Hollywood Racks Over-the-Top Trunk Bike Racks Review - 2017 Toyota Highlander- Video
John: Hey guys. John here at etrailer.com. Today we have our 2017 Toyota Highlander and we're test fitting the Hollywood racks over the top trunk mount bike rack. This comes as both a two-bike version as HRF2, as well as a three-bike version as part HRF2-3. Both options will carry up to a 35 pound bike in each cradle. So 35 pounds, 35 pounds, and a three-bike version has another spot.This trunk mountain version is a great way to get our bikes to our favorite destination without having to install a hitch on our vehicle, and maybe find space for a hitch mountain bike rack in our garage. more

Hollywood Racks Over-the-Top Trunk Bike Racks Review - 2018 toyota highlander- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Toyota Highlander we're gonna be doing a test fit of our Hollywood Racks over the top trunk mounted two bike rack. That's part number HRF2. As you can see, we have one bike loaded up already to show how bikes sit on the rack. We have two arms that are gonna support our bikes, and we have two cradles, one per arm. That's gonna give us two points of contact on our cross bar and one point of contact on our vertical bar here. That's gonna prevent the bikes from swaying, making contact with each other or our vehicle.To remove the bikes, we're going to pull off the soft rubber straps here that are going to prevent any sort of damage to our bike frame. more

Yakima Trunk Bike Racks Review - 2017 Toyota Highlander- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Toyota Highlander, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Yakima HangOut Trunk-Mounted 2 Bike Rack. That's part number Y02637.So, I've already got it loaded up with our bike onto the Highlander just to give you a good idea of what it looks like and how it holds our bikes. Like most hanging-style bike racks, it holds our bikes by their top tube. We've got two adjustable rubber straps on the top and then one for our seat post too. This one here is going to be our anti-sway. It's going to help cut down on that bike-to-bike contact and bike-to-vehicle contact when we're on the road. more

Yakima Trunk Bike Racks Review - 2016 Toyota Highlander- Video
Today on our 2016 Toyota Highlander, we're doing a test fit of the Yakuma HangOut trunk mount to bike rack. That part number is Y02637. Now, we already have our bike secured down. We're first going to show you how we secure it in place. We have two straps on our frame and one as our anti-sway strap in the back. I'm going to pull down and lift up to release those. Then we'll be able to pull our bike off and set it off to the side. With our bike out of the way, we'll take a few measurements. more

We're first going to show you how we do that. We have three straps in place, two over the frame and one as our anti-sway strap in the back. We're going to start by pulling down and lifting up to release those and then we'll be able to pull our bike off and just set it off to the side. Next we'll take a few measurements. more
