Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Toyota 4Runner- Video

Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE 2, on our 2015 Toyota 4Runner. This rack's gonna be for you if you don't have carbon fiber frame bikes. It is gonna have frame contact, and what does that is the frame hooks here in the middle. But, you don't really have to worry about it scratching up your normal type bikes, 'cause we do have one, a coated little hook right here, we're we also have an added protection right here. It's very soft, so it's not gonna scratch up your bikes. If you do have a step-through bike, all you need to do is use an adapter bar like this, to put in between your seat and your handlebars for that frame hook to lock down. more

Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Toyota 4Runner HR1450Z-85- Video

Today we have a 2015 Toyota 4Runner and we're gonna be taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE with the cargo carrier. The Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE is gonna be great for you if you have a mountain bike, a road bike and electric bikes, if they're under 50 pounds. Also we're gonna have a decent amount of space up top to load up a lot of our cargo up to a hundred pounds. The Sport Rider SE can either come with these cradles right here, which has a maximum of three inches in tire width, or you can grab it that already has the fat tire cradles on there. These are gonna accept five inch tire widths or you can just grab these individually to swap over one or two, depending on what kind of bikes you have. That's the main gist with this bike rack but we do wanna take it on the test course to show you how it's going to look and feel, whenever we're going on bumps and stuff like that. more

Yakima RidgeBack Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2022 Toyota RAV4- Video

Hey everybody, Ryan here ar etrailer. Today on our 2022 Toyota RAV4, we're gonna be checking out the Yakima RidgeBack Hitch Mounted Bike Rack. So the first impressions of it on the back of the RAV4, I actually think it looks pretty good, especially in this color combination. It matches nice, and it holds the bikes up about where I would want 'em personally. So not up so high where it's gonna completely obstructive the view out of the back window, but up enough to where you can kind of keep an eye on 'em. With that said, this particular rack can hold up to a total of four bikes, but if you need to carry an additional one, there's a five-bike version available. more

The Yakima OnRamp's gonna be a great option for your 2022 Toyota Tundra, just because it sits up a little bit higher than most vehicles. The onramp's gonna come with the ramp, to help you load and unload your bikes, especially if they're heavier because we have a capacity of 66 pounds; If we're not going off road, or if we're not putting it on a motor home or anything like that. We're gonna show you the ramp a little bit later in the video. Even with some odd framed bikes like our electric bike here, we're gonna be able to utilize the center mast and our adjustable mounts, to get that perfect fit for your bike. They are gonna be able to rotate 360 degrees and also pivot around that center mast. All right, so right off the bat, this is a great lightweight and portable bike rack. It's about 24 pounds, which makes it easy to take on and off the hitch. Its weight capacity is about 35 pounds per bike, so your heavier bikes like your e-bikes are not gonna work for this. Let's take a closer look at some of the features. Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we'll be taking a look at the RockyMounts MonoRail 2-Bike Platform Rack right here on our 2022 Toyota Tundra. This is gonna be a really versatile bike rack, pretty much any shape, size, or weight of bike you have, this can handle it. So we'll talk about those features and those specs, we're gonna focus on our truck here today, that way you can see what is the better fit for you, your different types of bikes, and your Toyota Tundra. The first feature we're gonna take a look at is the tilt-away feature. We have this bright, blue lever here at the end, you're gonna pull that lever and just let that bike rack drop down to a tilt, and why would you tilt your bike rack away If you wanna lower your tailgate. So as we can see here, if we can completely lower our tailgate and we actually almost can, you can see it kinda makes contact with our bike over there but it clears the cradles which I'm very surprised by 'cause most bike racks can't tilt away far enough to get some good distance here, so we'll probably have better luck when we take our bike off later on. more

So the Curt Premium is probably what I consider the most family friendly bike rack, just because of the way or probably friendly hanging style bike rack, that is, because of the way it's designed to help out with those smaller children's bikes or those different shaped frames. So you have two cradles out there and you have cradles that are closer together. You can get this as a four bike or a five bike version. They work pretty much the same. more

Saris MHS 1 Bike and Accessory Rack Receiver Base Review - 2015 Toyota 4Runner- Video

Hi everyone, John here. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Saris MHS modular bike rack for four bikes on our 2015 Toyota 4Runner. Now this is a great bike system if you need to get a ton of very heavy bikes onto the road into wherever you're going. Now, taking a look at the specs, this is going to be a platform style with 190 pound weight capacity, which is great especially whenever you can hold four bikes. Now keep in mind only the first two are going to be able to hold your e-bikes or your heavier bikes, so that is something to keep in mind. You can hold your heavier e-bikes on the first one. more

What I mean by that is we're grabbing the front tire instead of the traditional frame out. That works out well for carbon frame bikes. That's gonna work out well for step-through bikes, or like on this mountain bike, we've kind of got a downward angle on that top tube. more
