Yakima FullSwing Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2013 Kia Sorento- Video
Today on our 2013 Kia Sorento we'll be doing a test fit on the Yakima's Full Swing Four Bike Rack. That's part number Y02465. I've already got it loaded up on the Sorento just to give you a good idea of what it looks like and how it holds our bikes. I'd like to point out that it is a hanging style bike rack. It's one of the few hanging style bike racks that has the ability to move out of the way so we can gain access to our rear hatch with the bikes loaded. What we want to do is we'll undo our lever here. It's going to seem like it want to come all the way out, that's where we want it. more

Today, on our 2013 Kia Sorrento, we'll be doing a test fit on the Yakima SwingDaddy 4 bike rack. That's part number Y02464. I've already got it loaded up on the Sorrento, just to give you a good idea of what it looks like and how it holds our bikes. I'd like to point out that it is a hanging style bike rack, and with that being said, one of the best features is it has the ability to swing out away from our vehicle with all the bikes loaded. It's one of the few hanging style bike racks that you can move out of the way with the bikes loaded. We'll start by undoing our lever here. more

Kuat NV Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2013 Kia Sorento- Video
Today on our 2013 Kia Sorento, we'll be test fitting the Kuat NV aluminum, platform-style, 2-bike rack for a 2" hitch, part number N101. To begin our test fit, we'll slide the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of the hitch, line up the pin hole, and install our pin and lock. We'll move to the rear of the shank, and tighten the hand knob to secure our bike rack to our vehicle and engage our anti-rattle device. Now we'll go over some clearance measurements. We have about 12" of ground clearance. The closest point of the carrier to the rear of our Sorento is about 3-1/2". more

Pro Series Q-Slot Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2013 Kia Sorento- Video
Today on our 2013 Kia Sorento, well be test fitting part number PS63134; this is the Pro Series Q-Slot Platform Style 2 Bike Carrier for both 1-1/4 and 2 hitches. Now with our 2 adaptor installed on our shank well slide the bike rack shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole and install our hitch pin. We can then install the safety clip on the other side of the pin which will secure our bike rack to the vehicle. Well now go ahead and give you a few measurements, our ground clearance at the back of the bike rack is 16-1/2 and from the closest point of the bike rack to the back of the vehicle is 7. Well now go ahead and unfold the bike rack platform and check for cargo access and as you can see we can gain cargo access opening our cargo door completely with this bike rack. Were now almost ready to load our bike, well only need to make sure our wheel loop straps our undone and out of the way and that our vertical bar clamp is fully extended. more

Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2013 Kia Sorento- Video
Today on our 2013 Kia Sorento, well be test fitting part number TH934xtr. This is a Thule Hitching Post Pro Folding and Tilting four bike rack with anti-sway cages; they are both inch and a quarter and two inch hitches. Now to begin our test fit, well slide our bike rack shank into the hitch and line up the hitch pin hole and install and tighten down our anti-rattle bolt, with the bolt tight are bike rack is secure to the vehicle. Well now go ahead and give you a few measurements, our ground clearance at the bike rack is 11-3/4 and from the closet point of the bike rack to the back of the vehicle is 6. Well now go ahead and pull the pin at the bottom of the mast to allow the mast to tilt down. We begin access to our cargo area and as you can see we can gain access to the cargo area opening our cargo door completely with this bike rack. more
