Inno Roof Rack Review - 2018 Ford Escape inb127- Video
Speaker 1: Today in our 2018 Ford Escape, we're going to be test fitting the Inno square bar roof rack system consisting of part numbers INB127, these are the Inno square cross bars 50 inches long, as well as part number INFR which are the Inno feet for the crossbars, particularly the factory raised side rails. The Inno square bar roof rack system is great for carrying a wide variety of accessories on your roof, offering up space inside your vehicle. This can carry anything from bikes racks to cargo baskets to cargo boxes. The square bars are very strong and sturdy, however they will make noise while you drive so you may have to purchase an after market fairing, which you can find on etrailer.com. Or you can upgrade to Aero bars, which you can also find on etrailer.com. And they simply wrap around your existing factory raised side rails with a rubber coated steel straps and have integrated knobs here to tighten them or loosen them up as you need, so you can take these on and off as you like while you travel.I'd like to give you a couple of quick measurements now. more

Yakima Roof Rack Installation - 2014 Ford Van- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2014 Ford van we're going to be taking a look at the roof rack by Yakima and that's going to be consisting of part numbers Y00410 and that's going to be for the crossbars and part number Y00101 and that's going to be for the rain gutter towers. Here's where our Yakima roof rack looks like installed. This is going to be great to free up space inside of our van and put our gear and cargo up top.Our roof rack is going to feature round bars which is going to greatly reduce wind noise and drag compared to traditional square bars. The distance between our bars is going to be determined by what we're trying to mount. Really anywhere that there's the rain gutter on the outside edge of our vehicle, we're going to be able to mount it because that's how these towers mount. Our roof rack system is going to have a weight capacity of 165 pounds but you always want to double check to make sure that you roof can handle that amount of weight.Our crossbars are going to slide into the clamp right here and then our towers are going to go directly onto our rain guard. more

This is the custom fit kit for the Ford Taurus.The Rhino Rack 2500 series roof rack system is great for carrying a wide variety of accessories on your roof while freeing up space inside your vehicle. Now, it does have the square bar design, which can be a little bit louder while you travel. However, you have two options with that. They do have fairings that you can attach to the front square bars, which you can find on etrailer.com, or you could upgrade the bars to their Vortex Aero bars, which are much quieter.The bars measure 49 inches long, and combined, have a carrying capacity of 165 pounds. But you always want to double check with your vehicle's manual to make sure your roof can withstand those weights. more

Thule Crossroad Roof Rack Installation - 2014 Ford Explorer- Video
Today on our 2014 Ford Explorer we're gonna be taking a look at the Thule complete crossroads kit, part number th45058. Now our kit's gonna consist of two 58 inch long bars that are preassembled with the feet on them already. Now our bars are gonna allow us to free up space inside of our car to make room for passengers and pets while still being able to carry our gear and just mount it on the roof. Now our bars are compatible with all Thule accessories such as bike racks, cargo baskets, or even ski or snowboard carriers. Now our bars have a weight capacity of 165 pounds. I just want to mention, you always want to double check with your vehicle's owner's manual to make sure your roof can handle that amount of weight. Now our kit does come with locks for each one of these knockouts in our kit and they're all key to like. So once we have them installed, we can secure it to our vehicle and deter any theft. Now that I've gone though some of the features, let's look at how easy it is to get them installed. Now we already have one bar installed in our Explorer, so let's show you how to get the back one installed. So we're gonna take our bar and we're gonna set it on our roof and we're gonna want to to make sure that this rubber pad is and top of our raised rails and the strap is gonna go underneath our raised rails. Now we're gonna take our strap and we're gonna feed it up into the channel right here on both ends. And once we have our straps loosely in place, I'm gonna slide my bar right to the back of this section of my raised rail. more

Also, at our end caps here, we do have knockouts which you can replace with the Yakima same-key system, so the accessories that you put on your roof rack, as well as your roof rack, can be keyed alike. The Rhino-Rack Roof System is great for carrying a wide variety of accessories on your roof while freeing up space inside your vehicle. The two bars have a combined carrying capacity of 165 pounds, although you always want to double check with your vehicle's manual to make sure it can withstand that weight. All of our legs are lockable, so once you install this onto your roof, it's going to be secured to your roof. Also, after removing the end cap here, you remove this top piece. You see we have this Vortex Aero strip, and that combined with the aerodynamic shape of the bar will cut down wind noise and drag while you're driving. Yakima Roof Rack Review - 2016 Ford Focus- Video

