This is gonna be a platform style bike rack that fits really well in this value category where it packs a lot of features in a really accessible price point which makes for a really good middle ground in my opinion. I recommend this to a lot of people because it can work with a lot of different bikes. It can handle 60 pounds per tray. It does attach using this front wheel hook primarily so it's gonna be carbon frame friendly and alternative frame friendly. more

Now it's gonna be a very large, very premium bike rack. It's gonna hold the bike by the tires using this dual wheel mount design. So, that wheel hoop you seal on one side is gonna be repeated on the other meaning that there's zero frame contact with the bike, making it good for carbon frame and alternative frame bikes. more

Hi, everyone, Aidan here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Destination 4-Bike Rack and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2023 Hyundai Palisade. This is gonna be a great bike rack for the family, carrying up to four bikes, 35 pounds each. And one of the nice things about the Destination here is that it works really well with kids' bikes, so it's one that I personally recommend for people looking for a family bike rack all the time. Now, some things to know about how it holds the bikes, we've got two wheel straps on the bottom that hold the bike down and in, that's gonna give it most of its stability. And then the bike is being held upright by our frame cradle here with a strapper on the frame. more

Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2023 Hyundai Palisade HLY66ZR- Video
Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Hollywood Rack's Destination E-bike rack, and seeing how it fits in the back of our 2023 Hyundai Palisade. This is gonna be an excellent option for carrying your E-bikes because it has a 70 pound capacity per bike, so good for some heavier E-bikes. And one of my favorite things about this is how easy it's to operate, anywhere from the tilting to the included ramp that we'll all see in a bit. I do wanna talk about some of the bikes this we'll work with besides E-bikes because it does have a clamp that holds onto the frame up top here. It's not gonna be the best fit for carbon frame bikes, but because that clamp can move around and rotate 360 degrees, it's gonna work fine for any alternative frame bikes. more

This is gonna be a platform style bike rack, holding the bike on top of the rack and into these cradles and trays by primarily this front wheel hook. We do have a secondary point of contact at the back wheel in the form of a wheel strap that's just gonna keep the back end of the bike down and secured. But mainly it's this front hook that's going to push the bike down and into the front cradle. more

Hi, everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today we have the Kuat Transfer V2 Three-Bike Platform Rack. We'll take a look at how it fits our 2023 Hyundai Palisade. So the Transfer V2 is a popular rack because it is a Kuat Transfer Rack, which many people like for its design as well as stability, but this is gonna be a more entry level, but also with a unique feature where you can make it easier for you to load and unload your bikes. There are some downsides to this rack though especially with the Hyundai Palisade. For example, the Palisade does have a large hatch and the Transfer has a pretty shallow level of tilt away. So if I needed to tilt the bike rack away and I wanted to get into the hatch, notice here that with only one bike loaded, I can put these arms off to the side. more

Yakima Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2022 Hyundai Palisade- Video
Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Yakima OnRamp on our 2022 Hyundai Palisade. The OnRamp is a platform style bike rack primarily designed to hold e-bikes. It's got a 66 pound weight capacity per bike and it's gonna hold the bike by the frame primarily here. It's a cradle with a strap wrapped around the frame, holding it in place with two wheel straps at the bottom as secondary points of contact. It does hold the bike pretty well in the rack and because it makes frame contact we do wanna avoid carbon frame bikes but these cradles will slide up and down if you loosen it up and rotate 360 degrees so they can accommodate alternative frames pretty well. more

Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Yakima RidgeBack on our 2022 Hyundai Palisade. The RidgeBack is a hanging-style bike rack that holds a bike by the frame. It's up in these cradles with two straps over top of that frame, and a third one around our seat post as our anti-sway cradle. That's gonna limit our side to side movement, not fully eliminating it, but definitely helping reducing bike-to-bike contact, or in some cases, bike-to-vehicle contact. You can see our front wheel does like to move around a bit here, and if it we're to move enough, it might make contact with the vehicle. more

This is gonna be a platform style bike rack that holds up to two bikes each in their own wheel cradles and primarily by the frame up here with the use of this frame hook. Frame hook's gonna mean a couple things. We don't wanna put carbon frame up here because it can damage the frame with any sort of frame contact. And because we're using a hook to make frame contact we will need a bike adapter bar for alternative frame bikes because otherwise this hook just can't get a good contact on the bike and hold it securely. more

This is going to be a, like I said hanging style rack that holds the bike by the frame here. The MonoRail is a platform style bike rack that holds a bike in these trays, and primarily, by our front tire. That's gonna mean zero frame contact, making it good for carbon frame and alternative frame bikes, and with a 60 pound weight capacity per bike, good for e-bikes too. Gets a really strong hold on the bike, because it's got a solid cradle around that front tire in addition to the hook, and we've got a good back wheel strap to keep that end down as well. Like many other bike racks in this class, we do have the ability to tilt it away with bikes loaded. more

Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Kuat Transfer on our 2022 Hyundai Palisade. The Transfer is a platform-style bike rack that holds the bike in these cradles and primarily by our front tire right here. Our wheel hook comes down and holds that pretty firmly in place and that's gonna mean zero frame contact, making it good for carbon frame and alternative frame bikes. Now this version of the bike rack only has a 40-pound weight capacity per bike, so not good for e-bikes, but if you upgrade to the strictly two-inch version, this one can work with inch and a quarter or two inch hitches, but there is a version that is strictly for two inch hitches that has a added weight capacity that's 60 pounds per bike. So if you need that e-bike compatibility and you have a two-inch hitch, I'd go with that one. more

Hi, everyone. Aiden here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima HangTight 6-Bike rack here on our 2020 Hyundai Palisade. Now this style of rack is gonna hang the bike by the handle bars down the back. You can see with this, we fit a lot of bikes in here. Your only other options, really as far as carrying this many bikes on your vehicle would be to have a 4-bike rack plus two on the roof, which then requires a roof rack and a lot of lifting to get those bikes up there. While this bike rack does sit pretty high on most vehicles we actually are at a pretty reasonable height here on the Palisade. more

So this can be an awesome way if you're finding trouble or having trouble I should say, getting your heavy E-bikes onto your carriers. And why I say that, and as the name suggests, we are gonna have a ramp that is gonna assist us of actually getting our bikes onto our carrier. It also is gonna support a 66 pound weight capacity limit, making sure that it's actually built and ready to handle your heavy E-bikes, which is great. Especially if you're comparing this to some of the other carriers on the market, a lot of them are gonna kinda come to a standstill at about 60 pounds per bike. more

Hi everyone. It's Evangelina here at etrailer.com and today we are looking at our Rocky Mount's Monorail One, which means solo bike rack here on our 2021 Hyundai Palisade. This is a great bike rack if you want something that has that extra heavy weight capacity for your electric bikes, as well your fat tire bikes, or even your carbon frame bikes, like what we have here right now. One of its features is that it can tilt away, and to do so, you're going to have to pull this lever right there allowing it to drop down to a stop and you'll want to do this if you want to, say, access your hatch, and you can see how there is space between our door and our bike, allowing us to get in there, maybe grab our water or our helmets or our bags all without having to worry about taking our bike off. It's a nice, quick and easy solution. To bring it up, you're just going to have to lift this up and then it will snap back into place in this position. more

Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Hyundai Palisade- Video
Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer.com and today we are looking at our Hollywood Racks Destination 4 Bike Rack here on our 2021 Hyundai Palisade. Now this is a good bike rack if you're filled up your Palisade with all your friends, all your family, and you all want to go for a bike ride and you need a bike rack that's relatively light, relatively affordable and can carry bikes at different shapes and different sizes. Now let's first take a look at how our bike is mounted to this bike rack. We have one, two wheel straps holding that in place as well as a frame mount here, holding onto our bikes frame. Note how this frame mount is holding onto it by its down shoe, which is nice because we have this frame mount that can rotate 360 around, up, down to fit bikes of different shapes and sizes. So, if you have your children's bikes your step-through bikes or your women's bikes this will work with that. more

Curt Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Hyundai Palisade- Video
Hi, everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer.com and today we are looking at the Curt Premium Four hanging-style bike rack here on our 2021 Hyundai Palisade. Now, I like this bike rack if I'm gonna be carrying around a bunch of bikes and I don't want to be maneuvering through these arms. So if you have a children's bike, you will really appreciate the way that this bike rack angles to be smaller on the inside. Also, I think the way everything is designed allows it to be more versatile and work with bikes of different shapes and different sizes. Yakima Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Hyundai Palisade YA44FR- Video
Evangeline: Hi, it's Evangeline from etrailer.com and today we are looking at our Yakima BackRoad four-bike hanging style rack here on our 2020 Hyundai Palisade. Now, what's great about this bike rack is that it can carry four of your bikes, it has a nice design feature to keep them safe from scuffs and scratches, and its cradles are a good ways apart so your bikes aren't tangled up while you're driving around. The way the bike is mounted to our bike rack here are at three mounting points, so one, two and three. This third one right here is the anti-sway cradle, so it greatly reduces the sway of our bike while we are driving around.To take it off, what you need to do is press in the levers and then pull the ZipStrips out, so one, two and three. You can put them in your pocket or in your glove box when you're out for a ride. I'll just put them on there for now. more

Jacob with etrailer looking at the Thule Helium. This is the two platform style bike iteration, and it comes into one platform as well. On a 2020 Hyundai Palisade, so no frame contact so it's going to be good for carbon bikes and painted bikes. It's got three inch cradles, eight sides, going to have locks on them, and it's going to be a no-tool install. So it's also going to lock down in the hitch area as well.
