We're going to start by pulling down and lifting up to release that. Then we'll be able to pull our bike off and set it off to the side. Let's go ahead and take a closer look, and show off some of the features. Now, how the bike is attached to the rack, we're going to have three points of contact. We're going to have two zip strips up at the top, and one off to the side. That's going to serve as an anti-sway strap to keep the bike from moving too far back and forth, possibly hitting the bike rack or the bikes in front of it, and damaging them. Let's go ahead and take the zip strips off, and set the bike aside. more

Today this 2012 Honda Civic, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima Fullback 2 Bike Rack, part number Y02634. We already have a bike installed on the rack, lets go ahead and take a closer look, and show off some the features. How this bike attaches to the rack, we're going to have three points of contact with your bike's frame. We're going to have two zip strips up at the top here, excuse me. One off to the side, and that's going to serve as an anti-sway strip to keep the bike from moving too far back and forth, possibly hitting the bike rack or the bike in front of it, and damaging it. It also has an integrated cable lock here at the end, where you wrap it around the bike in the front, and attach it to this point here for additional security. Let's go ahead and take the bike off and set it aside. To that, on the zip strips, there's tabs on either side of them. more

We're going to have two straps up at the top here, and one off to the side. That's going to serve as an anti-sway strap, to keep the bike from moving too far back and forth, possibly hitting the bike rack, or the bikes in front of it, and damaging them. Also, it does have an integrated cable lock here, in between the two bikes. You pull this cable out, wrap it around the front bike, and into this slot here, where it is lockable for additional security. more

We're going to have two rubber straps up at the top, and one off to the side here, and that's going to serve as an anti-sway strap to keep the bike from moving too far back and forth, possibly hitting the bike rack itself or the bikes in front of it. Let's go ahead and take that off and set it aside. With the bike rack in this position, I'm going to go ahead and give you a quick measurement. From the bumper to this outer edge we've added about twenty-two inches to the rear of the vehicle. Now in close quarters situations such as parking or when you're putting this in your garage, you can fold these arms down. If you look in here there is actually silver tabs, there's going to be one on each side. more
