assembly here you're going to line the pad of the fit kit onto the bracket of the foot pack. You can see they have the same shape, so you'll just match the shapes up. Press it down there firmly so that it secures around the perimeter of the bracket. With that done we'll need to install the clip. It's going to slide in between the bar and the gray part. more

Yakima Q Tower Roof Rack Installation - 2008 Toyota Highlander

Today, on our 2008 Toyota Highlander, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima Q Towers Roof Rack System, part number Y00409, Y00124, and Y00699. With our Q clips, Q towers and round bars assembled according to the included instructions, we'll begin our test fit by first opening the front passenger and driver's side door. With that done, we'll go ahead and place the front bar onto the front of our roof. We'll need to measure 9 inches from the front part of the glass to the first part of our tower. We're going to make this measurement on both the passenger and driver's side of the vehicle. This will ensure that the front bar is perpendicular to the roof, and the pads on the underside of the Q tower and clips, contour to the roof line correctly. Once this is done, we can lift up on the black cover to tighten down the silver hand bolt on the inside of the tower. more

Today on our 2013 Toyota Tacoma, were going to be test fitting the Yakima Q Towers roof rack system using the 66-inch round bars. Well use part numbers Y00410, Y00727, Y00728 and Y00124. With our roof rack assemble according to the manufacturers instructions, well begin our test fit by opening the front doors of our Tacoma, grabbing the front half of our roof rack and placing it onto the roof line of our vehicle. Per the Yakima fit guide, well measure from the rear edge of the windshield to the leading edge of our foot pack, 6 inches. Well take this measurement on both sides to be sure that we have our feet in line with each other. Once we have our measurements done on both sides, well cam down the large black levers to secure the rack to the roof line of our car. With the front secure, well close our front doors, open our rear doors, grab the rear half of our rack and again place it onto the roof line of our vehicle. more

Today on our 2013 Toyota Tacoma, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima Q Towers Roof Rack System, using the 58" round bars. We'll use part numbers Y00409, Y00727, Y00728, and Y00124. With our rack assembled according to the manufacturer's instructions, we'll begin our test fit by opening the front doors of the Tacoma, grabbing the front half of our rack, and placing it onto the roof line of our vehicle. Per Yakima's fit guide, we're going to measure 6" from the back of the windshield to the front edge of our foot pack on both sides. This will ensure that we have our feet in line with each other. We'll then pull down on the black levers on both sides to secure our rack to the roof line of our car. With our front secure, it's now time for the rear. We're going to place it onto the rear part of our roof, then we're going to take a second measurement. more

Today on our 2013 Toyota Tacoma we're going to be test fitting the Thule Traverse Roof Rack System, using the fifty eight inch square bars. Part numbers THLB58, TH480, and THKIT1511. With our roof rack assembled according to the manufacture's instructions, we're going to begin by opening front doors on the Tacoma and placing the front half of our roof rack on the front portion of our roof. Per Thule's fit guide, we're going to measure thirteen inches from the rear edge of our windshield to the leading edge of our foot pack. We'll take this measurement on both sides to be sure we have our feet in line with each other. With our measurements done, our feet in line, we'll now tighten each side up a little bit at a time until we have the rack secure to our vehicle. With the front portion of our rack secured, we can now close the black plastic covers, also close our front doors. more

Thule Traverse Roof Rack Installation - 2014 Toyota Camry

Today on our 2014 Toyota Camry we'll be test fitting the Thule Traverse Roof Rack System using part numbers THLB50, TH480 and THKIT1438. With everything assembled according to the included instructions, we'll begin our test fit with the front doors open on our car. We'll place the front load bar onto the front of our roof and we'll need to measure 9 inches from the first part of the glass here at the front window to the leading edge of our foot pack. We'll need to make this measurement on both the passenger and driver's side of the vehicle to ensure the front bar is perpendicular to the roof of our Camry and the pads contour to the roof line. With the bar in position, we can use the included tensioning tool to tighten down the silver bolt on the inside of the foot which will bring the clips up tightly against the roof line. Now, we'll need to alternate tightening down each side a little bit at a time so the bar doesn't favor one side of the vehicle. Once that's tightened down and secure, we can place the rear bar onto the rear of our roof. We'll then need to measure the load bar spread. more

Today on our 2014 Toyota Camry we're going to be test fitting the Yakima Q Towers Roof Rack System using the 58" Round Bars. We'll use part numbers Y00409, Y00605, Y00716 and Y00124. With our rack assembled according to the manufacturer's instructions, we'll begin our test fit by opening our front door and placing the front half of our roof rack onto the front roof line. Per the Yakima fit guide we'll measure 8" from the rear edge of our windshield to the leading edge of our foot pack. We'll do this measurement on both sides to be sure we have our feet in line with each other. With both of our feet in line we'll now pull down on the black lever located on each foot pack to secure our clips around the underside of our roof line. With the front half of our rack secure we'll close our front doors, open our rear doors and grab the rear portion of our rack. We'll place it onto the rear portion of our roof. more

