Softride Dura Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2009 Saturn Outlook- Video

Today on our 2009 Saturn Outlook, we'll be testing the Softride Dura parallelogram, part number SR26247. To begin our test set, we'll slide the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of the hitch. Line up the pinhole, and thread in our anti rattle bolt, tightening it with a wrench and installing our lock. Now we'll go over some clearance measurements. We have about 17 inches of ground clearance. We've added about 31 inches to the overall length of our vehicle. more

Kuat NV Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2009 Saturn Outlook- Video

Today, our 2009 Saturn Outlook we'll be tested in the Kuat NV aluminum platform style, two bike racks or two-inch hitches, part number N101. To begin our test with it, we'll slide the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube with the hitch. We'll line up the pinhole and install our pin and lock. We'll move to the rear of the shank and tighten the hand knob to secure our bike racks to our vehicle and engage our anti-rattle device. Now, we'll go over some clearance measurements. We have about 17 inches of ground clearance. The closest point of the carrier to the rear of our vehicle is about two inches. We've added about 14 inches to the overall length of our outlook. more
