It's going to have a 400 pound capacity, and a 2inch shank for 2inch hitches only. It also comes included with your PC3 pin and clip. We will go ahead take that out of there.It's going to be part number PS1040100. Let's go ahead and put this on our Murano. Then, line up your pin holes. more

Today on our 2014 Nissan Murano, we're going to be doing a test fit of the MaxTow 500 pound capacity, 20 by 47 inch aluminum cargo carrier. It has a 2 inch shank and your pin and clip are included. It's going to be part number MT70108. Let's go ahead and fit this into our 2 inch receiver that we have here today. Take your shank and your receiver, and line up your pin holes. Once you have your pin holes lined up, slide through your pin and your clip. Now let's go ahead and get some measurements. Your first measurement will be your closest distance where your rack may make contact, about 4 inches. more

Rola Dart Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2014 Nissan Murano- Video
Today on our 2014 Nissan Mirano, we'll be test fitting the Rola Dart, it has a solid steel construction, a 2 inch shank and it's going to be 23x56 inches with a 450 pound capacity. This is going to be part number 59550 and it comes with your anti rattle bolt and pin or your anti rattle bolt and clip, apologies. Let's go ahead and test fit this. Go ahead and line up your pin holes and then we'll go ahead and insert your anti rattle bolt. Go ahead and thread that in as far as you can by hand and then we will take our 1 1/16 socket and thread it in the rest of the way. Once you have it tight, you'll see that a lot of the sway, rattle and wobble will be out of your hitch and then just go ahead and put our clip in. Next we'll go ahead and get some measurements. more

Today on our 2014 Nissan Pathfinder we're going to be test-fitting the Pro Series Solo Cargo Carrier. This is 31 x 47. It's designed for use with 2-inch hitches, and it offers a 400-pound weight capacity. The part number is PS1040100. To begin our test fit, we need to slide the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of our hitch. This is a bigger cargo carrier and it can be awkward for one person, so the style I've adopted of test-fitting is to let the rear rest on the ground. Place the shank into the lower portion of the receiver tube and then we're going to lift up on the rear and push in at the same time. more

Today in our 2014 Nissan Pathfinder, we're going to be test fitting the 20x47 MaxxTow Cargo Carrier. This is designed for use in two inches hitches, it offers a 500 pounds weight capacity, its part number is MT70108. Now to begin our test fit, we're going to slide the shank of the carrier right into the receiver tube of the hitch and slide it in far enough so that our pin holes will line up. We can then take our standard 5/8 pin, we'll slide that through and secure it with a clip. Now the pin and clip are sold separately, you can find them in our website, part number is PC3. At its closest point to the rear of the vehicle, the carrier is going to be about 6 inches away that offers us about 10 1/2 inches where the ground clearance. And overall we made about 28 3/4 inches to the length of the Pathfinder. more

We'll start our test fit by inserting the shank into the hitch on our Nissan. You'll see here that it does come with a threaded hitch bolt so we'll go ahead and line up our hitch pin hole. We can thread that into place. We'll go ahead and get it hand tight and then we'll finish it off with our wrench. more

Today, on our 2014 Nissan Frontier, we're going to be test fitting the Pro Series 31X47 cargo carrier for 2-inch hitches, part number PS1040100. We'll begin our test fit by inserting the shank into the hitch on our vehicle. The size of this carrier does make it pretty awkward so how I found it easiest to get it in is to go ahead and tilt it up against the hitch, then walk around to the back. As we life up, we're going to push in at the same time. You'll want to line up your hitch pinholes which can be a challenge. You kind of just got to do some wiggling and then step to the side to see if you're close. more

Today on our 2014 Nissan Frontier, we're going to be test fitting the MaxxTow 17x50 Cargo Carrier, part number MT70107. We'll begin our test fit by inserting the shank of the carrier in to the hitch on our vehicle. This carrier is designed for 2" hitches. Once you have the shank inserted, you'll want to watch for the hitch pin holes to line up. Today, we're using part number PC3 as our pin and clip, as this carrier doesn't come with one. Once we have that through, we'll go ahead and attach the clip to the other side. The closest part of the carrier to the vehicle is going to be the rail here, that measures about 3-1/2" from the bumper. Overall, we've added about 23-1/4". The ground clearance from the back of the rack comes to about 14-1/2". The exhaust does exit on the passenger side of this vehicle and it faces away from the rear so you shouldn't have any issues hauling heat sensitive materials on your carrier. We'll go ahead and check for clearance as we lower our tailgate down. more

We'll begin our test fit by inserting the shank of the rack into the hitch on our vehicle. This particular carrier sits on both 1-1/4 and 2-inch hitches, which makes it nice if you have multiple hitch styles on different vehicles. We'll go ahead and insert the threaded anti-rattle hitch bolt. We'll get that hand tight and then finish it off with our wrench. Tightening this down will help you take the movement out of the shank of the rack, which helps eliminate to movement overall going down the road. Attach our clip on the other side, and we'll grab a couple of measurements. more

Today, on our 2012 Nissan Xterra, we'll be test fitting the Surco cargo carrier for two inch hitches, part number 52018. We'll begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of the hitch, lining up the pin hole and installing our pin and clip. Now, we'll go over a few clearance measurements. We have about 17 inches of ground clearance. The closest point of the carrier to the rear of our Xterra is about five and a half inches. We've added about 31 inches to the overall length of our vehicle. The exhaust system on this vehicle exits on our passenger side and sits about 11 inches away from our loading platform. When opening our rear hatch, we see that the door breaks over the cargo carrier at about 16 inches. more

To begin our test fit, well slide the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of our hitch, line up the pinhole and then thread in our anti-rattle bolt tightening it with a wrench.Now, well go ahead and go over a few clearance measurements while the cargo carrier is in the folded position. In this position, we have about 11-1/2 inches of ground clearance. The closest point of the carrier to the rear of our vehicle is about 4-1/2 inches.Now, well go ahead and pull the handle at the top of the cargo carrier to allow our carrier to tilt. In this position, we have a ground clearance here at the rear of the carrier of about 15 inches. Weve added about 38 inches to the overall length of our vehicle. more

Curt Folding Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2013 Nissan Murano- Video
Today on our 2013 Nissan Murano we'll be test fitting the 24x60 fold-down cargo carrier from Curt for two-inch hitches rated at 500 pounds, part number C18132. Now, to begin our test fit, we'll simply slide the shank of the carrier into the opening of the hitch, line up our pin holes, insert the pin through the pin holes and secure the clip on the other side. Now that our Curt cargo carrier is secured to our Nissan Murano, we'll go over a few clearance measurements to see how they fit together. With the cargo carrier folded up, we have about 11 inches of ground clearance. The closest part of the carrier to the closest part of the vehicle here at the rear bumper is about one and a half inches. Notes, now with the cargo carrier folded up, there is a minimal amount of space between the first part of the cargo carrier and the bumper. more

Surco Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2011 Nissan Pathfinder- Video
Today on our 2011 Nissan Pathfinder well be test fitting the 24 x 60 Cargo Carrier for 2 inch hitches from Surco, part number 52018. Now to begin our test fit well slide the shank of the carrier into the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole, and install our pin and clip. With that done, our cargo carrier is secured to the vehicle, and were ready to load it up. At this point well give you few measurements. From the closest point of the carrier to the back of the vehicle measures 4 inches, and this carrier will add an additional 30 inches of overall length to the vehicle. Our ground clearance at the back of the carrier is 20 inches, and when opening the rear cargo door, it does break over the platform itself at about 9 inches. more