Today on our 2014 Toyota Camry, we are going to be test fitting the Yakima Q Towers roof rack system using the 48 inch round bars. We'll use part numbers Y00408, Y00605, Y00716 and Y00124. With our roof rack assembled according the manufactures instructions, we'll begin our test fit by opening the front doors of our Camry and grabbing the front half of our rack. We'll place it on to the front roof line of our vehicle. For Yakimas fit guide, we are going to measure 8 inches from the rear edge of our wind sheield to the front edge of our foot peg. We want to take this measurement on both sides to be sure that we have our feet in line with each other. With our measurement done on both sides, we'll now pull down on the black levers which will tighten our clips around the underside of our roof line securing our rack to our vehicle. With the front hatch secure, we'll shut our front doors, open our rear doors and grab the rear half of our rack. We'll place it on to the rear portion of our roof. more

Today on our 2014 Toyota Sienna, we're going to be test fitting the Thule Rapid Crossroads Refract System using the 53-inch arrow blades. We've got Part numbers THARB53 and TH450R. To begin our test fit, we'll place the front portion of our rack here into the front area of our side rails. Now, we're going to want to find a fixed point on both sides to be sure we have our feet in line with each other. From the intersection here of the side rail and the foot, we'll measure back 5 inches. With our measurement done here, we'll go around to the other side and repeat that. Now with our feet in line with each other, we'll check to be sure we have equal bar overhang on each side ... more

Thule Crossroad Roof Rack Installation - 2014 Toyota Sienna

Today on our 2014 Toyota Sienna we're going to be test fitting the Thule Crossroads Roof Rack System using the 58" square bars. We'll use part numbers THLB58 and TH450. With our rack assembled according to the manufacturer's instructions, we'll grab the front half of our rack and place it onto the front portion of our side rails. We'll bring the black rubber coated metal straps around the underside of our side rails and fit them into the foot of the carrier. We'll need to find a fixed point for measurements. In this case we're going to use the intersection here at the very front of the side rail. We're going to measure back 5" from that intersection to the front edge of our foot pack. more

Today on our 2014 Toyota Yaris, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima Q Towers roof rack system, using part numbers Y00408, Y00608, Y00608 again, and Y00124. With our roof rack assembled to the manufacturer's instructions, we're going to open our front doors, grab our front bar and place it onto the roofline of our vehicle. Per Yakima's fit guide, we're going to measure 2 3/8 of an inch from the rear of our windshield to the leading edge of our footpad. We'll do this measurement on both sides to be sure we have our feet in line with each other. We can then pull down on the black levers to secure our front bar to our vehicle. With our front secure, we can close our front doors, open our rear doors and grab the rear half of our rack. We'll place it on the rear portion of our roofline. This time our measurement is going to be 32 inches from the center of our front bar to the center of our rear bar. more

Today on our 2011 Toyota Prius, we're going to be test-fitting the Thule Traverse Root Rack System. We're using the 50" square bars. These are part number THLB50. Our foot packs are part number TH480 and our fit kit, part number THKIT1566. Today on our 2013 Toyota Corolla, we'll be test-fitting the Thule traverse roof rack system, using part numbers THLB50, TH480, and THKIT1515. We'll begin our test fit by first placing the front bar onto the front of our roof. We'll need to measure ten inches from the front part of our front window, to the first part of our foot pack. We'll need to make this measurement on both the passenger and driver's side of the vehicle. This will insure that the front bar is perpendicular to the roof of our Corolla, and that the pads fit correctly on the roof line. With the front bar in position, we can use the included tensioning tool, which will turn the silver bolt on the inside of our foot, which will tighten down the clips up against the roof. When tightening, we want to alternate sides, so that the bar doesn't favor one side of the vehicle. With the front bar secured, we'll now place our rear bar onto the rear of our roof, and measure our load bar spread. more

Today on our 2013 Toyota Rav4 we'll be taking a look at the Thule Crossroad Roof Rack System using Part Numbers TH450 and THLB50. With our roof rack system assembled according to the instructions, we'll begin our test fit by placing our front bar directly onto the front part of our roof. Now in placing our front bar onto the front part of our roof, we want to find a fix point on our side rails to act as a guide so we can make sure that both feet are in line with each other. As a reference guide we're going to be using the line where the side rail meets the base. We'll set our feet pretty close to this line to ensure that our feet are in line with each other. We'll bring our shaft around ourside rail and fit it back into the foot. more

