Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2023 Nissan Rogue- Video
How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're gonna take a look at the Swagman Dispatch bike carrier on the back of our 2023 Nissan Rogue. The Dispatch is a frame-mounted bike carrier, meaning that you're gonna have a padded hook across your top tube and two cradle straps to secure your bike to the carrier. If you have a carbon fiber frame, a step-through bike or just a nice paint job where you didn't want any contact, this may not be the best option for you, but if that's not a hurdle, then this'll work out great. On the back of the Rogue, it does not have a tilt feature, but your trade off for not having a tilt is the ability to use it in a flat tow situation or if you also own a RV. So that's kind of a good feature. However, it does limit you from accessing the cargo area if you have the bike on. more

So the first thing I wanna point out is how close it is sitting to our car today. Now we do have a mountain bike with some longer handlebars, but as you can see, if you're on a bumpy road, you're gonna be likely to make contact with that back window. So two things to say about that is if you have a road bike, you should be fine. more

Now this is gonna be a great option if you have a family, if you like going out riding with friends and you need to haul out of bikes, this is gonna be able to do it. Now this is gonna be a hanging style bike rack and it's gonna have a weight capacity of 40 pounds per bike but the carrier itself only has a weight capacity of a 150 pounds. Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Nissan Rogue- Video
Hi, everyone, Aidan here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Thule Hitching Post Pro Hanging-Style Bike Rack and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2021 Nissan Rogue. Now, with this being a hanging-style bike rack, that does mean the bike is going to hang by the frame. You've got these dual arms with four sets of cradles, so capable of carrying up to four bikes, and having three points of contact on that frame. Two straps over the top that hold it down into these deep cradles, and the third one on the seat post here, acting as an anti-sway cradle, which does (indistinct) our side to side movement, helping with bike to bike contact and preventing the bike from running into our vehicle. A lot of different bike racks that we've tested today had clearance issues with the Nissan Rogue. more

Hi everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Swagman Skaha 2 platform style bike rack and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2021 Nissan Rogue. Now this is going to be kind of a mid-range bike rack, but able to work with a wide range of bikes. With this being a platform style rack the bike is going to sit on top of the rack in these wheel cradles, and this particular one holds the bike in place primarily by our front wheel hook right here. That's gonna be the thing that holds the bike upright and keeps it still for the most part, and it does a pretty good job at getting a strong hold on the bike. more

This is gonna be a platform style bike rack and what that means is the bike sits on top of the rack rather than hanging from it. This particular one has two wheel cradles and a front wheel hook. That wheel hook is gonna be the primary thing that keeps the bike upright and still and it does a really good job at that. more

This is gonna be a platform style bike rack which means that the bike sits on top of this tray and this one is held in by the frame. We've got a clamp up top holding onto our frame wherever it fits best. It can rotate around 360 degrees and move around the mast here to adapt to different frame styles. So a good option for alternative frames. more

Hey, it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE hitch bike rack and how it fits on our 2023 Nissan Rogue. The SE is going to be a two-bike platform style bike rack capable of supporting up to 80 pounds each held primarily by this frame hook here on the center mast as well as two straps down at the bottom. So you can use it for your e-bikes. You can mix and match and get some heavier mountain bikes on here if you want to. One thing we do recommend against is using any sort of carbon frame bike 'cause it will potentially be taking damage on the frame as this, making that primary contact here while you're driving or if you just have a nice paint job you want to avoid that as well. more

So the E-spec is for those extra heavy electric bikes with that 70 pound capacity. And if you are flat towing your Nissan rogue and you need that extra movement because it has to be stable enough to work on motorhomes fifth wheels and flat foot vehicles. Now downside to the E-spec is it doesn't have the same premium features that other bike racks have like the tilt the way options. So if you wanna open up the hatch of your Nissan rogue you are gonna have to take your bike off. more

Now right outta the gate, I think the Transfer does an excellent job of staying pretty low profile and with a pretty minimalistic design does a great job of getting some of our bikes to the trail ahead with us. You can see it has that little signature U-frame design that offers a couple key advantages over some of the other platform acts out there. Hollywood Racks Road Runner Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Nissan Rogue- Video
Hey, everybody, welcome to etrailer.com. I'm Bobby and today we're taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Road Runner 4-Bike Rack Carrier here on our 2021 Nissan Rogue. Now the Roadrunner does an excellent job of getting, yes, four bikes up to the trail head. However, I think it really starts to shine by how much sway control we are actually getting for a hanging style rack. So if you're on a lookout for a way of making sure that our bikes stay nice and pretty while still having to utilize that hanging style, I think this can be a great concession for ourselves. On the end of the bars here you are seeing, we do have those two arm supports, and on either side we are getting some nice, little reflectors on the end. more

Now, right out of the gate, the Swagman does an excellent job of just getting our bikes to the trailhead. Now you're losing a lot of those bells and whistles, you might see on some of those more premium bike racks. As you can see nothing too crazy going on here. However, it is very effective at getting our bikes to the trailhead. At a 35-pound capacity per bike, we're getting most of our standard bikes to the trails with us today. more

