Today on our 2012 Chevrolet Traverse with tire size 245-70-r17 well be test fitting the Glacial Cable Snow Tire Chains for light trucks part number pw3010c. Now all well need to do to fit our chains to the vehicle is first ensure that we are using the correct chain on the right side of the vehicle. Youll notice that the cable chains have a tag marking left hand or right hand. They’ll also have an arrow indicating the direction in which the chains should rotate. You also want to make sure that the tensioner on the chains is on the outside of the tire. Well then drape the chains over the top of the tire and then bring them around, ensuring that our tensioner is on the lower side of the tire. more