Today on our 2017 Ford Focus, we're going to take a look at the best roof rack options available. Now when searching for roof rack systems, these are going to be the top three choices from each of these different manufacturers. Up at the top we have our Rhino-Rack RS series roof rack system. Here we have our Inno square bar roof rack system, and at the bottom we have our Yakima JetStream bar roof rack system. Now each of these three roof rack systems has their advantages, but let's go ahead and take a look at the differences between these roof racks. Now the most obvious difference between these three racks is going to be with our middle rack, the Inno, which has a square bar as opposed to the aero bars or vortex aero bars of the Rhino-Rack or the Yakima. Now while the square bar isn't going to necessarily cut down wind noise and drag, you can purchase separately fairings that will do that for this system. Today on our 2015 Ford Edge, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima Core Bar Roof Rack System, consisting of part numbers Y00421, this is the Core Bar Crossbar 50 inches long, part number Y00146, these are the Baseline Towers for the Yakima Crossbars, and part number Y06102, this is one set of the Fit Kits for your Ford Edge, and part number Y06139, and this is the final Fit Kit for your Ford Edge. The Yakima Core Bar Roof Rack System is great for carrying a wide variety of accessories on your roof while freeing up space inside your vehicle. The two bars have combined carrying capacity of 220 pounds, although you always want to double check with your vehicle's manual to make sure that your roof can withstand that weight. The bars have a nice aerodynamic shape to them and that's going to cut down wind noise and drag while you're driving. Also, all the towers have these knockouts here which you can buy lock core systems which are sold separately, so once you install this onto your roof, it will be secure to your roof as well. Know that we've gone over the features of the Roof Rack System, let's go ahead and show you how it installs. We have our rear bar partially assembled on our table here and I will finish assembling it by attaching our Baseline Tower to our Core Bar. We have our tower set up here. Our first step is we're going to insert our adapter piece that comes with our Core Bar. You just push it into place until you hear a loud click like that. Next, we'll take our bracket here, slide that over our bar, then loosely install this portion onto this. more

The Rhino Rack Roof Rack System is a great solution for carrying your bike racks, cargo baskets and ski and snowboard carriers on your vehicle's roof. This will allow you to empty up space inside your cargo area. This is an aerodynamic roof rack that is going to have vortex weatherstrip on the inside that helps to reduce wind, noise and drag compared to other styled crossbars. This weatherstrip on the top is removable and it is going to help to keep dirt, debris and liquid out of your crossbar. It is also easily cutdown to accommodate channel-mounted accessories. Inno Roof Rack Review - 2017 Ford Escape- Video
Today in our 2017 Ford Escape, we're taking a look at the INNO Aero crossbar kit. The part number for our crossbars today are INXB1155-2. For our foot pack, we're using INXS200, and for our fit kit for our Escape, we're using INK628. Now, we already have our front bar installed. We're going to show you how to put the last foot pack together, and then how we install this onto our vehicle, since it's going to be the same way. Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Roof Rack Installation - 2015 Ford Explorer- Video
Today on our 2015 Ford Explorer we're doing a test fit of the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars. The part number for our crossbars today, they're RRVA137B-2. For our foot pack that clamps around our raised rails, we're using RRFX005. Now we already have our front bar installed. We're going to show you how we put this last foot pack on here and then how we actually install our crossbar onto our vehicle. Everything that you see on this table is included with our kit. The only thing that you'll really need to provide yourself is a flat tape measure or a tape measure of some sort just to measure out that crossbar spread and the overhang. more

Inno Roof Rack Review - 2016 Ford Edge- Video
Today on our 2016 Ford Edge we'll be taking a look at Eno Arrow crossbars. The part number for our crossbars today are INXB115-2, for our flush feet we're using INSS200, and for our custom fit kit for the Ford Edge we're using INK676. These crossbars are a low profile aerodynamic design which will help to reduce wind noise and drag and will allow you to carry any roof-mounted accessories on top of your vehicle. This works with either channel-mounted or clamp-on accessories. The weatherstripping on the inside easily pushes down to adapt for those channel-mounted accessories as well as to help keep dirt, debris and liquid out of your crossbars when you don't have any channel-mounted accessories loaded up. All pieces of the roof rack kit come with a limited lifetime warranty and the crossbars have a 165 pound weight capacity. Here, everything we have on our table is what is included in our kit. Thule AeroBlade Edge Crossbar Installation - 2016 Ford Explorer- Video
Today on our 2016 Ford Explorer, we'll be doing a test fit on the Thule Aeroblade Edge roof rack system, using part numbers T-H-7-6-0-3 for the rear crossbar and T-H-7-6-0-4 for the front crossbar and part number K-H-T-I-3-3-1-5-1 for the fit kid. These low profile, aerodynamic, ultra quiet crossbars allow you to carry accessories on the roof or your vehicle. You do have the option to change these plastic locks out with the Thule locking cores. You can pick four up with part number T-H-5-4-4. Their arch design is going to compliment the curves and lines of your roof. They're made out of a light weight anodized aluminum so they're going to be durable and rust-resistant. Thule Roof Rack Review - 2016 Ford Explorer- Video
Today, on our 2016 Ford Explorer, we'll be doing a test fit on the Thule AeroBlade Podium Roof-rack System, using part numbers THARB53 for the aluminum 53" silver crossbars and part number TH460R for the Podium Foot Pack and part number THKIT3151 for the Fit Kit. I've already got the front one installed on the flush mounted rails of our Explorer. Let's go ahead and do the rear one together. I've got one side loosely installed and ready to go. The other side installs the exact same way. First thing we can do is start with our Fit Kit.
