Hi, everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the RockyMounts AfterParty SwingAway Bike Rack and seeing how it fits on our 2022 Toyota Tundra. So, like it looks right now, the big benefit of this is that it's a swing away bike rack. So, for your trucks it's gonna be a really solid fit because it allows full clearance with your tailgate and full access to it where we don't have something in our way, so if we need to get something loaded or unloaded, hop in the back or just have a place to sit. One, we have clearance because a lot of times even with a bike rack tilts away, it doesn't have full clearance, and you'll see that a little bit later, but even when it does have full clearance, it's still sitting in front of the tailgate and it doesn't give us a good place to sit. more

Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2022 Toyota Tundra- Video
Hi, everyone. Aidan here at etrailer.com. And today, we're taking a look at the Thule Hitching Post Pro on our 2022 Toyota Tundra. The Hitching Post Pro is a hanging style bike rack that holds the bike by the frame up here. We've got two straps over top to keep it held in these deep cradles as well as a third one around the seatpost here to limit that side to side movement and help with bike to bike contact. I will say it's not perfect and really, no sway cradle is. more

Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2022 Toyota Tundra- Video
Hi everyone. Aidan here with etrailer.com and today we're taking a look at the Kuat NV base on our 2022 Toyota Tundra. The NV is going to be a platform style bike rack that holds a bike by the tire, primarily. That's going to mean zero frame contact, meaning good for our carbon frame bikes and alternative frame bikes and with the 60 pound weight capacity, it's going to be good for some e-bikes, too. We've got our secondary point of contact at the back wheel. It's just a wheel strap that runs over, and everything works together really well to hold the bike really solid. more

Now, these guys are going to be a great way of getting a host of bikes to the trail head with you, and I think the Destination does an excellent job as you go of getting a lot of great stability. When you are looking at platform racks, usually you start getting way, way more expensive, especially versus your four-bike hanging style carriers. However, with the Destination we aren't going to be having to be breaking the bank to get a lot of great features from our platform rack. more

Evangeline: Hi! It's Evangeline from etrailer.com and today we are looking at the Yakima Back Road Four-Bike Hanging Style Rack here on our 2020 Toyota Tundra. Now, this is a great bike rack to have if you need to, of course, carry four bikes on the back of your vehicle. It's nice. It's sturdy and it comes with a cable lock.So, the way our bike is mounted to our bike rack, here, is by one, two, three mounting points. So you have two on the top two and one down here, which is our anti-sway strap. So you can see how it is limiting the sway of our bikes on the road, which is great especially if you don't want them hitting against each other or causing damage to your bike.So to dismount the bike, what I like to do is start here at the bottom. more

This is a great bike rack if you want something that's small, minimalistic, lightweight but really sturdy and will secure your bike racks very well.So the way our bike is mounted to this bike rack here is by two straps here by the wheels and this raim mount as well. And this frame Mount is interesting because of the weight it can adjust you can rotate it 360 degrees. It fits around your tire, your frame, and it has this nice rubber strap here to help grip it as well as protect it from scratch and scratch scuffs. So I really liked that function. So to dismount your bike I start with the wheel straps, so take that up and out of the way. more

We're going to do a test fit of the Thule Hitching Post Pro 4 Bike Rack.This is a hanging style rack so, it's going to grip your bikes by the top tube and it's going to allow you to transport up to four bikes to and from your destination.Our bikes going to be gripped at three different points. We're going to have these nice thick rubber straps securing them into their cradles. We'll have two of those points on our top two. Today, on our 2016 Toyota Tundra, we're doing a test-fit of the Yakima Platform-Style 2-Bike Rack with the Yakima HoldUp, Part #Y02443. We already have our bike secured down. I'm first going to show you one of the key features of this rack. I'm going to come to the back and lift up slightly, and then pull out on the red pin, there. That's going to allow us to tilt our rack away from our vehicle. Check our tailgate here, and it looks like we would make contact with our bike before being able to open the tailgate all the way, but in this position, you can get a couple things out from the edge there, if you need to. more

Softride Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2014 Toyota Tundra- Video
Today on our 2014 Toyota Tundra, we'll be doing a test for the Softride hydraulic assist dura tilting four bike rack. That's part number SR26321. As you can see I've already got it loaded up in the Tundra just to give you a good idea of what it's going to look like. Let's go ahead and take a few measurements and then we'll remove the bike and take a few more measurements. So overall to the Tundra we've added about 36 inches. For a ground clearance we're looking at about 17 inches. For our nearest point we're looking at about 4 1/2 inches right here. Now before we take the bike off, the nice thing about this bike rack is that it tilts out with the bike on. more

Kuat NV Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2013 Toyota Tundra- Video
Today on our 2013 Toyota Tundra, we'll be test fitting the Kuat NV aluminum 2-bike carrier, part number N101. To begin our test fit, we'll take the bike carrier and insert the shaft into the hitch, lining up the pin hole, and securing it with our pin and clip. Then we'll turn the black knob on the back of the bike carrier to engage the anti-rattle device. Now we'll go ahead and go over some clearance measurements to see how the bike carrier and our vehicle come together. With the bike rack in its upright position, we have a ground clearance of 17". We have 8-1/2" from the closest part of the carrier to the closest part of the vehicle. more