Today on our 2013 Toyota Rav4, we will be test fitting the Thule Rapid Crossroad Roof Rack System, using part numbers THARB53 and TH450R. With our roof rack system assembled according to the instructions, we can then begin our test fit by placing the front load bar on to the front part of our roof. To make sure that our feet stay straight across from each other, well find a fix point on the side rail and use that for our foot location. Now we can bring the rubber coated strap around the underside of our rail fitting it back k into our foot pack. Now we will use the included tool to tighten the allen bolt and secure our strap around our side rail. Now well grab our rear bar and place it on to the rear part of our roof. The Thule recommends that we have a minimum load bar spread of 24 inches. more

Today on our 2013 Toyota Sienna, we'll be test fitting the Thule complete crossroad kit with 58 inch long bars and locks, part number TH45058. We'll begin our test fit by placing the front load bar onto the front of our roof. We'll position both of the feet next to a crease, right where the raised side rail connects to the roof. Make sure the feet are equidistant from the slide on both sides. This will ensure that the front bar is perpendicular to the raised rails of our roof. With the bar in position, we can bring the rubber coated steel straps around the underside of the bar and hook them into the connection points. We'll then use the included tool to tighten on the black bolt that tighten the straps up against the rail. We'll then repeat the same process for the other side. With this done, we'll go ahead and place the rear load bar onto the rear of our roof and measure the load bar spread. more

With our Roof Rack System assembled according to the instructions, we'll begin our test fit by opening both front doors. We'll grab our front bar and place it on to the front part of our roof. To ensure that we have this bar in the correct location we need to measure nine inches from the leading edge of the windshield to the closest point on our foot pack. We'll do this measurement for both sides of the vehicle to ensure that our feet are in line with each other. Once we have this set, we can use our thumb screw to snug our clamp to the roof line of our vehicle. more

To ensure that we have it in the correct spot, we need to measure eleven and three-eighths inches from the leading edge of the windshield to the closest point on our foot pack. We'll do this measurement on both sides to ensure that our feet are in-line with each other. Once we have it set correctly, we can use the included tool to tighten down the Allen bolt in our foot pack, which will tighten the clamp around the roof-line of our vehicle. We'll make our way from passenger-side to driver-side, tightening a little at a time, so we don't lose our position. more

Today on our 2012 Toyota Highlander, we'll be test fitting the Thule AeroBlade Edge roof rack for raised factory side rails, part number TH7503-TH7503. With our load bars assembled according to the instructions, we'll begin our test fit by placing half of our roof rack system onto the front part of our side rails. Once we have it fit in place, we can grab our strap, take it under our side rail, fitting it back into the head of our load bar. You'll notice that on the strap there are slots numbered 1 through 4. This is to accommodate the different size of side rails that your vehicle may have. Today we'll be setting it on setting #3. more

We'll do this for both sides to make sure that our feet are in line with each other. Now we can take the included tool, open up the foot packs, and tighten the Allen bolt with our Allen key. more

With our roof rack system assembled according to the instructions, we'll begin by placing half of our roof rack system on the front part of our vehicle. To ensure that we have this in the correct location, we need to measure 6" from the leading edge of the windshield to the closest point on our tower. We'll do this for both the passenger and driver side to make sure that they are in line with each other. Then we'll use the thumb screw to tighten the clamp and then close the lid, which will tighten it even more, securing the front part of our carrier. We'll do this for both the passenger and driver side of the vehicle. more

Today on our 2012 Toyota 4Runner we'll be test fitting the Whispbar Raised Factory Side Rail Kit, part numbers wb-s7 and wb-k328. We'll begin our test fit by placing the front crossbar onto the front of our roof. Now on this particular model there are stickers indicating where to put the front crossbar or you can measure from a fixed point on your factory side rails on both sides.Once we've established this position we can use the included Allen key to tighten down the silver bolt which we'll pinch the clamps together tightly against the raised side rails on our 4Runner. We'll do this on both the passenger and driver's side of the vehicle to ensure that the front crossbar is perpendicular to the raised side rails. Once everything is all tightened down and secured we can replace the black plastic covers that we removed before.We'll now place our rear crossbar onto the rear of our roof. Once again there are stickers indicating where to place the rear crossbar. more

Today on our 2012 Toyota 4Runner, well be test fitting the Rola Sport Series Roof Rack with RBU Mounting System for raised factory side rails, part number 59899. Well begin our test fit by placing the front crossbar onto the front of our roof. Well slide the clamps onto the raised side rails and measure from a fixed point onto the raised side rails for the first part of the clamps. Well measure from a fixed point from both the drivers side and passengers side of the vehicle to ensure the front crossbar is perpendicular to the raised side rails of our 4Runner. Once weve established this position, we can then tighten down the black T-handle to secure the clamps tightly against the raised side rails of our 4Runner. Well then push in the black T-handle and lock in place. more
