How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the folding tilting hitch-mounted cargo basket from etrailer on our 2023 Hyundai Tucson. So adding a cargo basket to the back of your Tucson is gonna help resolve the issue of having limited cargo space. This is gonna allow you to get those bigger, bulkier items out on the road with you. Compare it against like our rooftop carrier that we have here, this is gonna allow you to still bring those items with you, but you don't necessarily have to get it up on the roof. If you are wanting to protect those same items, you can definitely use a cargo bag or basket. So let's take a closer look at some of the structure of our carrier. more

Yakima Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2020 Hyundai Tucson- Video
Hi everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we are looking at the Yakima EXO System with a two gear warrior cargo carriers here on our 2020 Hyundai Tucson. Now, this is an awesome way to get into the EXO System because you have the swing base, you have a top shelf and you have a lot of cargo space. The gear warriors are basically roof baskets for your hitch and here you get, not just one, but two of them and it carries a lot of gear a lot equipment like what you see right here. So let's talk about weight capacities first. When you have it on its own, it has a weight capacity of 250 pounds. more

Lets Go Aero Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2018 Hyundai Tucson- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Hyundai Tucson we're going to be test fitting the 22 by 48 Let's Go Aero BigBoss cargo carrier for 2" hitches, part number H01465. This has a 300 pound carrying capacity and it has these nice raised walls all the way around the cargo carrier to keep everything inside. It also has these points here all around the edge. That's to use these tie down points for either your ratchet straps or your bungee cords.With this particular vehicle, the exhaust is going to be on the passenger side. However, it does face down and away from the cargo carrier itself so you shouldn't have any issue of putting heat-sensitive materials in your cargo carrier.Right now I'd like to give you a couple quick measurements. Measuring from the edge of the bumper to our outermost point, we've added about 28-1/4" to the rear of the vehicle. more

Rola 22x59 Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2018 Hyundai Tucson- Video
Speaker 1: Today in our 2018 Hyundai Tucson, we're going to be test fitting the 22 by 59 ROLA cargo carrier for two inch hitches. Part number 59502.This can carry up to 600 pounds. We have it installed on our vehicle here. It has a nice, raised shank to it, so you're not going to have to worry about heat-sensitive materials being installed on this. Also, because with our exhaust, it's gonna be in the passenger side and it's gonna face down away from the cargo carrier.It has this nice grated flooring here, and that's gonna make it really easy to clean. We're also gonna have plenty of spots with this railing, all the way around the cargo carrier to serve as tie down points for our ratchet straps or our bungee cords.At the front, we have these reflectors here on both sides, for better visibility at night, and these can be removed and replaced with a lighting kt, which is sold separately.Let's go and get a couple of quick measurements here. more

Part number 801380.This has a 300 pound carrying capacity and it has a whole bunch of features to it so let's go ahead and take a look at it. First off, you can see that it has a bike rack already attached to it that grips your bike by the fork mounts here. So not only does it serve as a cargo carrier for your regular luggage or your sporting equipment, you can also put your bikes on here as well as your luggage. It's very easy to use. It's just a simple fork mount style with the strap at the rear. more

Also has this graded bottom here, which actually makes a lot easier to clean. Plus, all the way around the borders of the cargo carrier, you're going to have these tie down points which you can use for either ratchet straps or bungee cords, whatever you use to secure your cargo as you drive. I'm going to go ahead and give you some measurements now. The first being, how much distance is added to the vehicle once the cargo carrier's installed. I'm going ahead and start that by measuring from the bumper to this point here on the rail. more

It's constructed of a sturdy aluminum. If you look a the front as well as the rear you will have these points here to serve as tie down points for your ratchet straps or bungee cords, whatever you use to secure your load as you're driving. Next I'm going to go ahead and give you some measurements to give you and idea of first, how much distance is added to the vehicle once the cargo carrier is installed. Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2016 Hyundai Tucson- Video
Today in this 2016 Hyundai Tucson we're going to be test fitting the 20 by 60 CURT cargo carrier, part number C18151. This cargo carrier has a 500 pound weight capacity, plus it has this nice mesh floor here which makes it a lot easier it clean. It has this rail all the way around the cargo carrier, which you can use as a tie down point for either ratchet straps or bungee cords, whatever you use to secure your cargo. Next, I'm going to go ahead and give you some measurements here. The first one is going to be how much distance is added to the vehicle once the cargo carrier is installed. I'm going to measure from the bumper to this rail here, that's going to be about 32.75 inches. We'll do the ground clearance to this point here and that's going to be about 11.25 inches. Our closest point, which will be this rail here, that's going to be about 12 inches. This vehicle the exhaust is going to be on the passengers side. more

Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2016 Hyundai Tucson c18110- Video
Today, in this 2016 Hyundai Toussaint, we're going to be test fitting the 20 x 48 CURT Cargo Carrier, part number C18110. Now, this has a 300 pound weight capacity, has this mesh floor in the bottom, which makes it easier to clean, and also, around the border of the cargo carrier, we have these points here, as well as in the back, and the front, and the other side, which can serve as tie down points for your ratchet straps or your bungee cords to secure your load as you're driving. Next, I'm going to go ahead and give you some measurements. First being, the distance added to the vehicle once the cargo carrier is installed. I'm going to go ahead and measure from the bumper to this point here and that's going to be about 26 inches. Our ground clearance to this point here, that's going to be about 14 inches. Then our closest point would be this edge here, and that's going to be about 6 inches. Now, the exhaust on this car is going to be on the passenger side. more

Carpod Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2016 Hyundai Tucson- Video
Today on this 2016 Hyundai Tucson, we're going to be test fitting the 23x47 Carpod walled cargo carrier, part number M2205. This has a carrying capacity of 450 pounds. It's walled on all 4 sides with plenty of spaces to attach tie downs or ratchet straps to secure your cargo while you're driving down the road. I'm going to go ahead and start giving you some measurements here. First off I'm going to give you an example of how much distance is added to the vehicle once the cargo carrier is installed. Detail K2 20x60 Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Hyundai Tucson- Video
Today on our 2015 Hyundai Tucson we're doing a test fit of the detailed K2 cargo carrier, that part number is K2HCC602. We already have it on our vehicle, this cargo carrier is 20" by 60" and it holds up to 500 pounds like I said it's made out of study steel, we have a black powder coating for anti rust and corrosion with a mesh bottom so it will stay nice and clean. Let's take a few measurements here first will be our ground clearance, I'm looking at 11 inches. Closest to our cargo rack it looks at 12 1/2 inches. Over all we add 34 inches to our vehicle. Now on this particular one if the exhaust is on our passenger side I want to show you there, that measurement here is about 19 inches. You just want to remember if you have any heat sensitive materials in your cargo, it shouldn't hurt it at all but you may want to place it on your other side. more

Lets Go Aero Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Hyundai Tucson- Video
Today on our 2015 Hyundai Tucson we are doing a test fit of the Let's Go Aero Gear Cage Cargo Carrier. Part number is 8CR222. See that we have it on our vehicle, lets take a few measurements first just to show you a few things. First measurement I like to take is from the bumper closest to our cargo carrier and that is 7 inches. Overall we have added 41 inches to our vehicle. Our ground clearance we are looking at approximately 10 1/2 inches. This cargo carrier like I said is made of a sturdy steel. It has the black powder coat for non-rusting. You see on this side of our vehicle we have an exhaust here and it is pointed down so you shouldn't have problems. It is about 16 inches away. Always keep in mind if you have any heat sensitive materials you don't want to have it close to there. This does come with a pin and clip, I'm sorry, it does come with an anti-rattle pin and clip that will that shank keep that moving in and out when your going down that road so you have a nice sort of journey. This is cargo carrier is 48x32 and I believe it is 7 inches deep. You can get in and out of your vehicle as you can see but just remember when you are packing it that you don't want to go over 22 inches. If you go any higher than that you won't be able to get in the back of your vehicle. Today on our 2015 Hyundai Tucson we're doing a test fit of the Curt's Cargo Carrier, part number C18153. This cargo carrier is twenty four by sixty and can hold up to five hundred pounds. See that we're here in our vehicle. First I'd like to do is take a couple measurements here. First measure I like is take it from the bumper closest to our cargo carrier. That's fifteen inches. Overall, we've added forty-one inches to the vehicle. more

As you can see, it's a sizable carrier, plenty of anchor points to tie down, and we've got a mesh floor, so all the dirt and debris is going to fall right through. Lets go ahead and start off with a few measurements. With our ground clearance back here, we're looking at about 9 1/2 inches. For our closest point from our Tucson's bumper to the point of the cargo carrier, we're looking at about 4 1/4 inches. more
