Thule Trunk Bike Racks Review - 2015 Hyundai Accent- Video

Today on our 2015 Hyundai Accent, we're doing a test fit of the Thule Gateway XT Two-Bike Rack Trunk Mount, part number's T89006XT. Now we have a bike on our rack and we have the rack hooked up to our vehicle. Just going to show you a few items here. Now how our bike is strapped down to the bike rack, we have a total of three straps, two up top and one to the side, what you call an anti-sway strap, so we're going to take the two up top off first. Then we take off our anti-sway strap. Then we can remove our bike, and if you we're loading your bike, you just do it opposite way. more

Today on our 2015 Hyundai Accent, we're doing a test fit of the Saris Bones 3-Bike Carrier, part number is SA801. We have the bike on our rack, and we have our rack hooked up to our vehicle, I'm just going to show you a few things. How we tie down our bike on our rack. We have here, our zip straps. We have 2 up top, we have 1 to the side, we call it our anti-sway strap. We're going to go ahead and take the 2 off top first, push in the lever and just pushing them out, like so. Do the same thing here, just push in the lever here, just pushing them out. more

Today on our 2015 Hyundai Accent we're doing a test fit of the Yakima KingJoe Pro 2 bike rack truck mount part number is Y02624-12. Now I have a bike already on the rack, we have the rack already hooked to the vehicle. Now we're going to show you a few things about it, now we have our bike tied down on the rack. We have a total of three straps, two straps up top, a strap to the side which we call an anti-sway strap. We're going to go ahead and remove these two up top first, then we remove our side one the anti-sway strap, then we can remove our bike. Now if you're loading your bike up you just do the opposite way, you do the anti-sway strap first then you do the other two. more

Today on our 2015 Hyundai Accent we're doing a test fit of the Thule Passage Two-Bike Rack Trunk Mount. That part number is TH-910XT. Now I have a bike on the rack already and our rack is hooked to the vehicle. I'm just going to show you a few things of it. The first thing I'd like to show is how our bike is strapped down to our vehicle. We have two straps up top, we have our anti-sway strap to the side, so we're pretty much just remove the two up top first then remove our anti-sway strap, now we can remove our bike. Now if you we're loading your bike up you would just do it the opposite way. Do the anti-sway strap first then the two up top. more

Thule Raceway Trunk Bike Rack Review - 2011 Hyundai Accent- Video

Today on our 2011 Hyundai Accent, we'll be test fitting the Thule Raceway 2 Bike Carrier, part number TH9001. To begin our test fit, we will need to pop the trunk. With that trunk popped, we can go ahead and bring the carrier up and set it in place on our deck lid. We'll then put the two top straps in at the top of the deck lid between the deck lid and the rear window. We can then make them taunt. With the top straps in place, we'll bring the bottom straps down and hook it to the bottom of our deck lid. more