Now I think the E-Spec does an excellent job of getting these big, heavy ebikes up on here. With a 70 pound capacity rating for each of our bikes we definitely are gonna be doing a good job of getting these big heavy ebikes up on here with no trouble at all. The platform rack itself isn't gonna be anything too crazy. I do kinda like how it is very simple, that that steel construction is doing a very good job of giving us a lot of stability and durability for our rack. more

Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today we are looking at the Hollywood Racks Destination 2 Bike Rack here on our 2018 Nissan Rogue. Now the Hollywood Racks Destination Bike Rack is one of my favorites when it comes to a bike rack that is lightweight and easily storable. So the way this works is that it holds on to your bike at three points, we have one, two straps on the wheel, and then you have this third mounting point, which is the frame clamp. So the frame clamp is kind of cool in its design, in that it can rotate in 360 degrees. So depending on your bike's frame, you can move this clamp up, down, side to side, and even rotate it around. more

Now the Kuat NV is one of my favorite bike racks, when it comes to the premium range of bike racks. It has everything you can expect, super heavy duty weight capacity, integrated locks and an extra repair stand, because why not Now we're gonna take a look at one of the features, which is that it can tilt away, to do so you pull this lever right here and just allow it to drop down to a tilt. And you'll want to do that if you wanna access your hatch. So, as you can see here on our Rogue, there is plenty of clearance between our door and our handlebars meaning we can get into our trunk, maybe grab our water, grab our bags, grab our helmets, all without having to take our bike off, which is nice, is convenient, and it gets you out onto the trail a lot faster. more

Hi, everyone. Aiden here with etrailer.com, and today we're going to be taking a look at the Kuat NV 2.0 base bike rack here on our 2015 Nissan Rogue. That's going to be a really nice platform style bike rack, and one of the standout things with this one is the way it holds it. It's going to be a wheel mounted bike rack, which means it holds it by the front tire here and has a secondary attachment point at the back tire with this strap here. It's going to be great for your carbon frame bikes because you're not going to have any sort of frame contact, but it's also going to be good for those alternative frame bikes or even e-bikes. Because again, we're not relying on frame contact to hook onto and it's gonna have a 60 pound weight capacity. more

Yakima Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Nissan Rogue- Video
Hi, everyone, Aiden here with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima On-ramp two bike platform rack here on the back of our 2015 Nissan Rogue. Now it's gonna be a great way to carry up to two e-bikes with you on your journeys. The weight capacity per bike is 66 pounds so, it can be good for those bigger e-bikes too just to make sure you've got that battery removed for safety when you're going down the road. I really like how this one works for a number of reasons. It holds the bike really well with this cradle up here and these two straps and the wheels down here at the bottom. more

If you are looking to carry around different types of bikes of different shapes and sizes, has a huge weight capacity as well as all the fun premium features that you can ask for. One of those features is that it can tilt away. To do so, there's this foot lever right here. Just step on it and then tilt the bike down and you will want to do this if you want to access your hatch. more

So if you're looking for a really good, aesthetically pleasing bike rack this is gonna be one that comes in a couple different colors. It's gonna come in gray, black, and also pearl. It's gonna have a weight capacity of 40 pounds, so it's gonna be for your lighter bikes and it's gonna have a wheel width of up to three inches, so it's not gonna be for your fat tire bikes or anything like that. But for your basic bikes, it's gonna be great. more

If you're looking for a bike rack that has some options when it comes to hitches this is gonna fit in your inch and a quarter hitch. And also your two inch hitch. It's gonna have 60 pounds for bikes. So for your heavier or lighter e-bikes it's gonna be able to fit on there but not for your fat tire bikes because we're only gonna have a wheel with up to three inches, but it is gonna be 60 pounds per bike which is really nice. more

What's going on everybody, Adam here with the Etrailer today, we're going to be taking a look at the Curt Premium 4 hanging style bike rack on our 2019, Nissan Rogue. So it's gonna be a great entry-level bike rack for you or just getting into the game or are you just looking for a hanging style bike rack. It's not really gonna be for your carbon fiber bikes just because we are going to be hanging by the frame. So, for all the other bikes, that it will be nice and good. The really unique part about this bike rack is, as you can see these arms it gets wide out here and it gets narrow in here. So it's gonna be for your kids' bikes, so you don't need to get an adapter bar most likely. more

If you're looking to get a bike rack that's gonna be able to, pretty much, take care of majority of bikes, if you have a growing family, we can go ahead and add onto this, and it does come in a couple of different configurations. We are going to have a, inch and a quarter option, and both are gonna have options when it comes to colors This is matt black, we're gonna metallic black, and also gunmetal grey. So, you can match it to the car, if you want, or you can just get matt black, because it, kinda goes good with everything. Nice thing about this is, it's gonna have 60 pounds per bike, so for your electric bikes, without the battery, if it weighs under 60 pounds, you can go ahead and use it. more

Rhino Rack Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2017 Nissan Rogue- Video
Adam: Hi everyone, Adam with etrailer.com. Today, we are going to take a look at the Rhino Rack 2, hanging style bike rack on our 2017 Nissan Rogue. So this is going to be able to allow you to take two bikes to and from your destination and it is going to have three different tie-down points per bike. They're going to have two here up top and an anti-sway cradle down at the bottom. And what that's going to do, it's going to limit that bike to bike contact that you get when you're going down the road. It's pretty easy to get the bike off the rack. more
