SportRack Roof Rack Review - 2010 Ford Edge

Today on our 2010 Ford Edge, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Sport Rack Semi Custom roof rack. Now by semi custom it comes already put together. All you need to do is adjust it per the instructions to whatever number it says to adjust them for your vehicle. You do some minor adjusting, pretty much throw them up there, and you'll have it look like the one that's up here on the front. The only thing that I could advise as far as us putting it on the vehicle is you need to really keep an eye on this rubber seal, because it tends to want to push itself under or over, depending on what kind of vehicle you have. Just make sure that you maintain that full contact with that rubber seal so you don't get the metal apart rubbing on the vehicle. This is will be part: SR1010. more

To ensure that we have our bar in the correct spot, we need to measure 170 millimeters or 17 centimeters from the center of the door jamb to the center of our foot pack. We'll do this measurement on both sides to ensure that our feet are in line with each other. Once we have it in place, we can go ahead and use the included tool to tighten down our bolts which will secure our clamps around our roof line. We'll open our rear doors and grab our rear bar. To ensure that we have our rear bar in the correct spot we need to measure 700 millimeters or 70 centimeters from the center of our front bar to the center of our rear bar. more
