And also if you are having a growing family or a growing hobby, and you wanna get two bikes to and fro, we have an addition that we can add on to this to make it into a two-bike rack or you can just buy the two-bike rack as it is. Inno Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe- Video
What's going on, everybody Adam here with etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Inno Tire Hold on our 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe. So this is the two-bike configuration but there's also a one-bike configuration, it's gonna have the same exact specs, just this one's gonna be a little longer. But to start it off, it's gonna have 60 pounds per bike, so it's gonna be great for your lighter e-bikes, not gonna be for your fat-tire bikes as these channels are only gonna accept tire widths up to three inches, but when it comes to wheelbase, we're gonna have from, all the way from 34 to 48 inches in wheelbase and that's gonna be good for pretty much any bike you throw out it. If you have some kiddos bikes, you can go ahead and throw those on here as well. I really like the tire hold, just because it's good for the carbon fiber frame bikes, but also we have a little insert here so we can go ahead and adjust this, so that's gonna work with all your kiddo's bikes as well. more

What's going on, everybody. Adam here with etrailer, today we're gonna be taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Destination Two on our 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe. So this is gonna be a good rack to get two bikes to and fro, it's not gonna be for your fat tire bikes as these cradles only are going to accept tire with up to three inches. And when it comes to wheelbase we're gonna have about 48 inches of maximum wheel base. It is gonna have 35 pounds for bikes. So it's not gonna be for your heavier e-bikes or anything like that. more

Curt Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe- Video
What's going on, everybody Adam here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the CURT Premium Four on our 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe. So this is the two-inch shank version but there is a inch and a quarter shank version, if you have that kind of hitch receiver but also we're gonna have a five version as well. They're all gonna have the same exact specs besides the five, the five is just gonna have a little bit more capacity at 220 pounds. This one is gonna have 180 pound of capacity and be able to fit up to four bikes. This is gonna be really good for you or that are just trying to get into the sports. more

This is a great bike rack if you're looking for something to carry your heavy electric bikes as well as have the option to add another one if you want to carry around two bikes. Now, one of its features that it can tilt away, to do so you need to pull on this lever here and then this tilts down your bike rack right over there. Now you'd usually use this if you wanted to lower your tailgate or open your hatch. Here on our Impala, I like it because then if I want to put things away in my trunk, take things out, I have a lot more space without having to take my bike off completely. more

First things first is that the way our bike is mounted to this bike rack is by these two wheels straps as well as this frame mount here in the middle. Adam: What's going on everybody, Adam here with etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Swagman Current on our 2021 Chevrolet Equinox. If you have electric bikes or fat tire bikes, this, in my opinion, is one of the best options we carry here at etrailer just because it comes with all the goodies and has a lot of adjustments to be able to fit all those different types of bikes. We are going to have 60 pounds per bike, so for your electric bikes, if you're unsure if it's going to be over that weight or not, take the battery off and see how much it weighs then, and that is what you're going to be hauling it like, because we do not like to haul with the batteries installed.I really like our wheel cradles. They are made of metal, which is awesome, and they are going to be adjustable. So we have a maximum wheel base of 50 inches, so just measure from the center bottom of one wheel to the other, and that's going to be your wheel base. more

Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Destination Four on our 2021 Chevrolet Equinox.This is a great way to get four bikes to and from your destination but we are going to have a little bit of limitations. It's only going to allow us to put 35 pounds, per bike, on the rack. So, it's not going to be good for your electric bikes and really isn't going to be good for your carbon fiber bikes, just because we don't have a wheel hook. We have a little frame connection here, so it might put a little bit of stress on that carbon frame.Our wheel cradles are only going to accept tires up to three inches in width, so it's not going to be great for your fat tire bikes either. But the nice thing about it is, we are going to have some adjustments for some of the kids' bikes. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Curt Premium 4 on our 2021 Chevrolet Equinox.If you have multiple different style bikes, maybe two kids' bikes and two adult bikes, it's going to be great just because we have two different size cradles. It's going to be about eight inches here and about 14 inches here. So, for those odd frames bikes, it's going to be really easy to get them up and on here so your whole family can go riding.This isn't going to be your bike rack if you have electric bikes or any heavier type bikes. Also, for your carbon fiber frame bikes, hanging style isn't really the rack you want to go with.We're going to have a capacity of 180 pounds. You can actually go ahead and put this on your motor home because it is motor home approved.It does think about your bikes. more

