This is gonna be a platform style bike rack that can hold up to two bikes and it's gonna hold them by the tires. We have wheel hooks on here to keep it in place. That means zero frame contact, making it good for carbon frame and alternative frame bikes. And with a 60-pound weight capacity per bike, it's gonna be good for some e-bikes too. more

Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer. Today, we're taking a look at the Saris Freedom on our 2022 Toyota RAV4. The Saris Freedom is a platform-style bike rack. It's gonna hold the bikes in these wheel cradles and primarily by our frame up here. That is gonna mean frame contact, so you wanna avoid your carbon frame bikes, but with alternative frame bikes, you should be fine. These cradles are height adjustable by loosening this knob, sliding it up and down, and they do rotate 360 degrees, so you can kinda mix it and match it and get it to adjust to your frame. more