Adam: What's going on, everybody Adam here with etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Kat NV 2.04 Platform-style Bike Rack on our 2021 Chevrolet Equinox. This is going to be a great way to get four bikes to and from the destination, and this is probably one of the more premium options. We are going to be able to have 60 pounds per bike if we only use two. But also, if you do plan on putting four, we're only going to have about 40 pounds per bike.We always want to think about what kind of bikes we want to use with this in the four bike configuration. The electric bikes probably aren't going to be the best option just because we'll probably go over that 40 pounds per bike, but for your fat tire bikes, we do have a 4.8 inch wheel cradle, and it's going to accept wheels all the way up to that. more

If you're looking to get two bikes to and from your destination, this is going to be a great rack to pick for your carbon fiber bikes because we do have a wheel hook. We're not going to be putting any stress on our frame and it does have 60 pounds per bike. If your lighter e-bikes fit into this category and don't have fenders, it's definitely going to be another good option for that. If you want to carry four different bikes, possibly, maybe the family's growing, who knows, we actually do have an add on that makes it into a four bike rack. more

This is a great bike rack for when you want to bring all your friends or all your family, load them into your Tahoe, and load your bikes on this bike rack. It's also 2+2, meaning if you just want to go with you and your friend, or your partner, or your child, you can just remove the other two and use the two bike platform. So, the way our bike is mounted to our bike rack here is by three points. So we have one, two wheel straps. If you look at these wheel straps, they have this nice cushion here to protect your bike from scratches and scuffs, and a ratchet down to secure your wheel to the strap.The cradles also can accommodate tire widths of up to three inches. more

This is a great bike rack if you need your platform bike rack to do exactly what you need it to do, which is take your bike places without all the fancy bells and whistles. The way our bike is mounted to our bike rack right here is by this frame mount. It also has these wheel hoops that do not have wheel straps, but they can accommodate tires up to 3 1/2". People have used this and the wheel hoops, they have noticed do keep the bike wheel in place and you're secure and you're good to go. more

An example could be if you have only a couple of hours for a bike ride and you don't want the stress of having to strap and figure out where your bike goes on your bike rack, this is a great option.So this bike rack does tilt away, to do so you just pull that lever and bring it down. Now, the tilt away feature is used in some vehicles for when you want to access your hatch, but in this case it does come in contact with our bike's pedals so I do not recommend this. There is a good amount of space here though to open the window of your Tahoe if you need to get things from inside, so that's just something to think about with this bike rack.So to bring it back up, all you need to do is grab it and lift it. It snaps right back into place in the spread out position. more

So it's designed so that it's wider out here by the back and narrower towards the front, and that is so you can fit your children's bikes on here with no problem, no need for an adapter for most kids' bikes.So the way our bike is mounted to our bike rack is by three mounting points. So we have one, two and three. So this third one down here is for anti-sway. So with this strapped in, it greatly reduces the sway that your bike has when you drive around. more

Now, the on-ramps can be great if you're tired of lifting that heavy e-bike up, higher than you normally would for your Tahoe to install on the bike rack. It comes with a included ramp, you can just roll your bike up and save all that back pain. Before I show you the ramp, let's look at how the bike attaches. We can look at the cradle here and see that not only does it move all around, so you can attach it on a frame sideways like this, or maybe the post where your seat is, but it protects it with this rubberized finish here. more

This will be a four style hanging bike rack that is going to allow you to carry a lot of bikes to the trail, whether it's friends or family. The one thing with hanging style bike racks is I like that it gets us up off the ground a little bit more, and it's a more economical way to carry a lot of bikes wherever we're trying to go.Now, when we are carrying bikes like this, with the hanging style, it's best to not use carbon bikes. So we don't have a carbon bike on here today. So you might want to look into platform style racks if you have a carbon bike. more
